Idk how those dumbbells are called, but from a while I've been working out with 2kg and I feel that I need to increase to 3kg to feel the work more. So, yes, I think you can start with the weight you feel comfortable and then increase with time ✨
Hi:) I think it's because you have weak core or lower back. So try to round your back like a cat pose (engage your abs and scoop your tummy) while doing dead lift pulses.
