I'm following this on reddit, there hasnt been an update since the funeral ❤ the OP is trying to reply to ask many comments as she can, picking up on bits & in an indirect way OP has "confirmed" Luke & Amy are half siblings, and I'm sure I read on another comment that she is going to have to go public with this information...not quite sure who or why, it was hinted this will be revealed in the next update 😊 if i see another update i will try and tag ❤
Omg THANK YOU! I was wondering if they were half siblings?! It was the only thing that made sense. It also explained to me why they didn't freak out when they heard it was possible for their own children (half siblings) to love on one another. They should've nipped that in the bud...unless they too condoned it in a way. Incest, I don't get it!

If you go and read the comments on the latest update, OP basically indirectly confirms that Luke and Amy are half siblings and the product of Jim having an affair, hence why they don't want it to go to court, and hence why they didn't seem that miffed about incest

@@Human-kb6xc my ADHD train of thought is telling me MIL found out that not only is the kid her sons child, but that Amy is FILs affair child making the children products of incest. Causing the FIL to have a heart attack because she confronted him and found out he knew and (like at the start) was just hoping to bury his head in the sand and pretend his two biological children hadn’t gone on to knowingly make kids. Because I also feel that the FIL told them when they were younger which is why they cannot marry. Because incest between siblings is illegal

@francesca1687 that would explain so much, why Jim was so insistent they couldn't be having an affair, or even why Luke and Amy didn't start dating and get married themselves. Or even why they were relatively mellow about the prospect of the kids dating. It's not like that stopped them.

OP indirectly confirms in the comments of the last update that Jim and Amy are half siblings. Can't be 100% sure, but that's the most likely outcome
