So I hopped behind the bars of this 2014 Yamaha FZ-07 to add to the test rider series to see what the hit was on these things vs. the FZ-09. Tons of torque and control in a small affordable package to sum it up! Some dude got a ticket from the police, I found some baby twisties to drop a little knee act-cheee-own as well. IcemanSam650 my fz has yoshi and I've compared it to my friends fz with m4 exhaust. Yoshimura is hands down, way better sounding than m4.

I bought an fz07 5 months ago an love it had some back and wrist issues that was causing problems with my sport bike an have 0 regrets on buying it

Riding in the rain sucks... Unless you live in a place that never has rain, work from home, or just plain have the ability to call out of work or school when you feel like it keep a car.
AdonisMartinez I rode a brand new 2012 ninja 250 for 4 years for college and I live in Orlando Florida where it will downpour heavily for 20mins or so then get humid. Just buy some rain gear. Riding in the rain can also be dangerous, just have to learn how to drive differently. I used to ride on the freeway when it would downpour. I traded my bike that I put 12k miles on for the 2017 FZ07 with ABS. Now I have a fun bike that i won't get bored with. The torque always puts smiles on my face. My next purchase will be a used truck for when I get a dirt bike/supermoto ;)
What sport bike did you own ?
I did the handlebar bushing washer trick. You're right, the wiggle in the bars makes it feel like a plastic toy and not a modern vehicle. You get a little more vibes but not too much to ever bother you.

Dude that's a parallel twin. how could you possibly think that this bike is a triple after hearing it idle for at least 10seconds? LOL. It has such an unmistakable "Twin" exhaust note. It's a great sounding twin at that. nice video!
dankwheelie that is my old motorcycle moramoto bought it from me it is so awesome seeing you ride it, but most def bitter sweet!
The rubber connection saves metal parts as steering wheel from bending in crashes and falls, it also takes some of vibrations out. I personally love such connections on bikes, but this one looks really loose.
Couple of questions for you,
First is how long did it take you to master or be really comfortable doing wheelies in motorcycles and second are there any videos that you would recommend for learning how to do them, aside from actually practicing them?

The Suzuki GSX-S 750 gets no love on line but I bought one last September and I love it! I'm relatively new rider and use this mostly for commuting and weekend warrior-ing and think it's great for that. Have you done a review on this bike? How about wheelies on it? Thanks love the vids!

This bikes sick I love mine going from riding zx10r with friends to this it’s very relaxing and good change of pace!
My mate owns one. Ive ridden it a heap. It should be called the hooligan bike. Sounds great in real life to! Has a real deep grunty tone. New riders- respect the throttle. Yes it will power wheelie in 3rd. Brakes could be better but You adjust your riding accordingly.
It shifts from eco mode to save the front tire mode.
How come your tank doesnt have the FZ07 stripes on both side? I have seen them on other 2017 bikes. Thanks
Oh shit!! I was watching the video and instantly recognized the area you were in. I live right down the road and I go out behind the dump all the time. I like the twisty road that dumps you out onto the road the dump is on. I didn’t know you were local to me that’s awesome.
Everybody is loving these bikes right now including me, pity I don't have a full licence or the doh! to get one, I will hopefully get to ride one on some lessons soon though, can't wait.

I believe the eco indicator is just to let you know that you’re getting good mpg when not on the throttle and in lower rpms. It doesn’t change the way the bike rides at all

My brother had an 09 R6 and that color is similar to his. It was like a dark blue to almost purple. It was a sick bike.

I live in S.W. Florida and it's sunny every day. We've only had 5" of rain in 6 months (Fort Myers). Perfect riding weather almost every day since November.
Any wobble (tank spanks?) with the bike. I've seen lots of videos of wobbles at higher speeds?

How do you think this bike compares to the CRF450L? Power wise and ride-ability. I’m sure the MT-07 is more comfortable on the street. I already have a motocross bike.
What kind of exhaust do you have on it? Looks like a Yoshimura R77?

Currently have a zx6r 636, on the fence whether to get the fz07 or fz09. I do a lot of canyon riding, but also don't want to spend a ton on a new supersport.

Yo i need tips on pop ups and wheelies. I ride a 2009 cbr600. Been on it over a year and its the bike I started on as well. I can pop up strait out of first dumping the cluth but i can't keep it up. If i try to keep it up i end up just going faster and faster and it still just lowers down. I also dont really know how to pop it up in anything but first. Am i just not hitting that focal point of balancing? Havnt tried using the back pegs as support. I feel like im ready to do the shit, but i just cant figure it out.
i love my fz09, it still feels super light and nimble to me , just depends on rider size and weight i guess
