Saw them in Corpus Christi in the mid 80's. Checking back in. Yes, Anthrax is sounding as good as ever. I will be 79 years old this month and will blast their CD very loud as I am sort of deaf these days.

As I was listening to it earlier a mockingbird was keeping fucking time with the entire song in the cedar tree behind where I was sitting on the front porch. What I love about Anthrax is that even though they switched to grunge for a little while, they still made it sound good with a new singer and made one of their best albums. They also pretty much started Nu Metal with I’m the Man and Bring Tha Noise. If my 50s white catholic mom straight from Iowa can mosh to Anthrax, I think I know what I’m talking about.
The John Bush Years were great, I love every single one of those records, even as a nearly 50 year old fan from the Among The Living days, I have a raw feeling about the band around that split. For all the shit " true fans" give John Bush, those fuck ups couldn't keep their shit together and the band broke up, they brought in a fucking strong singer in Bush and put out a bunch of great records, and the band evolved and didn't turn into a self caricature festival shitshow doing greatest hits with a fill in singer. Love it or hate it, this was a period in the bands history and I happen to love it. Doesn't replace Among The Living as one of the greatest metal albums of all time but I still enjoy them all.

I don't think I'd call it the most underrated, but it is somewhat underrated. It's a solid album if a bit of a repeat. It never did deserve the harsh criticism that it received. I'd give it an 8/10. There are some real strong heavyweights on that frisbee.

Under appreciated song from an under appreciated album. One of my favorite albums, and I don’t even consider myself an Anthrax fan.
"Under appreciated"? It's one of their most famous songs! 🤦♂️ Stop using clichés for the sake of it... you're not even a fan so you won't know their next albums with John were practically ignored, *those* are under appreciated...
If I had to pick just one Anthrax song to listen to for the rest of my life this would be it. The Bush Era was a glorious time indeed.
