Seriously, nobody presents this delicate yet incredibly important subject like you do. The soothing soundscape and nature shots in this one really amplified the message. Beautiful work Thomas
This is extremely helpful and exactly the kind of advice I needed right now. Thank you so much! Also incredible film & editing, this felt so peaceful and affirmating!
Hey Thomas your videos have been so helpful for my journey through filming myself. Taking on the 30 day film myself talking to camera challenge and I’ll def using your tips through this process. I’m always looking for ways to improve and your content has been my go to. Appreciate what you’re doing!
- [00:34] 🎥 Feeling like you're just mouthing words without authenticity on camera can be frustrating, but breaking out of presenter mode is possible. - [01:33] 😄 Infuse humor into your content to make yourself laugh and connect with your audience more authentically. - [04:37] 💡 Talk about topics that genuinely excite you to bring more passion and authenticity to your content. - [07:47] ❤ Connect with your emotions by doing a breathing exercise before filming and envisioning your audience to speak from the heart.
Thank you for this. Normally I do tutorials in stained- or fused glass, then my attention is with what I do all the time and explaining as I go along. I’m in the process of making my first travel vlog (convinced by my daughter) and all of a sudden I’m out of my comfort zone. This video of yours will definitely help
Glad to see these videos, Thomas. Thank you. They help me create more authentic videos - too often I'm focused on delivering the lesson instead of being myself and connecting with the viewer.
Glad to see your back with more videos, Thomas! Really enjoying these ones on speaking to a camera, trying to improve this skill on my own RUclips channel right now :) Thanks!!
Thank you for your vulnerability and practical tips. I found this video because my cousin was encouraging me to be more of my authentic self on camera. I realised I’ve been in “presenter” mode. Beautiful video.✨
I just came across your videos and it made me want to try talking to my camera for 30 days. even if i never post it. just to see what I can do differently and build comfort speaking
A great example of self-amusement anyone could check out is Alan Watts! He's also just one of the wisest men to have ever spoken in front of groups of people. Changed my life many times over!
Absolutely beautiful explanation and tips (that word undermines the depth of what you just said!). I’m about to transition from talking to my gopro whilst doing what I LOVE (running) to my friends on IG to interviewing and creating videos for the engineering community and this video is PERFECT. So helpful; thank you. 🙏😊
Thanks Thomas awesome video I learned something new. I feel that this is one thing that will make us different from others and be successful on these platforms. Greetings: Francisco
I want to say a big THANK YOU Thomas Alex Norman. Your video, this one taught me to be authentic in my first RUclips Video. Today I launched my first RUclips channel and video in my life!!!! I made my first video without ANY editing to be authentic. Your channel is inspiring!!! Btw I have mentioned your name in my video. Sorry it's a Cantonese video but I did say your name in English there 😆
I am that annoying trying to be a presenter person so thanks for this. 🤗 I want to add too that Daily Vloggers do seem better at this as they don’t think so much about what they are saying to get a video out, therefore coming over more natural.
No one else on RUclips explains things on camera or filmmaking the way you do..thanks for coming back..
Appreciate that man thank you
Thank you Thomas, I can relate to you ..😊

Sad to say no one watches quality videos. Everyone watches all the cringe videos. Which is destroying their brain 😅
