Now, you may not know what a block zone is, but this ride has 10.
@@GGTP2012and each block zone is long enough to be an entire roller coaster by itself
It is an Intamin, so this is pretty much a guarantee LOL

It probably is 😂
Agreed. Legit looks like one.
When this ride was announced years ago I immediately wrote it off as something which isn’t gonna come to fruition, but I’m honestly impressed that they’re really going forward with it. Literally something out of Planet Coaster
It is not that impressive considering the amount of oil money flowing into this park.
@@luukr7293 Dont think that makes it any less impressive? Still a crazy ambitous thing to build for Intamin
@@luukr7293 money isn't everything. Obviously it isn't all about money, but for something this insane, this is possibly one of the greatest engineering feats of all time.
@@acegene7284it will 100% the most demanding engineering project in the history of coasters, that’s for sure, it’s 180 feet taller than anything else out there. Think about it. @@acegene7284for saudi arabia, money CAN get everything for them, that's why they're trying to build all these fancy coasters and theme parks, to try and get the world's attention.
The name is very appropriate. With the long, smooth, swooping sections of track, this coaster definitely looks like it is gliding like a bird of prey. I especially love the incorporation of terrain into the layout.
Great description
Gonna save on the insane cost working with the terrain. Notice the first hills are a lot shorter than in previous animations also probably to save on cost

I'm very impressed in Intamin's engineering efforts to make it happen, and seeing the images of the construction so far along makes it even wilder. However I also kinda hope (and think it's likely) that once it's open it won't stay open too long. It's a waste, of course to build something and close it soon after but I don't want anyone who pretends to be politically active going to *SAUDI ARABIA* of all places to participate in Mohammed Bonesaw's tourismwashing/sportswashing project. It should be pretty obvious at this point that they don't care what anyone thinks about their human rights issues, they don't care anymore than necessary to get the things they want(re: world cup - BTW, don't go letting FIFA off the hook like they didn't know any better, "they just spent so much money that we forgot" is a pretty pathetic excuse) anyway.
im very impressed with the trains. how they have a windshield and how the seats are separated from the middle in the back rows on the cars for a better vantage point. this coaster will be insane. exited to see it happen.

i feel like you can really tell now that the 600 foot drop is gonna be slightly dumb, basically a dive coaster drop for 300 feet and then a ramp with a launch. the camelback on the other hand looks insane
my exact thoughts, even down to the choice of words lol
yeh but ummm.... dive coaster drop with only a lapbar for 300ft is insane my guy.
That looks dumb but probably will feel ridiculous. Usually on a ride, even if the first drop is 300ft, you get to the bottom and that’s the drop. Then you go up again. Here the track flattens a bit, but then it’s like nope you still have another 300 ft drop to go except it’s also launched lol.
What's dumb is judging it before it's even built
It's because the G forces will be so high at the bottom it couldn't be an 80-90 degree drop the whole way down....
Bro. It got chills lol. This straight up looks like an idea out of Planet coaster. Can't believe this is gonna be real
The fact that this thing literally surrounds the whole border of the park just makes it even better. They managed to break all 3 stat records at the same time, unlike top thrill and king da ka
They have finished building it yet. Don't celebrate until the project is completed.
@@Thehouseoffail give us one reason to doubt this project is happening
@otakmilans7459 I'm not saying it isn't? I'm sure they will probably build it. It's simply that they haven't actually broken any records until construction is completed and the ride officially opens. That's how coaster records work. So it's too early to say they "managed to break all 3 stat records" in the past tense. You to use future tense.
It's also possible for someone to build a taller or faster coaster (probably not longest though) in the meantime, just to prevent them from getting all 3 at once. The coaster wars are competitive and petty, so it's entirely possible.

14 people per train? they better run a lot of trains for that capacity will suck!
Not really, this thing probably won't have a long line given that it's probably the most intimidating coaster ever built. This thing WILL scare most people off, so the lower capacity won't be as much of an issue. Think like I305.

@@ekimr90 Nah it doesn't, it looks like something out of RCT3
It does seem very familiar to a massive millennium force, a couple of amazing record braking elements and a lot of filler
It also looks to be all speed and very little intensity, but that might just be from the video
You know the guys who say they would have survived the Oceangate submersible implosion? Yeah, yall got the same energy.
This thing will breakdown everyday.
I’m ready for 10 seconds of ejector airtime 500 feet in the air!

This song fits it so good it should be the soundtrack! Is it?
This looks surprisingly similar to the one made by ML Designs. If there is only one company to shatter the records, it would be Intamin.
Intamin shattered the records in 2000 with Millennium Force!
Oh my god it's actually gonna happen. I never thought I'd see the day
Except for that massive airtime hill after the tallest drop, it looks pretty forceless and boring. Which makes sense, as the stresses that would be put on the tracks at those speeds prevents all but the most sweeping and gentle of curves. This is something solely built to break records, with no soul.
Are you kidding? That is gonna provide strong floater-ejector airtime all throughout the train!
@@A-aronTI i mean, ppl like him are just too stupid to properly analyze what the forces on the coaster are. Like I can already see that the transitions on the new official animation are a bit snappier than MLDesign's prediction

if not intamin's getting sued by FOM
Unless they add some extra blocks (can’t see brake runs?) the capacity is going to be tiny. They’ll have to price it so high only a few people can go on it…..
its gonna run 6 trains
Each launch will be a block
Son of beast vibes
Imagine getting stuck at the top of that mountain. Wonder how you'd get down. Wonder how many break runs this'll have with how long it'll be.
A coaster like this would be a perfect fit for a theme park mostly in "West Virginia" due the states mountainous terrains, but it depends on how much land there is available.

(And without goggles. I hope the windshied doesn't make the ride feel like riding a plane or high speed train, where there's no sense of speed at all... unless u get slapped on a itty-bitty Dash-8 in a violent snowstorm - because that happened to me!)
I am in utter shock that this is going to be real
It was a great run great adventure, I’m surprised the record lasted as long as it did.
We need to talk about those go carts. Incredible.
Go karts? F1 cars haha
I feel that it should have longer trains, not only for capacity, but it would look cooler to see a really long, Superman or Millennium Force type train flying through this course
It's too fast to have longer trains. longer trains would mean more weight. More weight would mean higher stresses on track/trains, and higher forces on the riders which would make it too intense and possibly too dangerous to ride. Hence intimidator 305.
Just the cost in operating this ride and the cost in maintaining this ride has to be insane!!! I'm sure that the Saudi Government will subsidized the ride. Saudi is spending already a planned, $500 Billion...(yup...Billion with a B!!) for the entire park and "city" this ride/park will be at/in. This ride alone, I'd assume has to cost at least $600 Million!! I wouldn't be surprised if it was actually $1 Billion!!! Great job on, Intamin for getting the contract to build/manufacture this ride!!! There won't be a theme park anywhere else in the world and especially not here in the US that will pay/build a coaster that will beat this one(in records that this ride will now hold) as of, January 10th of this year, the ride was already 60% completed
Mega, Hyper, Giga, Strata, and now Exa!
Crazy that i have build coasters like this in Planet Coaster. Awsome design
Would have been better if there was a wave turn over the entrance of the park
I think we owe Goliath's drop an apology
oof
Steeper than it though
Interesting they went with windscreens instead of the Formula Ross’s approach of having everyone wear goggles.
Wait this is actually happening? Feel like the last time i saw this mentioned the odds of it becoming a reality were close to 0
Everyone else sees a mega massive rollercoaster meanwhile Ryan is drueling over them block zones
Not sure why they didn’t go after the inversion record while they were at it
I don't really trust it, these Saudi mega-projects all feel like techbro what ifs rather than something tangible. Even if it does get built and opens to the public, how long can it last for?
Like the biggest ferris weil that was open for a few month before it was abandoned?
Sandy Cheeks: "I give it three days."
Squidward: "I give it eleven minutes."
The race track in this render is a new Formula 1 Track
On one hand I’m surprised that the project has even gotten this far but looking past any technical problems this right might have I feel like the layout is just 50% filler. That camelback and everything after it look amazing but everything leading up to the big drop I feel is kind of just there to get it there and nothing else. Still looks fun but I think that the park and intamin could have done a bit more making it less of a gimmick ride given the budget and hype.
The top hat is a missed oppurtunity for a zero-g roll
Is it known if Intamin put a bid in to do Top Thrill 2? I wonder if it's possible Intimin didn't get involved because they didn't have the manufacturing capacity because of this and whatever else they were already committed to for this year and next. 13,944 feet of track is massive, and then there's the insane amount of steel and manufacturing for the supports. The camel back looks like a full sized municiple bridge!
Theres a mini Top thrill 2 right next to falcons flight
It'll have an elevation difference of 640' but it'll have two drops ranging between 500' and 600' The term Giga actually means times one billion, so I don't know what latin prefix a coaster this size ought to adapt to denote it's height and/or drop (although drop is the physics end of the coaster stat, NOT height). What do you think it'll be?
Great score too
The big question is how will the maintenance be? The extreme heat and so much track to inspect
the ride itself looks amazing, but I hate the fact that just because of my identity, ill never be able to ride it
You and me both.
Unless I go undercover like a secret agent in order to ride.
Same here.Would be nice to go, but there are other countries more friendly to the rainbow family. But aside from that I'm pretty sure the sand is going to wreak havoc on this ride. It's going to be in interesting combination of sandblasting/damaging the track and lift system, wearing the urethane on the wheels more quickly, and reducing the friction of the wheels against the track making the big airtime hill more difficult to actually scale, not to mention getting into the bearings and joints which will make maintenance on this ride a real beast.
same😭
@@psychopompinc.646 I'm very intrigued on how this will play out.
