They really want to give everyone a fair chance and an informed option (even if they should already know). But sometimes you just cannot help someone. I just wish the drivers friends had tried to convince him to simply hand over his license. Because this will be a much bigger headache for the driver, compared to the ticket that he could have accepted.
They wont care because, in the first place, they don’t really own the bus. Let the bus company deal with their mistake. Paying a ticket is a huge dent on their income. They’d rather risk getting fired than having to part with their money

I live near that operation place at C5. There are a lot of obstructions along that narrow road because of the parked cars on the establishments and businesses.

The SCOG team are certainly very lenient. It seems to be their general policy that if the owner of an item is there, they will allow them to remove it. And only after a bazillion encounters, they'll confiscate it. If the owner isn't there to move it, that's the time they confiscate it. That's very different from a certain city that has their own sidewalk clearing operations and basically just throw everything straight onto the truck, whether the owner is there or not.

MMDA should really apply a standard when asking for the license. Ask only 3 times, on the 3rd time, explicitly state that "this is the last time I will ask for the license, else you are getting towed". I get that you want to be amicable in the performance of your duty, but it's clear that a lot of people abuse that.

They'll pay the ticket for unattended illegal parking, which is P2000. They'll also pay the towing fee, which is based on the vehicle weight (categories) and distance from the impound. Typically it would be around P3000 - P4000. But it can be more.

If he can't buy a helmet for the child, the safer option is to escort the child via a jeepney or tricycle. This ticketing routine for repeat offenders needs to stop. They need to take their vehicles for 30 days 1st time, then 90 days then confiscation.
I don't think they'd have a good legal basis for taking the vehicle. But making the penalty increase for repeat violators would probably help a lot.

Mr. GA, what is even "irritating" is that these kamote drivers with their children will tell "I LOVE MY SON/DAUGHTER VERY MUCH" when they get involve in a accident and something happened to their children.
