    Thank you for this! I was able to change mine thanks to this video and others. I paid $12.99 for the sensor itself and would have paid a garage over $400.
    On a side note, I called around and Auto Zone and Advanced Auto parts had the sensor for around $70-$100. A&A Auto had it for $12.99.
    I’m so grateful for videos like these.

    Currently running this code on my ‘16 SE, as a young woman I’m glad I saw this video. Now I know the labor shouldn’t be sky high if it can be done under 10 mins 👏🏾👏🏾 good looking out!

    Thanks for the video! The part number is 39180-2B000. I just did it on a 2013 GT. The design engineers should be made work on cars for a year to see how their designs affect the servicing of the vehicles. Man, the connector was a pain to remove from the metal guide. Also the lock tab. Laying on your back under the vehicle and trying to fit pliers in that tight tight space was a pain. If the engine compartment was 5 inches longer everything would have been so much more accessible. I dread they day when I have to work on the intake manifold at the back side of the engine...

      how did you get the connector off?, mine is being a bastard

    • @valentingeorgiev5001
      @valentingeorgiev5001 6 месяцев назад

      @@kerdum it was a long time ago so don't remember exactly. Don't have the vehicle anymore. I think I used long pliers to push the tab in order to pull the connector out. Lots of frustration and bad words were involved.

    Literally took me 5 hours to do this 😂 it's such a tight space, and I could not get that stupid plastic clip off. Then I couldn't get the connector end off of the metal guide. I had to do that last part from above the car. But it's changed out and good as new now!😁

      @@stevencovington9508 ... long crank time, but also a code. However, the price range was really wide $16 -- $100++. I made the mistake of going withe the cheapest one. Don't do that!!! Also the most difficult part was unlocking the wire lock.

    I miss just the plain old distributor shaft. Always worked, always.
    Modern day cars could leave the points and condenser out of course. It would make a perfect easily accessible no fail crankshaft position indicator.

    For those doing this replacement, putting the car on ramps is much safer than jackstands. Then, if you remove the splash shield, which is very easy and fast to do, it makes it much easier to get the connector apart and off and back onto the post. Mando is the OE supplier of the sensor, and many parts supply houses carry this brand.

On the road the rpm gauge goes back to 0 and sometimes on the red lights the engine shuts off. Its so embarrassing when you have a line up of vehicles at your back and you cant even start your car. Much appreciate your help.

      @@Kyounaso there was several problems with just sensors. Glad I bought fixd OBD scanner. Got it for 20 bucks online from their website. It saved me more than $800. I bought the sensors for $20 - 160 changed all of them and now it runs like a butter. That fixd device will scan all the errors and will let you know where the fault is and you just replace that part and you are done!
