Totally agreed, I've been riding professionally for a long time and I have to say this bike has more power than the vast majority of bikes I see on the road daily. Older bikes, big cruiser bikes; I regularly outpace and take to gapplebee's my friend's 1700cc Harley almost daily. They also have amazing track ability and performance, the only bike I've ridden which handles better in the twisties is the SV, and it's pretty close to just as good.
I'm a beginner and I'm looking to buy a bike, this particularly. I love everything from the description to specs on this bike. I think your review has sold me on my first bike. Thanks homie!
Picked up a 19 all black MT-07 for my first bike with zero experience. Beginner friendly? Yes. But this bike could get you in trouble if not carful with the throttle. And with a full Yoshimura exhaust i slapped on it.... ohh mannnnn 🙌🙌🙌
Hazardous_831 exactly. If you have some self control by not ripping on that throttle before you’re 100% confident on it then you’re asking for trouble lol. But ride safe! And enjoy the bike life! 😎
A beginner bike should be 200. Then a 400. Then preferably a 700-850. Then anything above but I think a 700 is more than enough if you are not a big guy or a racer
I have a 2018 grey/yellow MT07. I love the blue option in the 2019! First thing I did was a fender eliminator and LED turn signals. Can’t stand the massive tail it comes with
gamwpanagia longest ride I’ve had is three hours and it was reasonably comfortable. Legs got a little stiff but we’re fine after stretching. I think if I were going to ride any longer than that I’d get the comfort saddle which is apparently much better for longer rides
Test ridden one of these as thinking of upgrading my 2019 Cb500f, from the bottom of my heart I can say that the only thing this bike has the advantage against the 500f is the power, anything else its absolutely terrible from the suspension, brakes, lights, and it doesn't feel as planted and solid than the 500f. Not for me but the engine I can't complain though 👍
i would like to see you test a z900 - it is lower than the z900rs and easier to handle - more power too . got a z900 a couple of months ago - first bike in 10 years - was a little nervous riding it home from the dealer ( about 20 miles from westside jax to southeast side of jax ) - everything was fine until the last two miles - got rained on - then when i went to the DMV to get my updated license ( never got it previously ) i had to wait there for about an hour and a half - didn't start raining until I walked out the door to go home - i only had about 3 miles to drive that time though
Gonna have a refresh soon, just look at the MT-03 2020, the front light is looking old now. I’d buy 2nd hand before refreshed 2018 and wait, or get at MT-09
I had a 2000 Kawasaki ZX-12 Ninja that I learned to ride on and took to Sturgis a few times! It got stolen in 2006 and I hadn't rode until I got my 2019 MT-07 in Denver, CO Vickery Motorsports 45 days ago. I broke it in and had the oil changed & chain tightened then rode it to Phoenix, AZ where I am now. It's got 2,150 miles and I love this bike! Top speed is 127 mph and it handles great, braking is awesome and people absolutely love this bike! I got complimented on the Ninja but nothing compared to this one! I learned a stand up wheelie the other day and can shift it through 4th gear with very little wobble! I'm not a mechanic or bike expert but honestly I wouldn't change a thing with this bike! I'm fucking in love with this thing and I plan to die on it! Seriously! So if anybody wants to bet on a race through the city at rush hour I'll take it motherfuckers! ✌️
William Thompson I mean I was cruising at 90 and had absolutely zero issues but it has absolutely zero wind protection as far as a windscreen goes. So that’s something I’d add for comfort if you ride on the interstate often :)
Well yes, but actually no. Lmao there was a test that showed no difference between an engine that was softly broken in and broken in hard and it was a pretty interesting outcome
The break-in on the new 2019 engines is simple, you run it up to red-line like once, and it's broken in for a lifetime. Just change the oil pretty quickly the first couple times (at like 500 and 1200 miles) or whatever it says in the manual. Then it'll last forever, like a yamaha engine always does.
That's a bit high. I can get a 2019 MT-09 here in michigan for $7k with tax out the door. Try to shoot for around 6k instead for the MT-07. Financially the MT-09 is a better decision. I honestly should have bought one. By the time I upgraded the exhaust and all that shit I've got $8500 into my MT-07 anyways.
It’s not bad at all! The wide tires definitely help it feel stable at higher speeds, and it’s got plenty of power to cruise at 90 mph if you wanted lmao
In what way? I certainly haven't noticed any problems. It's stiff; but that's part of the bikes design and engineering. The ergonomics are amazing and it's capability in the twisties is really astounding.
It’s more than a beginner bike. I’ve been riding 35 years and this is my bike of choice!
justin gill Agree
I bought MT07 Windshield, which is very beautiful. This is the link to purchase www.aliexpress.com/item/4000410019019.html
I have also rode for over 30 years, Nighthawks, Harleys, and this is my bike if choice
As a proud member of the achy old bastard motorcycle club I couldn't agree more. Good ergonomics with great torque makes for a fun ride.

The best upgrade on the FZ-07/MT-07 is steel-braided brake lines (both front and rear). It's makes a huge night and day difference.
timsmotorcyclediary yeah that’s what I ended up having to do on my MT-10
Why are these brake lines better?
John Sellers you can google it...
if your riding in a t shirt ..why even bother with gloves ? may as well lose the skin all the way down
Lmao made me laugh
Nice and evenly?
Lmaooooo
Your voice would be excellent as a South Park character. Amazing!

Glad to hear it! Ride safe, it’s got a lot of power :)
Man that blue was on point
"I'm sorry but nobody cares that you are a Senior" haha had me rolling. Great video man.
Had to watch this. Saw this bike at my local dealer yesterday, love the blue.
Literally same, they had a used z900 that I really wanted but it sold. They recently got this and it caught my eye.

My mindset is that there's no beginner bike,if you're a cannibal you can get killed even with a c50

How do you like the bike? I've been considering it. Think it would be comfortable for a long trip for a small/mid sized person(173cm)?

Brit_Shooter Yeah every sport bike comes stock with the big ass ugly fenders
Thank God I will buy one for myself
I wouldn’t recommend this to beginners. Great for intermediate riders.

The bikes first mile on the dash, emotional moment 😢
love my mt07
Just subscribed, like your videos and I'm definitely considering getting this bike.
Good bike 👍🏼🌺
Dude!! That video is here in Canton Georgia!! I live there! Awesome
I love how the mt07 comes with a 180 rear tire lots of choices for tires
I was thinking of trading my 2007 Kawasaki 650R for the blue 2019 Yamaha MT-07. How are the aerodynamics of the MT-07 on the freeway? Thank you.

I really want a R6, ive ownes 3 in the past. I want to get back on one but i seen these at the dealer..
Why did you ride the whole video with main beam on?
Interesting color
Great video man.. but aren't you supposed to go easy on the throttle when you are running in the bike, as in the first 1000 kms..?
Well yes, but actually no. Lmao there was a test that showed no difference between an engine that was softly broken in and broken in hard and it was a pretty interesting outcome

heeeeiiiiiiiiii my bike is ice fluorrr , hahahahasha , take careee my bro
It would look nasty with blue rims
great video
That intro though
Msrp on this bike is $7,599 where I’m at in Alabama

it's a shame that the baby Bleu is only available in North America
Good morning, does MT 07 have an affordable price in the usa?
It's extremely affordable, if you buy the previous year's model especially. You can get a 2019 MT-07 for around $6,000 and a MT-09 for around $7,000.
@@kylestonehouse7124 Thanks for the answer. Success
Is going from a z125 pro to the mt-07 an easy transition ?
c0uchsl0uch00 easy? No. Doable? Sure. 😂
is that a fabric color?
Best sounding bike @.@! - looks good too. The sound seems like something out of a much uglier bike. *stares at harleys *
Thks
Nice
nicee
Bro I’m in Atlanta and bro I’m starting on a Fz-07
Jealous Dounut13 ayeeeeee be careful m8 and ride safe... ish ;)
Also, if you’re tryna ride any time lemme know ;) hmu on my IG theprofessionaldillweed
How does it do on the high way
It’s not bad at all! The wide tires definitely help it feel stable at higher speeds, and it’s got plenty of power to cruise at 90 mph if you wanted lmao
Is that mph or kph?thnks
Pablo Arcilla mph :)
The Professional Dillweed wow !its fast
Question mt 07 used or new z400
That’s definitely quite a difference between the two.. are we talking for a first bike?
@@theprofessionaldillweed6235 For daily use
Luis Cerro but would it be for your first bike?
@@theprofessionaldillweed6235 No, my last motorcycle was a Z250
@@theprofessionaldillweed6235 Get a 2017 model you can get it under 5kmsrp with zero miles only diffrence is cosmetics and minor upgrades.
Poor mt 07 only 3 miles on the clock, cold engine and pulled till the red-line... I just can't understand.
Leon Greding yeah the engine was new but I let it warm up before going out
Maybe they didn't add just enough coolant and/or didn't test the cooling system long enough before you collected the bike?
That is the proper break-in procedure for this bike. The warm-up period is extremely brief.
3:17 no does not sound better than harley lmfao. Yes great sound for the buck
Mt07 or tracer 700? 🤔
MT all the way
Anacleto Fumagalli both has same engine but tracer is more comfortable I think
@@mertsemih8238 Tracer more like a Versys?
filoIII I think its like adventure style of mt-07 if you mean this and yeah its like Versys
@@mertsemih8238 Those Versys handle VERY well, and have quite a large gas tank, unlike Yam and Honda.
Suspension's always been junk on these.

@@kylestonehouse7124 The suspension has always been the Achilles heel of the FZ/MT line, but the MT is better than the FZ.
Looks nice but for almost the same money you can get a Suzuki GSX S750 that has like 40hp more.
A bran new 2019 GSX is going to be way more expensive
