- Typically, in a gym set-up, an individual uses multi-set, multi-rep workout programs. But there is an alternative to this traditional approach of working out. It is called as the German Volume Training or GVT.
GVT was created in the mid-70s in Germany by the national weightlifting coach. It was also known as the 10-set method and was used by the off-season weightlifters to gain lean body mass and shed unnecessary body fat. Weightlifters would commonly move up an entire weight class in 12 weeks due to the shear effectiveness of this program.
Way back in 1996, a Canadian strength coach named “Charles Poliquin” introduced the GVT to the modern American bodybuilding audience. This ebook will give you the complete story and the technical know-how on how to incorporate basic and advanced GVT in your workouts.

I started watching your channel yesterday, and started running today. You sir, are really a huge inspiration. Thank you for creating this channel, especially in today's time when even spiritual gurus know everything about health a diet and what not! I really needed advice from someone who is in this field and knows what he is speaking about. I hope I can maintain this habit of running everyday. Will start doing push-ups, pull-ups, and squats from tomorrow along with running. I have become much weaker in the last 12 years after I stopped playing football. I hope to regain my strength and fitness again through exercise. Thanks a lot once again!

GVT is a very advanced thing. But i was a beginner that started doing GVT after 4 months of heavy training and i was a great responder to GVT. I did it the right way and noticed a lot of gains. I gained 17 pounds of muscles and my pr of bench press went from 225 pounds to 265 pounds. I had never seen these results in the past 4 months. I wouldn't recommend this to everyone because it is mentally hard and it kinda depends on how the person responds to it. I only did 1 more change and that was i included GVT in skull crushers too and i saw impossible growth in my triceps.

i included gvt in my chest sessions and the results are remarkable. no other workouts were as effective as gvt. will soon be implementing for leg sessions also.

Start by a normal bro-split (single body part) a day for 8-9 weeks to strengthen your body parts then go for any of these advanced programs

GVT is meant to gain size using compound movements. GVT does not promote any *FAT LOSS* Fat loss completely depends on your calorie intake and right kind of nutrition.

Recently I've incorporated 1 day of HIIT in my training sessions and my trainer asked me to do 10 sets of 10rep burpees. does it work the same way for fatloss?
It's just one way of working out
There are millions of workouts u can design
Burpees 20 sec and rest 10 sec do for 10 min after your work out as finisher exercise ✌
