      جابر المغامر مول الزريعة هشام normally I would agree, however Suzuki and several other makers have managed to make great sounding stock exhausts, and I would say cuz it is such a affordable bike too so that might play into it, but I like how they changed the z650s stock exhaust. it is forgiveable cuz the bike is just so nice regardless. but it is a pain changing an exhaust just cuz u want to change its sound (not volume, in my case, just sound). I have put slips on but I am getting to the point where I don't want to have to mess with an exhaust and then a power commander to make it work rights. it adds up. this bike is just so nice tho

    I came from a GSX-R750 to and FZ-07 I wouldn't call it a beginner bike, but it is a bike you can buy and never need to get rid of because it's so versatile. I really like mine so far and it's got more than enough power for any rider that is using it for commuting and street use. I'd even venture to say you'd be able to get in more trouble on it rather than a bigger bike like the FZ-09.

    • @Fee.1
      @Fee.1 Год назад

      Which do you like more the 750 or the MT07 ? Do you still own the MT? What makes you like one over the other and has your view changed at all why etc

    • @PynkPwny
      @PynkPwny Год назад

      @@Fee.1 I've moved on to a BMW 1250GSA that being said I would 100% still pick the FZ07 it was an overall more fun bike. This is also the reason I own the GSA since they are similar in the way the engine outputs power more torque than high speed and revs. The GSX-R750 just had speed on the FZ07, but lacked fun factor outside of that...

    Hey Chase, radiators aren't black because it isn't as efficient to dissipate heat. Mythbusters did a video on that. Black absorbs all light, therefore, gets hotter.

      The R3 was my 1st bike 2015, put 600miles on it. Before I start wanting a bigger back tire. Then i jumped to a 2016 fz07, put 4000 on that. Wanted more power jump to a used 2014 1200miles fz09. About to pick it up from a dyno service. 3 modes. I can feel the r3, 07 and 09 when I want. The key to being a rider is to know if your going to stay in the game. Good luck I 💝my R 3 but wanted more, more, not I'm satisfied for now with the Fun-zone 09 original 2014 serviced-up!

  • @denishanjoul

    I got it as a first bike (with no prior riding experience) at the age of 25. I use it daily for my highway commute. But it's really made for city use or the twisties. Can't beat the price-to-bike ratio.

    • @JH-di3nu
      @JH-di3nu 7 лет назад

      Denis Hanjoul what's it like riding on the freeway? Is the wind tolerable?

    • @denishanjoul
      @denishanjoul 7 лет назад +1

      Depends on how tall you are (I am 1.90m (6'3")) and on the distance you're doing. For long stretches at +120kph (+75mph) I would recommend a screen for your own comfort. I've ridden with and without a screen for a certain period of time and prefer the screen, even though it compromises the look of the bike a bit in my opinion. I have a Dart Manta Flyscreen (dark tint) installed. Does a good job and makes cruising at 140kmp (90mph) no issue.

    • @JH-di3nu
      @JH-di3nu 7 лет назад +1

      Denis Hanjoul thanks for your input, that's really helpful. I'm 6'4" and was wondering if there were any windscreens that would help for tall riders. I'll definitely consider the one you mentioned. Thanks again!

    • @markeldamgaard
      @markeldamgaard 7 лет назад +1

      Denis Hanjoul I was thinking of getting it as my first bike as well with no prior experience. So did you think it was a good decision?

    • @denishanjoul
      @denishanjoul 7 лет назад

      Definitely. Engine is super smooth, plenty of mid range power. Throttle can be snappy, but it all depends on how you modulate it.
      But since I use the bike for my commute to work (which is 95% highway use), I am considering swapping it for the 700 Tracer. Just because that bike is a little bit bigger and offers more wind protection.

If the song would have been faster paced the intro would have been shorter. Don't know if you care about that, but that's a little in site into why it's the length that it is. Thanks for watching!

    For those that are interested, there are three FZ O7 motorcycles at Mountain Motorsports in Marietta. They're having a large deal on them because they have been taking up showroom floor for a while. Their price as of March 28th, 2018 is $5,635 for the non ABS model. And yes, there is one in red.

    I picked up a 2016 FZ07 back in October. I'm loving it so far. I use it to commute to work year round here in Northern VA and back road riding on the weekends. Very light, nimble, and plenty of torque. It's probably not the best for touring, but then that is not what it was designed for. Can confirm, wind protection is garbage and it makes freeway riding suck. Can also confirm that this bike taught me how to wheelie because of its weight/torque delivery/wheelie-friendly geometry. Your first ride on it back in 2014 was the final determining factor in the end.
    If I did everything all over again knowing what I know today, I would very likely still end up getting the FZ-07. It's just too much fun!

    I have the Australian learner apporved version of the FZ 07 (MT 07), and it's had ABS since 2015. I have the 2016 ABS MT 07 in Race Blue and Silver as a first bike. Excellent bike, has butt loads of torque and power, even for a de-tuned and bored down (655cc) engine. In my opinion, it doesn't need modes (even the "high output"), it doesn't have quite enough power for it, but it still scares the shit out of you if you chop the throttle accidently.

    I feel like the FZ/MT line of bikes, in particular the MT-09 & MT-07 are a naked/supermoto hybrid. I have a Speed Triple RR, and often, I see the Yamaha MT-09, and think, Dam, that'd be a fun bike to own! :) Did ride a XSR900 for a while and that is a good bike. another tempting option.

    im 16 and i hate that I started on a Harley, dont get me wrong I love the bike and I think its a great starter but I started watching all these motovloggers with sportbikes and naked bikes and it makes me want to sell my sportster and buy a more sportier bike.

    • @nominalvelocity
      @nominalvelocity 7 лет назад +6

      Nick5220 - you can do stupid stuff on a harley too. Being 16 you may have not realized the grass is greener effect. Throw an S&S big bore kit on if you've got an 883, really wakes it up without blowing insurance through the roof. Fz 07 had insurance as expensive as much bigger bikes (for an older experienced rider) due to newbie squids crashing them doing wheelies...probably. 50 horses is better for new riders than 75.

    It's a great starter bike for sure - a good cheap bike if you want to thrash on it at the expert level. But, I would still rather pay the extra $$$ to get the soul of a Monster... or a bike like my Iron - something that doesn't feel cheep all over.

    I wish they come stock with a short little wind screen like the street triple r. at least they are easy to add. I also wish that 4th and 5th were lower geared so there was less spacing between third, fourth, and fifth to help keep the punchiness. you only need one gear for overdrive for cruising on the highway after all

    • @ndperson1
      @ndperson1 7 лет назад

      those short wind screens just look so cool and really surprisingly help with wind on the freeway. but at this price range you can't complain. it is an awesome bike and deal

    I don't understand how this is a bike not to go 100mph on?? I own the bike myself and I've taken this bike up to 130mph easy. It has no problems or anything going high rates of speeds, and I see what he is saying about the wind fighting you but get over it. They didn't make a stripped bike with a 689cc engine that weighs literally as much as a fucking feather NOT to go over 100mph. I have also had this bike keeping up with 1000cc sport bikes, but that is because the bike is really lightweight. What I am trying to say is that this bike is meant to go quick at high rates of speeds, but that is my opinion. I have a cafe racer that has a 1973 250cc vintage engine and it goes almost 105 mph because it is a lightweight bike. Anyway great review with the bike and keep it up man!! :)

    Bought my MT07 last year. My first Bike, i just love it. Customized a lot, like wider bar (much better feeling and control) and exhaust (makes it sound WAY better, louder than most other bikes but in a good way and not annoying). Also i have it in blue and the same icon jacket and an icon variant, so i'm like a german chase clone :D
