Joyce . I have been listening to your video everyday for the last 30 days . They are very effective and I wanted to say thank you . I am very motivated to learn fluent Chinese. And want to achieve it in 6 months . I have committed to two hours of listening to your videos per day .
Dear William, I'm so glad that you've been learning this course for a long time. We're now made it a more structured course with more content, not only with my teaching video, but also quiz, audios of different speakers, Chinese writing and additional culture elements. If you like to learn Chinese systematically and make a very solid foundation on the internet, welcome you to purchase my upgraded course from this site.www.everydaychinese.com/everyday-chinese-101/? The course content has been even upgraded. We do appreciate your nice supports and we are motivated to make more professional videos in the future:) 谢谢!- Greeting from Joyce
I like the way you teach, Joyce. The explanation is so details. You speak slowly and clearly. Make it easy to understand. I have finished your lesson 1 to 39 (day 1 to 39). I wonder if you had lesson 40 and so on. For me it is easier if you tittle your lesson with day number, so it is easier to learn step by step , from the beginning than gradually to more complex material,, rather than jumping randomly to any lesson. 😂

goood morning EVERYDAY CHINESE !!!!! I enjoy studying every morning and evening these lessons you Created!THank you so much!!!! by the way, I would like More videos with Only Chinese Dialogues and different voices ! because I can repeat again and again to practice more usually! Could you please make these types of video after some Lessons? Like you make REVIEW of lesson ?
Very well explained! I have been learning Chinese with Duolingo and have often wondered about the three forms that until now seem more or less interchangeable. I now know the correct usage. Xie xie ni!
Hello teacher, I am a new chinese student . I am also cambodian. I would like to ask you a question what the diffrent between 厕所,洗手间, and 卫生间? Please kindly explain in english. thank in advance .
Hi你好, 厕所 is the equivalent to toilet, and 洗手间&卫生间 means washroom and restroom. In mainland China, you can use these 3 words interchangeably and you will hear people use them according to their preference of speaking. I personally use 洗手间 more and it may sound a bit more polite to use 洗手间 or 卫生间 if you are looking for a washroom/toilet/restroom in a bit fancy and formal place, like in a hotel. Hope this helps:)
Thanks teacher for your lessons. I am confused about the sound of some words with "zh", "ch", "q". Could you please answer me? Sometimes I hear people and you pronounce the word eat "chi" like "zhi", but sometimes different. I also have the same feeling for "q" and "zh" because sometimes I hear you guys pronounce like "x". Thanks again teacher.
Hi. I would like to ask a question. You want me to do this work? Here I can use Xiang or yao? Bcoz, in our daily conversation we always use, "you want me......... " or "I want you..... ". Thanks
You want me to do this work? - 你[要]我做这种事儿?or 你[想让]我做这种事吗?Both are OK. But here 要 is for commands with imperative mood, while 想让 is more polite and modest. E.g. I want you to go with me!!! 我要你跟我一起去!!!(strongly command) I want you to go with me, please. 我想(让)你跟我一起去,可以吗?(in polite) and 让 can be omitted in most cases. Hope this will help you.
I hope i can speak Chinese Mandarin well.amah speak taige so that i little bit confused the pronounce and not the same way to explain the word bu iyang
If I also want something, like when saying: 1 - 'Ma ma, ni xiang he shenme?' 2 - 'Wo xiang he Ka fei, ni ne?' Can i answer: 1 ' Wo ye xiang he Ka fei' ? And sorry about the words without tones, I don't know where they are on my keyboard. 😭
