It’s insane how much he can control that recoil to the point where it doesn’t even look like he is tracking up in the slightest bit.
I renember my furst shotgun. I remember putting the back of my shoulder against tree to take the recoil. I remember my dad warning me not do that. I remember pain...
Wow. Solid video. The portion on stock length opened my hard head and eyes. I always thought the shorter the better. I’ll practice the “all the way out, one click in” instead of “all the way in, one click out” that I’ve been doing for 20yrs.
Not only is this a fun video, but there's also a ton of actionable information that you can take to the range, and build into a foundation that will (with practice) last forever. The points made are logical with good supporting evidence. I also appreciated the "look out for this" tips to make sure you can apply corrective steps when you get off track. I will definitely be watching this a few more times with an extra critical eye.
As a left handed guy who is right eye dominant I've always struggled with recoil control, these video's are awesome at helping me develop my skills properly. Thank you for putting this kind of content out!
I have the same problem in reverse. Have to make do with rifles and shotguns by shooting left handed (which is easy for me), and turn my wrists funny for alignment with handguns. For some reason, I can't grip with shooting handguns from my non-dominant hand.
@@12ealDealOfficial I got the same problem because my non-dominant eye has nerve damage. Pistols right handed and rifles left handed. One suggestion for pistols is turning your head towards the dominant hand and looking down the sights that way but still keeping both eyes open. It allows your dominant eye to still have peripheral vision and you may look a bit dumb with your head turned a bit, BUT it's better grip if you don't have to turn the gun weird
And to the OP, you can get a cold fire(I think that's the name) compressed air adapter to practice the principles in this video with compressed air cycling the slide in your gun instead of bullets.
@@kairu_aname Great suggestion. Have shot much more since the post and started doing this to compensate. Now I shoot everything ambi, but am more proficient left side. A while back I got a nice carry holster that is right side draw, and am too poor to buy the left hand holster.

First time seeing Mojo and he is definitely someone to follow and learn from. Very knowledgeable, professional, and extremely well at what he does hands down. Great job bringing him on and giving him the mic! Accurate and fast!
Mojo- runs 10 rounds in like 1 second. Mojo- I messed up my reload
16:15 the fact he messed up and still got an amazing reload is scary.
I was looking for a comment like that. I'm slow and smooth so I don't fumble like that. But he fumbled, fixed, shot, and holstered before I would have the second mag in. Made me realize that my dropleg velcro mag pouch isn't the brilliant idea I thought it was.
Dude. I absolutely love this content. I've learned so much from just 2 videos with You and Mojo. I'm a shooter. I've been handling firearms since I was 8 years old (now in my early 40's) and I must say I've learned a great deal from these 2 videos. Keep up the great content Brother. Salute.
This was super interesting and gave me a number of things to think about. I’m no pro and barely an amateur, but becoming a better shooter is a joy to pursue and I really appreciate the energy and attitude from these guys. Appreciate your effort with videos like this, guys.
The air force liaison personality was shining through a little bit sir
This was hands down the best video on shooting and recoil mitigation I've ever seen. Thank you so much.

Sean is executing the frat boy tactical look perfectly. The patterned pants coordinated with the holster and ear pro is off the chain.
Mojo is a legend at communicating. That is not easy to do as fluent as he is. What an awesome video taken in one recording.
This was insanely informative. Learned way more in this video than I would have at the range by myself

Some of the best advice and instruction I have seen on RUclips. Great to hear your explanation of Nature Point of Aim.
That was one of the hardest things for me to master as a young Marine. Once I got taught the real deal my light came on. I always shot perfect in my rapid fire drills as that NPof A is critical for that Rifle landing on target.

9mm is so expensive right now that I'm practicing with airsoft, so my recoil control is epic.

After mojo was done with the ak mike should of handed him a sig mag and said “do the thing”
Wow I just learned a lot from Mojo in this one video than my entire time in the military lol. Such an awesome instructor and very sound advice that I will be practicing from now on. It’s insane how much he can control that recoil to the point where it doesn’t even look like he is tracking up in the slightest bit.
I renember my furst shotgun.
I remember putting the back of my shoulder against tree to take the recoil.
I remember my dad warning me not do that.
I remember pain...
Same thing happened to my buddy
Convinced a buddy to do this. Luckily his shoulder hurt to much for him to fire another round.
Should have put the stock directly on the tree.
Told my younger bro to leave about an inch between him and the stock of a 12ga when he shot it for the first time . He remembers pain.

Best video to date.... the cop guy, amazing best I've ever heard, he's not full of himself, and no ego I could listen to this guy all day!
Milspec mojo
Mojo as a guest gets an immediate like before the video even starts.
@@12ealDealOfficial
I got the same problem because my non-dominant eye has nerve damage.
You can try eye dominance much easier than hand dominance.
Just going to put this out there that I never want to get into a gun fight with MOJO. His grouping was stupid tight, 2 holes and he shot 10 bullets in all of 2 seconds. You are my new hero bro, hats off to your disapline.

This was genuinely extremely helpful. I carry a handgun for work, and we requal every six months, but this has almost been better for me than the time I spent on course. Picked up my handgun and started applying principles while I watched. INSTANTLY BETTER. That whole natural pointing by closing your eyes thing: super good! Thank you.
MoJo does such a good job of explaining things and Garand thumb makes sure that we the viewers, get the proper view angle or clarification when needed. You really can't get better instructional/shooting tips, etc. videos on line then these. Thank You!
I’ve come back to watch this video a half dozen times and I’m always picking up something new that I didn’t the previous times.
18:50 - Mojo basically gives away his secret
I’ve watched that part of the video so many times before and it’s only making sense now. But now that the principles of what he is saying is clicking with me, and it makes a huge difference in practice!

fellas: word of advice, get you a girl who looks at you the way Mojo looks at Papa
I remember the first gun I ever shot when I was 10 was an old 1940s era featherweight 12 gauge loaded with slug rounds. I had bruises all over my shoulder. Guess it taught me to learn the proper way to control recoil
My first was a .308 I think I was like 8 that then really got me into guns
Oof, that gun kicks like hell.
Papa thumb likes having guests that make him feel tall.
Great video! 1 only a grunt would have a chick tat on his arm. 2 only a grunt would have the best camo head to toe for a range day. 3 Mojo makes me laugh and he is the cop that I want to show up at my house if 911 was called.
What's that camo pattern called?
"it's not hot, not hot at all."
"ok, It's hot."
