能(néng): An ability which one doesn't need to learn to acquire 不能(bù néng)：It indicates that the temporary condition doesn't allow you to do it, but you can recover this ability afterwards.
会(huì): A skill obtained by a learning process.
不会(bú huì): One doesn't possess a certain skill.

I'm a Ugandan from Africa but now in Sanya, Hainan province, China. Few people speak Mandarin in this place. They speak hainanese and it's very difficult. Hope to learn here Mandarin very well
In that situation, you can learn Mandarin by yourself first, and watch TV series, TV shows and that things. Try to find and make some friends who speak Mandarin.
If you just speak Mandarin to them and I am sure they will reply to you in Mandarin too.
There are huge no of Mandarin teaching videos besides this 1
There are also a few Hainan dialect
videos, and larger no for others---
Cantonese, Hokkien, Hakka, Shanghai, Hu (Hok)jiu, Teochew, etc.

tones, like Chinese, etc.? Tou could teach some greetings to Chinese friends, acquaintances, and friendly
strangers. They expect some SE Asians to speak tonal languages,
but not Africans and Native Americans. People would be surprised!!

Im I have to say something. I can’t use lessons that show chinese sentences but then show the english translation in english word order. I need the english translation to be the same word order as the chinese sentence.
This is why I am having so much difficulty learning chinese word order.
It’s not your fault. I know you are trying to explain it clearly but I need the translation to be verbatim to the chinese sentence. I’ll listen to it all the way thru before I decide if I want to watch any more videos. But I had to speak up as soon as you started doing it. Maybe I’m wrong in this but thats what I’m searching for and it’s not easy to find.
Had the same issues then I realized they are just excuses...
Listen over and over...Then practice..The verbertim and arrangement structure of the words will start becoming natural....

Great lesson! Question: Why does the 3rd tone become 4th tone at the end of a sentence? For example at 3:00 hànbăo is pronounced hànbào. Thank you!

I mean *'我能吃辣'* is more like *"I can eat spicy thing(s)'* like it does not specifies spicy what. And then one would be able to treat it just as an adjective and add something alse like 面条 or just actually 菜.
*"我能吃辣的面条。"* or *"我能吃辣的菜。"*
我特别喜欢白酒😁我每次都回去中国我和我的家人一起喝酒！肯定是慢慢喝

Sure, you can use "可以" istead.
