- This could have been a simple ticket for illegal parking, but ended with the vehicle being impounded, after the driver ran away from enforcers and was unable to show a drivers license.
The driver seemed to think that as long as he moves his illegally parked vehicle within 5 minutes of enforcers arriving, he wouldn’t be issued a ticket for illegal parking.

I've shown hundreds of people being apprehended for driving without a license and none of them were ever arrested.
The majority are motorcycle or tricycle drivers.
So it's nothing to do with being rich or poor.

Only the police can arrest people. The only thing they can do is confiscation and fine them.
The law sorely needs ammending. Daming violators kasi walang consequences na tumatatak sa utak nila.

I am continually amazed at the roadside hearings that the enforcement officers have to endure before the inevitable happens..
Any other country that runner would be arrested and taken to a station and held for a short time until the paperwork was done....
I saw a noise abatement police in Thailand hold a rider of a noisy motorcycle by the head at the exhaust while he made the rider rev the engine over and over..
More than 5 minutes doing that..
Then he asked him if he thought it was a quiet exhaust..
He was cuffed and taken away after that and his bike was just left in this rough neighborhood..
We need that here also..
Probably an effective way of waking people up to what they're doing. But no doubt that would result in an immediate protest about human rights and a TRO.
@Gadget Addict it's just too slow. If lots of people are getting away with it. The deterent will just depend on the location and the timing. If you're comitted to this kind of implementation. Then you should be open to the reality of the actual effect of these implementation. This is just not as effective as it should be

I'm glad that MMDA took operations here in Malabon to Navotas. Hopefully they continue their operations here, because there are more motorists not wearing helmets or wearing nutshells as their HELMETS and wear slippers.

problema na sa ugali ntn yan.. daanin sa pakiusap pag di kaya sindakin mo pag wala kang pake takbuhan mo sana di ka habulin hahaha kaso operation yan kaya yung mga officer ganado manhuli.. dhl my mga back up.. un simpleng 1k na multa sana nag patong patong pa hahaha.. nagulat daw siya eh alam nmn nyang no parking sguro sa pinag paparkan nya.. tapos de kumot pa un auto nya bago siya nasita so ibg sbhn regular parker yan jan. di mo naman kukumutan yun auto mo kung di ka regular parker sa isang lugar.

Thru Col. Bong's leadership and Gadget Addict's content, the MMDA has gained a fair amount of respect from the public. It's easy to see through their leadership the MMDA have relatively professionalized their ranks. It didnt hurt that military men took over the fold to instill discpline throughout their ranks. They should maintain Col. Bong and his team as permanent regular plantilla civil servants.
Ex; What if i riding a motorcyle with helmet you cannot recogized me, then i had a fake license then after you apprehend me i gave you my fake license then i didnt stop obviously you thinked that i will stop to get my ticket??

The best way to see action in a specific area is through the 8888 presidential complaints center. Either by calling the number or going through to their website.
Is the impound lot in tarlac discontinued.? Back then I do remember loads of vehicles being sent there. Even trucks and buses

I've uploaded quite a few videos where drivers or the friends of drivers have come out with baseball bats, iron bars and such like.
Should be an automatic arrest for driving without a license. Same shit, different day. Here's my prediction, tomorrow there will be more drivers without licenses, more "diyan lang ako" excuses and more illegally parked vehicles. Standby for the same old tired BS excuses for all of those situations. Same old, same old... They just never learn.

Resisting arrest should've been added to this guy's violation. Not stopping for law enforcers.
Generally in those kind of situations the enforcer would add reckless driving and/or 'apprehended after a long chase'.
And the driver might be recommended for seminar too.
It just depends on the exact circumstances each time.
Please, as Filipinos, can we stop the "pakiusap" and the "kilala ko si ganto". No one is above the law. If you broke the law, then accept it and take it as a valuable lesson. Do not mock the law.

2:05 Grabe napakamura pala ng ticket sa pinas 1000 pesos lang, na pull over ako last year sa alberta,canada. "did not stop on a 3-way stop". $400 ticket sakin. Tapos "driving 10 km over the speed limit", $150 ticket naman over 3 years ago. Taasan dapat fine sa pinas.

Pleading for the 5 minute rule which is just a consideration when he was clearly been there for more than 5 since there is a cover already. LOL. How about passing a law that puts vehicles in GRINDER when impounded 2 times or more? That way it does not need to go back to roads while the scraps can be made into valuable materials like bars, seats, tables, barriers, and so on. Hopefully, the drivers who committed the same violation 3 times or more will have a more difficult process for having their LICENSE or not at all. Also, 1-side parking must STOP.
