The people who screw with scammers by pranking them and wasting their time deserve medals for doing the society a great service.
I like prank* calls but sometimes they feel a little annoying for the person on the other end, scammers are the one case I've come across where I WANT annoying to be an understatement. It's perfect, you're harassing them right in the act, I'd love some kind of organized program that has people all around the world making their job harder or even burning them out.
M I do it every time. if I'm not working and I'm bored I'll waste and frustrate them for hours. then I pull the veil off and seriously tell them things they don't like to hear and hang up. As I'm Canadian I don't give a shit if you start threatening police. I live in the bush in northern Canada rcmp are not gonna give a shit.

My wife works at Target and they have stopped a lot of senior citizens who are buying gift cards and are actually still on the phone with the scammers in the store, saving them before they fall victim. I don’t get how those people sleep at night, stealing from older folks, preying on their unawareness. Very sad.

You really think this guy just has all these fake web pages created so he can mess with scammers? The amount of things wrong with this video outnumber the things that make sense.
There is hidden satire throughout the video. Read some of the stuff on his bank login page. The acting is miserable. The methods for controlling computer implemented by the hacker are not accurate. Half the command functions they typed in were made up. Hackers are in this for the money. 15 minutes into the call, that guy would have hung up and found a new target.

When my grandma was 95, a scammer called her and said, "it's your grandson, im in jail!"
My grandma, confused, said, "Jacob?"
Naturally they said, "Yes, I need 5 grand for bail!"
My poor grandma went to the bank and pulled the money out, and was about to exchange it for gift cards. Thank goodness she had enough sense to call our parents first and ask.

I was in line at the bank once and an elderly lady was at a teller. The lady was trying to send 6k to "someone in the military who was trying to get home to his kids" and the teller was trying to explain that she'd heard this story time and time again and tried to convince her against it. Luckily she did convince her out of it but you could tell the lady genuinely believed this scammer. It's just sad and all around cruel.
That was 3 hours they couldn't scam someone else. Bravo

Anyway, the store I worked at the customer service office phone would go off. & sometimes it would go off & there would be a scam like robo voice on the other end. It was busy that day. & I was like hello..? After it only took the robo call like 10sec to talk. & I was like hello..? & I am like I am sorry what..? Then hung up.. (they did first) then I was just ugh, omg. Why. I am busy..
Anyway I almost got catfished on a dating app (Eharmony) that I was paying for premium membership. So basically I had access to everything. But I found this girl supposedly. I got 2 ip addresses. One from United States located somewhere can't remember exactly where. Then the other ip is in the UK, all the information I got is all stored on the USB drive I was goin to hand it in the police department. To a cyber police. But never did get a chance to do it. & I still have it today.

I always answer and act super scared and shocked 😨😱 and when they say they're gonna send the FBI or whatever I just say "SEND EM IN I GOT MY RIFLE READY"

Yeah, we're not allowed to yell at customers no matter how unreasonable or awful they are. Most we can say is "If you continue to talk to me like that, I'm going to terminate the call".

Me too, i had a phonecall like this last year telling me I was due a refund by a lady lol and she needed for me to download a software to my PC for her to issue me a refund. She had an Asian accent i was like id rather give you an account with nothing inside you can put my mula there, she got angry, started hurling insults and asking dont i want my money back and so i cursed at her back, we went bk and forth haha and she hung up and i felt good i gave it hard back, like what customer service has the nerve to come at me incorrect XD
scamming is the scammers' job; and they're angry when they use hours to not scam anyone at the end :D

I could never keep my cool if I was talking to a scammer and they started screaming and cursing like they do here. I wouldn't hesitate to tell them the worst things imaginable! 😂
