- When you thought you were lucky in the exclusive bus lane, but suddenly there's LTO enforcers 😅
DOTr-SAICT continue with their strict enforcement of the exclusive bus lane on EDSA.
The EDSA busway has proven to be an extremely effective and efficient way of moving people. But without enforcement, the bus lane tends to fill up with unauthorized cars and motorcycles.

No license, not registered? Confiscate the motorcycle!
Supposedly, hiding from the enforcers should be considered as evading or eluding apprehension. They are putting the officer's safety at risk having to cross through traffic to apprehend them. So once they attempt to elude the officers, it should be grounds for immediate increase of penalty to 2nd Offense which is P10,000 plus one month suspension of driver's license, and required to undergo a road safety seminar.
Another thing, violators caught without proper plates should have their vehicles impounded. LTO claims that the backlogs are almost done, so there should be no excuse for these vehicles to not have their plates until now.
Gadget Addict, please update us if this is so, we'd like to know how these violators are handled, especially those with repeated offenses.

You put too much faith on a very corrupt gov't agency, who has failed time and again following their own deadlines.
And yet here you are wanting car and motocycle owners to pay for their failures.
@@frankdesanta6216 I have my reservations regarding this gov't. My hope is just they get what they deserve eventually, but we do have to start somewhere. There are regulations regarding vehicles without plates and are waiting. The decision to not comply was made voluntarily by individuals who were apprehended in the video, (not really the failure of the gov't on that part.)
Funny enough, you're here watching videos of violators being apprehended due to their willingness to disobey simple rules. None of the violations they were charged with (including not having proper temporary plates) are any of the gov't fault.

Rich or poor, it doesn't matter. Kapag walang disiplina, mabuti pa itatapon na lang mga ganyang tao sa ibang isla kung ayaw gumaya sa iba na sumusunod sa batas.

When the busway gets cleaned-up of MC camotes, hope SAICT turn their attention to other thorougfares where camotes wantonly do counterflow even on roads with solid yellow lanes, along bridges and what not.

Ang driver makakapagmaneho kahit walang drivers license, kahit walang or/cr, kahit walang pang bayad ng multa. Hindi lang sila makakapagmaneho kapag walang sasakyan. Ang dapat kumpiskahin yung sasakyan, hindi drivers license.😅😅😅

Gadget Addict, Please check your footage for this Person in your past videos. I think he once ran away from being ticketed. If i'm not mistaken He also had a black jacket in the old footage, and the same motorcycle and no plate as well.
It seems the 5k10k30k penality is STILL not enough to deter motorist.. interesting how following traffic rules is challenging or they has LOTS of money to burn... very much appreciate the effort in apprehending violators, I'm a 4wheel and Bus/MRT/LRT rider as well.. so many options in deciding what transport to use depending on my daily commitments...
I like how the camera locks in on the violater even when violater chooses to mix with the crowd from a far. It's so hard to stay locked in using our naked eye.

Well done. And to the violators, keep doing it. The government needs the funds. Maybe we should increase the penalty to P10,000. And make sure the fines are paid. Failure to pay the fines should have severe penalties - like a 3 year suspension of the license.

Have you noticed many of those apprehended are uniformed personnel of the PNP and MMDA? I think the minimum penalty should be raised from 5,000 to 50,000.

ang gusto kong malaman ay kung may epekto ba yang panghuhuli na yan lalo na sa mga violator na motorcycle taxi. daming violators lagi mula sa kanila. syempre dapat higher standards sa kanila lalo na at "professionals" sila at ginagamit na panghanap-buhay yung lisensya nila. dapat makaapekto rin yan sa desisyon kung ipagpapatuloy pa yang mga MC na yan dahil kakatapos lang nung trial period nila.

Nice. All violators should be fined. Now I have a question. What is the MMDA doing for the traffic flow? We all know what the cause is, specifically on EDSA. The bus lane is a different issue. What about the traffic flow? Are the MMDA really doing their best on that part of the issue?

i think its safe to assume that everyone should know about the law now, and the penalties
saying "di ko alam" is not an acceptable excuse anymore.
seems like the current increased penalties aren't deterring them enough. what if the 2nd offence penalty is set as the 1st? make the risk of getting caught be way too costly for the potential benefits. because currently, it seems like its "worth the risk"
the penalties can help fund the paycheck of these enforcers who aren't paid enough for the hazards they need to go thru, esp those who need to go patintero with fleeing MCs.
