My 86 year old mother almost lost everything, but we were able to to get to the bank and freeze her account before they got everything, They locked up her computer pretty good, too, but a tech was able to get around it and restore her hard drive. Thank you for the work you do.
I'm 70 years old. I hope I never fall for one of these. You carry on, you young legends.
I did a project on spreading awareness for scam calls. Always happy to share tips to save people potentially from losing thousands.
Here are some good questions to ask yourself to decide if it's a scam;
1. Are they wanting an immediate payment over the phone, with vague threats about what happens if you don't pay? If yes, likely a scam.
2. Are they wanting payment in a specific form (gift cards, mail, etc.), rather than giving you multiple options such as card, cash, paypal, and bank, etc.? If yes, likely a scam.
3. Are they making vague threats over what will happen to you / your account if you don't immediately pay? If yes, likely a scam.
4. Are they getting annoyed or angry when you ask for further details, rather than immediately accepting you should pay? If yes, likely a scam.
5. Hooray; you won something! But are they wanting you to pay in order to access what you won? If yes, likely a scam.
And lastly, if you're EVER unsure or confused about what's going on and it seems like you owe money or need to pay something over the phone, always immediately hang up and call the official support number for the business they claim to be. Example: if someone calls from your bank saying you overdrafted and owe fees, hang up and look up the real number for your bank. Call them to check the status of the account so you're able to verify if it's actually true. Hanging up will cost you nothing because you will always be able to call the official number back to fix the problem. If it's a real problem, and not a scam, then you will still be able to call and fix it.
They get gooder and better each years It only take one bad day when you're super tired and became unaware we've lost a month of rent 3 weeks ago It happened this exact way I was tired and didn't pay attention

Secondly, in india due to high population density law enforcement on each person is way too tedious. Thus, these centres hides as "offices" while they operate. However, the government organises raids to shut down these centres. Large population really does wonders haha
@@ssssss-wu1dg that's is well known among locals. But personally I am Indian and in the mega cities there is such a large number of these that only 2-3 are common knowledge among locals rest are hidden under the mask of offices. In abandoned office buildings or in functioning buildings
You are so good at this ! Thankful you are getting to them
Please, never stop doing this. I love your work. Wish you more success.
Thank you, guys. I was scammed out of $2500 in 2003, and it was all the money in the world to me, at the time, as it was all I had. I nearly ended up homeless. Watching these videos of yours is incredibly healing. Thank you for your service.

Truly a master of disguise
Love hearing the arrogant POS begging for their files. Amazing work. It's sickening to hear them, knowingly possibly emptying a likely elderly or real vulnerable person's life savings.
Thank you for the service you do, sincerely.
LOL I AM AN INDIAN AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE WHAT YOU ARE DOING...THESE ARE THE SAME PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN SCAMMING INDIANS THEMSELVES FOR AGES
And giving you a bad image

Scammers are DALITS

Shortly before my dad died, he was getting calls from Indian scammers. 1) He was so hard of hearing he legit drove them crazy, and not even intentionally. 2) My parents couldn't figure out how to run their answering machine, and constantly ended up recording their calls by accident. We have a couple for posterity of my dad unintentionally making Indian scammers with names like "Steve" and "Bob" absolutely nuts. It's pure gold!
This sounds like genuinely funny content. Would you ever want to upload that on RUclips? Would love to watch!
My grandma couldn't see the computer screen and continuously told them I don't have that money to give you. She didn't drive and lived in the country so I'm not sure how they were going to get their money. 😅
Guy accidentally scammed scammers
What a legend
My dad would get bored at home alone sometimes and just string the scammers along for as long as he possibly could. It would be like a challenge to him,. He would gloat about whenever he beat his personal best records of wasting their time. He said "It wastes their time and fills mine while saving some other poor sap the trouble".
God bless your dad.
Hi, we got scammed recently asking for a refund but they just blocked me 😞 I hope you guys can shut down that company so they won't do that to others again. 😞
Absolutely love your videos! Morning coffeee with some laughs but better yet...you are doing good things for people
2030: "Scammer BEGS me to cancel the drone strike aimed at his call center"
lmao
HAHAHAHAHA
If we have people in 2030 still falling for these scams then we must have failed as human beings :v .
lol
LOL
He asked if 'she' lived alone or with family. He said he lived alone. The scammer said, "That's good." Did anyone else pick up on that?
YES I HEARD THAT😤 The pure cheek of the guy to even ask the question in the first place is beyond me🤦🏾♀️
Yes
Immediately
Of he asked if 'she' lived alone. He wanted to make sure her tech-savvy grand kids weren't there to tell her she's being scammed!!!
Yep. Predatory
So many scammers tears😂. Man, you guys are heros❤
Thank you ❤❤❤ your grandma imitation is hats off. You did so well.
