Did it earlier this week because it Rained last week . . . * I noticed that you went Backwards: + lets you see the Spacing - slower - risk of falling if you have curb, stairs, etc * if you go Forwards - you can develop approximate spacing + you can keep your foot on the stirrup + and you can move 1.5x to 2.0x the speed * I don’t fill the holes because it + allows air and + water penetration (deeper, less run-off) ** I especially concentrated along the curb, driveway, sidewalk and stairs - Concrete Contractors are notorious for leaving extra debris - and rinse-off their truck’s chute when done (you can hear and feel those places)
I painfully watched. I did this with the same aerator two seasons ago and it worked well. The downside was it took 4 hours to do my 1800 sq ft lawn. I did it for the workout too. 🤦🏻♂👍🏻💚🦸🏻

We have had tons of rain so it made this easier and I was surprised at how little the times clogged up.
Needs more Sunday on that lawn.

I’ve never been able to keep mine from clogging up as soon as it hits the soil. It must be that Knoxville “black dirt” ya’ll have over there.
