- If the EDSA bus lane is not enforced, it will become full of cars and motorcycles, eventually turning it into a congested lane - causing the busway project to fail.
Those buses are able to move hundreds of thousands of commuters, while only occupying a single lane of the highway.

These are offenses that are willful in nature. Don't penalize anymore. Just revoke the license for 2 months, put on probation for one year AND impound the motorcycle for 2 months. Let them feel the offense. No work for 2 months. P5K seems to be pennies for these daring, law breaking individuals.

Di ma ubos2 ang violators. Sana darating ang time na may point system na ang drivers license. Kapag ka naabot ang certain points, di na muna makakapag maneho for a certain period.

Matagal na meron point system sa lisensya. Under RA 10930 sa IRR nito: Grave violations - 5 demerit points; Less grave violations - 3 demerit points; Light violations - 1 demerit point. 5 demerit points - kailangan ng mag attend ng Reorientation Course w/in 30 days, if not suspended ang license. 40 Demerits points, revoked ng license, and 2 years bago maka-apply ng bago.

enforcers should get at least some incentives for their efforts
Needs to increase monetary penalty and suspense their license for repeated offense. Needs also CCTV to help enforcers.

25 yrs of driving and riding sa metro manila no violations kahit a single ticket wala. Kung kaya kong gawin kaya din nang lahat. Napakadali lang naman sumunod sa batas trapiko. sadyang matigas lang ulo nang mga kamoteng to.

increase fines to 20k for the first offense; 40k the second; revoke license and impound motorcycle for the third.
They really need to start making them do community service for couple of hours after being caught. Then pay the fines.

Tell the traffic enforcers to carry big STOP signs🛑instead of waving their hands in apprehending traffic law-breakers. I'm sure STOP sign is recognized in the Philippines.

They don't mind the fines, they won't pay it and will drive without a license. They should just impound the vehicles from the 2nd infraction, give demerit points and increase the cost of registration and insurance for these pasaways.
Paki suggest po sa Coast Guard na bigyan ang mga EDSA enforcers nila ng Safety Vests para visible po sila sa mga motorists. Naka grey camouflage sila na pwedeng mag blend sa environment ng EDSA, wag natin antayin na me isa sa kanila na mahagip ng sasakyan.

Make it 10k for the 1st Offense ‘ . Then use the Funds to buy high quality CCTVs that will cover up the entire bus lane ‘. Para khit walang bantay automatic prin na mahuhuli . Surprise them when renewing their licensef or registration. Or Ipatawag sa LtO 1st offense palang .
i hope MMDA/LTO would come up with statistics showing how many tickets were issued vs how many were paid. my guess is in a few years, there will be more motorists with expired/unrenewed licenses assuming LTO really collects the fines upon renewal.
In this case, the enforcers are confiscating the license, since they're deputized by LTO.
So their payment rate will be much higher than MMDA.

Palagay ko hindi na dahil sa nagmamadali, likas lang na magulang, mapanglamang at makasarili ang mga taong ganito. Mabuti na lang wala sila sa politiko o posisyung may kapangyarihan eh di ano na lang kaya ang pwedeng gawing pang aabuso ng mga ito.
That road should have road bumps, so that the oncoming traffic slows down and that the law breakers won't run away. I don't understand why Manila doesn't enforce road bumps on all public roads.😢
They should re-install properly-lit bollards all throughout the edsa busway with signs stating the 60kph speed limit. Enforcement and infrastructure has to be consistent all throughout
I'll never understand why there is lax enforcement of traffic laws in the Philippines outside of Manila. You cannot move forward without discipline.

Enforce no-contact-apprehensions even only on the bus ways since they don’t have enough manpower to cover the whole stretch. It would also make their jobs much easier and safer.
It's not allowed because of the temporary restraining order from the supreme court.
Why was encap suspended? Its an approach for a progressive and effective enforcement of traffic law. Also, this could be complemented with hefty fines for those vehicle with unreadable number plates. Use of govt stickers for non authorized vehicles or private owned should also be penalised with a much hefty fines, consider impoundment as well. We are quite behind to other countries in this aspect.

they should just add a new rule buses will not be liable for any accidents or deaths involving non authorized vehicles inside the bus lane that may deter some idiots who keeps weaving in and out of the bus lane

5K is not enough, and they're obviously not taking the law seriously. If the penalty is getting your vehicle impounded maybe they'd take this seriously.

What if they try to put a patrol car or MMDA MC Visible without a personnel just to see how they will react, but again, I think it's time to increase the fine and put a non contact apprehension in effect specifically for bus lane only.

Why don’t they compile statistics which MC Taxi has the most violations? This way commuters would know which has the most reckless drivers.
Seems like 5000 for 1st offense isn't working as a deterrent. Increase it and add it to the hazard pay of these brave enforcers.
