So an unsuspecting test ride has arose on this little Yamaha R3, with it slightly modded I was curious if it was possible to wheelie one of these little guys. with 42 Horsepower and 21lb's of torque I knew it would take everything in it to do so. This is a perfect example showing that it is in fact possible to wheelie a beginner bike aka you can wheelie a 250cc Motorcycle. just yank the life up out of it and be ready for that foot brake!

Yamaha really hit it out of the park with this bike. It's got a lil something for everyone. Sounds nice too for a small cc bike.

It's got 40hp, you can wheelie with 10 with the right technique...

125cc 4 stroke is probably the only exception. People do it but it's so hard especially if you're learning to wheelie

It does have a high balance point which i dont like unlike his naked counterpart that is easier to keep at balance point and can wheelie in 2nd

sooo I love wheelies too, but when you do one especially for a long time all the oil is not where its suppose to sit, and all the lower engine parts, such as the crank, and cylinderwalls arnt being lubcrated and a 5 minute wheelie can do more wear to your engine then you can imagine..BUT IF YOU HAVE A TWO STROKE YOUR FINE BECAUSE THEY ARE OILED THREW THE FUEL AND OIL MIX SO WHEELIE AWAY ON A TWO STROKE

is it difficult to shift from 1st to 2nd when doing a standing wheelie? I feel comfortable shifting if I'm at 45 degrees or less at my angle but any more than that I feel like I would lose debility or accidentally throttle too hard in a new Power Band

You were close to scraping but I don't think you did. Even if you did that piece costs nothing it's just a little plastic piece that is easily replaced.
