The cop seriously just said it’s illegal to take photos of an accident scene? End qualified immunity NOW!!!
It’s Texas. It will never happen.
Well established law that photography of government officials in performance of their duty. Well established law 10 ft is the min distance you have to be. Qualified immunity does not apply in this instance.
Something else that should end is those thugs freedom.
Thought they said they were in Florida
Go end it
30 years on the force and still only one rank above the station cat . And it shows
At least the cat has mice under its control, this ass wipe only has the pile of shit he's dropped thinking about getting charged and jailed.
Which he deserves, but no doubt the blue line club will sweep it under the carpet.
🤣🤣🤣🇬🇧
🤣🤣🤣 the station cat
The smartest thing the cop did was call for a supervisor, the dumbest thing he did was not wait for that supervisor!
"It's illegal to take pictures of license plates"
"According to you, I'm breaking the law. If that isn't a lie, arrest me for that offense right now."
The best part? The lady over the cops left shoulder is taking pictures. The questions in that deposition will be epic! “Officer, if taking pictures is illegal, why didn’t you also arrest the lady?”
The bald office don't know the law, and also doesn't follow his policy on covering his gang tattoos
@Chad W on cruise control until they get their pensions.
Cop: "Taking pictures of peoples' vehicles and license plates is against the law."
I call your bluff, Officer; either arrest me for "illegally photographing license plates"... *or admit you're wrong/lying.*
How can you even question if the suspension is with or without pay?
We all know damn well, they cop is getting a paid vacation on the taxpayers dime.
He clearly assaulted and battered that guy, which should result in loss of qualified immunity, termination and a criminal charge.
Robo Cop, "This accident scene is done.". Attacker, " leave our accident scene!". Legally allowed to lie.
They are allowed to lie during an investigation or to gain compliance....
@@reelsoffortuneslotsplay4267 and that is exactly why you have the right to remain silent and are not legally obligated to answer their questions under any circumstances. No man or woman has the power to compel any other man or woman to speak or to not speak. Love the lady behind the cop on right taking pics/video 🤦🏻♀️
Exactly
She was the "correct" color/race - Don't normally go straight there but when its this obvious you have to call it out.
the irony 😂
The whole time they were trying to intimidate this guy to move there was another citizen (female) with a camera phone and coffee on the easement filming as well. No one went and told her to move.
These cops are disgusting human beings.
I find it incredibly hysterically funny when a cop says it’s illegal to take pictures of license plates considering they do it all day every day
But dont you know? They’re sovereign citizens, the laws don’t apply to them
“You’re taking pictures of license plates”? As the cop glances at his patrol car with the plate reader. 😂😂😂
Has the cop never heard of dashcams before?
@@jessec1858 he's never heard of words before, he keeps his head in his ass for safekeeping and possible use someday, but we know that'll never happen.
Unbelievably stupid
Qualified immunity needs to be abolished immediately
Remove qualified immunity and watch how fast these tyrants behave properly
@James G As does Frazier v Cupp
The LEO in Colorado have already learned not to violate people's rights or there pay and possibly their pensions are liable to be attached to the lawsuit.
Still ...they will probably find some other way to get around it
AGREE 100%
No, Terry v Ohio needs to be overturned.
2:10 The SCOTUS has granted law enforcement the authority to lie to citizens but have made it illegal for citizens to lie to law enforcement! Never lie to an LEO !
"End Qualified Immunity" = "End the purposely laziness of cops who are uninterested in learning the law"
This wasn’t their “accident scene” it’s a public easement. They literally said in the midst of the argument the accident was over. This was ,once again , cops on a power trip because someone didn’t bow down to their imaginary AUTHORITAAAY (Cartman voice)
All ego with those cops.
By law it was still accident scene . Cop gone be fine suspension with pay is free holiday .

@@axa897 the scene wasn't on the easement...🤣🤦♂️
He broke no laws.
What those cops did was completely outside the color of law.
Both the department and the individual officers can be sued.
Once again, we see that the issue is authoritarianism... Officers get triggered when citizens do not lick their boots.....They can not handle a citizen exercising their rights....
If memory serves...The Battousai has provided numerous Texas gendarmes with some motivational seminars that have proved rather expensive for whatever bustling metropolis they were working for...and hopefully Turner vs Driver catches up to these two...
E G O
There’s already a term for what you called “authoritarianism”. Which is called contempt of cop.
@@stephenmartinez1 I agree that the terms are similar in meaning, application, and effect... I am seeing an opportunity for authoritative officers to separate themselves from authoritarian police behavior....Especially when a citizen is exercising a constitutionally protected right such as remaining silent, refusing to allow a search, or collecting information or recording from a place they are legally allowed to be...Unfortunately, I see police policies that allow it and prosecutors who act on the complaints by the officers....
@@stephenmartinez1 BTW.. What I am truly hoping for is a change in police culture where authoritative officers outnumber the officers who tend to respond in a more authoritarian way... Simply put... I think when a certain number of contempt of cop charges are levied, it needs to trigger some type of watch list or report to command staff.. The reason for this is that the officers who tend to cause lawsuits also tend to get into multiple lawsuits (repeat offenders, frequent flyers)
Those guys, especially that one cop had no idea what they were doing. To the point of absurdity. That's why Reyes could get in a fight and hurt the officer and still not be charged. That cop had absolutely no leg to stand on.
Love how that cowardly tyrant keeps turning to his buddy Mendoza for help when he's out of his depth. I think a spokesperson said that cop was on leave WITH pay. Unbelievable.
Mendoza clearly said the event was over, so it's no longer a scene. The vehicle's being removed so there's no further investigation in relation to physical evidence that could be disturbed, removed, or contaminated... Plus where he was standing wasn't taped off so that area wasn't a "scene" anyway.
@@John.Flower.Productions You mean he was where pedestrains should be so as not to be in the road, in the place where people can freely walk and stand at any time. The public easement is open to anyone and everyone and is public land for use as foot traffic in the same way as the road is for vehicle traffic.
Do you honestly believe the cops thought dashcams are illegal? If not, then they were lying by claiming recording of plates is illegal and their intent was to violate him.
Had he moved further away from the road he could then potentially be beyond public land and on private property. At which point it would be easy to imagine that these 2 would suddenly claim he was commiting a crime by trespassing (they'd have more reason and evidence than they did when they beat him up for no crime at all).
Your grasp of reality is so weak that you shouldn't even begin to pretend to grasp the law.
The Supreme Court has ruled that a person can film whatever they can see with their own eyes while in public. The Supreme Court has also ruled that a person has no reasonable expectation of privacy when they are in public. Instead of going to the gun range, many cops need to go to the law library and learn which laws they can enforce and which ones they can’t.
It would be so refreshing to see cops who actually know the law
Police Officer Statements: “This accident is over.” and then 15 seconds later “You’re on our scene.”
I noticed that as well.... I am sure that the attorneys who present this case civilly will notice it as well
Ahhh the infamous “contempt of cop” beating and arrest.
I applaud this man for having the courage to step up to these police officers and not back down. Officers are very scared because they’re losing their power over citizens. This right here shows that the police department and lawsuits against police are making a difference.
The fact that this cop turned a truck being towed into trips to the hospital only underscores why that man has absolutely no business being in law enforcement. He just proved why he's a danger to the community and a liability to that city. It's absolutely baffling and mind-boggling how that individual was ever certified as a police officer.
2:57 the certification on his right ring finger is all that is needed in USA!USA!
Cops think they own everything. "This is my scene." "This is my police department." "This is my police car."
the man is his boss
That is one of the reasons you'll almost never hear the cop use the word public property. They always say "police property, city property, state property or federal property", hoping the citizen will not understand it is publicly owned and thus leaves/obays the ofc.
When you say it that way, it does make them sound as though they are entitled.... After all... It is theirs....
@@reelsoffortuneslotsplay4267 it's also my police station, my police car, my public official.
@@zacharykolbe161 You probably think that because you pay taxes and think they are supposed to serve and protect you but... OK... Maybe, you have something there.... :-)
I just love how the cops walked past someone who was actually standing inside of the accident scene and another lady who was much closer recording with her cell phone to approach Mr Reyez
@Pink
One of them was likely the complainer who got the cop to violate the man's rights.

I think they may have been owners of the cars involved in the accident.
That lady was wandering around, sprinkling crack, entering the police vehicle, jaywalking on the grass…not really …but how would they know? Cops tend to have little control over their emotions and are prone to hysterics. They could give a shit about crime, they care about collars and revenue.
That cop’s HYPOCRISY is almost as sickening as his immediate violent reaction…
I love that, “what are you gunna do if I don’t stop?”
The bald cop kept saying "This is my scene". The helmeted cop said 'It's been cleared". Then baldy did the assault. He needs to spend a few hours next to his HOMIES behind bars.
Why are the laws on public photography kept as such a secret from the police??? Or is it that the police are incapable of comprehending them?? Truly confusing…
The latter…cops typically aren’t the brightest, education doesn’t stifle ego and power lust

Then after the law suit is settled, by tax payer dollars, he'll go out and do it all over again, never having to pay a cent out of his pocket....
You have to put these d.a.'s in the ground to teach one's like that. When a public servant forgets their a public SERVANT they are no longer a public servant and have zero authority that that particular p.s. would have.

Love the updates on your channel, so many just leave you hanging.
You could see the anger flare up in that cops face.
They never cease to amaze at how bad they fail every single time. His ignorance started with the whole “taking pictures of peoples license plates is illegal” then escalated to a blatant, felonious attack and ended with the officer claiming that he was injured so that they could add charges for those injuries, against you.
This should be a slam dunk for internal affairs as well as any civil rights attorney.
How do they not understand why the public hates them?
But finding one to to do it is the issue 😕
They do know why the public hates them. They just do not care. They are sadistic. They enjoy watching other people suffer. They do no care if they ruin people's lives. If they feel you are "disrespecting" them...they will, even when being filmed, try and circumvent citizens rights. It is an ego issue. It is blatant abuse of authority. Blatant sadistic behavior. All because they are going to "Show you who is in charge". Regardless of citizens Rights.
Why? Just why? I'm honestly at a loss of understanding what goes through these cops' minds when they do this crap. I mean, do they think it makes them look good? Tough, maybe? All I see are scared, weak, impotent bullies.
What goes through their heads is this:
1. I have qualified immunity, so he won't be able to sue me.
2. My fellow cops will always support what I've done because of our thin blue line code.
3. If all else fails, the FOP has million dollar lawyers who will get me out of trouble.
They have literally nothing to lose, and they know it.
End qualified immunity.

That is a slam dunk lawsuit for Mr Reyes indeed!
Jesus man. These cops are out of line. I'm sorry for your experiences Mr. Reyes.
Should be easy to find a lawyer to represent him.
He has documented medical reports of his injuries. He has the cop on video stating ‘it’s illegal to take pictures of cars & plates’. But mostly he has video of the helmet cop stating ‘the accident investigation was over’.
Assault on a police officer? Cop went to hospital by ambulance?
So now the cops are charging us because they hurt their fist punching us?
Next the departments will send a bill to the families of the people the murder, seeking compensation for the cost of the bullets they used to murder the victim.
It’s really too bad. The helmet cop appeared as if he would have behaved himself. But instead he chose to be influenced by the older cop.
This is a true depiction of today’s law enforcement. 1 decent cop & 1 bad cop. The problem is that because of thin blue line gang mentality, it’s the bad that wins out influencing the good.
Even if it was 1 bad & 10 good, that 1 bad is the deciding influencer.
*Shown in the incident with the out of control senior cop that the female cop tried to prevent from harming a detained suspect. The senior cop attacked her choking her, while the other cops did nothing to protect her.
*Which also resembles heroic Ofc Carol. She dove on her suspect to prevent her partner from continuing to choke the suspect. Ofc Carol was fired and disgraced for many years. Only recently getting justice.
*and of course the Chauvin/Floyd fiasco.
Not 1 of those clowns attempted to stop Chauvin from killing Mr Floyd.
The idea of ‘weeding out’ bad cops? Too late! It’s time to use roundup and spray the whole crop. Start by dismantling the thin blue line gang. Serious penalties for any cop that displays that gang symbol while on duty.
Sorry but that was two bad cops. One worse than the other.
I'll bet that the policeman said Mr. Raez threw his face on the policeman's fist!!!! Hahaha
🎯 #EndQualifiedImmunity and watch the magic happen!
Dude, there is no such thing as a good cop. Period.
Actually, it is often extremely difficult to find a competent lawyer who will go against the Blue Line gang. Bar members serve the same master as cops.
Thanks again for educating so many... I Have A Dream! We Shall Overcome... And, as my character in the movie Being There says often, "I like to watch!"
Filthy tyrants need to be held criminally accountable.
You know you’re in trouble when the cop has sleeve tats.

Wouldnt proper protocol be to tell you to turn around your under arrest. Pretty sure they dont just get to tackle a citizen who is not being threatening. Seems like a no brainer lawsuit. But you never know with these corrupt people.
It even looked like that dirty cop's first move was a punch of some sort. He just moved in and punched the poor guy. If a member of the public did something like that to a cop, they would have been arrested for assault and battery. But the cop just gets suspended (probably with pay). Disgusting.
@@XJWill1 the citizen did assault the cop; hit him in the fist with his face it appears. Or something like that, it will all be in the report lol.

Suspended with pay, which is like a few extra days off to golf, go fishing, maybe a weekend getaway. In addition to the 3 weeks paid vacation.
@@Timbrock1000 I read somewhere the cop who assaulted the man resigned before the investigation was over. And the helmet cop was suspended without pay and has to take some training classes.
Back in the 80's, my cousins would ride their bikes to epoxy cars and dummy spike the tires. Years later I was told they were doing this to cops, judges, and city hall employees that were crooked. They were notorious for driving out officials w/in 2 weeks. I was always skeptical of their hooliganism, but after I got beat up by a cop and lied to in court... i understand the peoples reason to fight back.
Even if he wasn't a member of the press it's still a constitutional protected activity when he was out in public he was on a public easement he wasn't interfering in the investigation is taking pictures like he's allowed to do lawfully and honestly the other cop should be fired for listening to the bald-headed SOB that got terminated for his actions he should be terminated as well because he's not just a witness but he's also a antagonizer
Mr. Reyes, in addition to a formal complaint and potential civil suit you might bring against these officers, you should consider swearing out a criminal complaint for assault either with the Sheriff’s Dept or at your local Federal Court. As your arrest was unlawful under color of law, so too would be any physical assault in connection with that arrest. Good luck! ~ John in Ohio

I remember just a year or two ago a sheriff was almost immediately fired for doing this exact same thing.
Officer, show me the law you are quoting. License plates are in the public... So, they are public. Your laziness does not trump my rights.
It's incredulous that in 2022, a police officer would think photography of publicly visible license plates is illegal. Please educate these officers and raise the hiring bar. Beating and detention of a citizen for contempt of cop. Drop to your knees and lick my boots or go to jail.
Taken pictures of license plates is illegal and that city/state property is private property are 2 things I hear a lot come out of the mouth of police officers.
@@librab103 you misspelled police officers, it’s spelled t y r a n t s.
Hmmm, in a lot of states, police scan license plates on a regular basis for no reason at all. They claim they use it to identify stolen cars. However, this information can be cross referenced to determine your comings and goings but citizens can't film in public where they might, in the course of filming, capture license plates? Something is off here.
@@victorlynn1956 It's just cognitive dissonance on the cops' part. The courts have ruled that license plates are public knowledge. If they weren't, running plates would be a violation of your Fourth Amendment rights. Police just decide that it's fine for them but not for the public because they're so used to having privileges that citizens don't--access to automatic weapons, the ability to violate traffic laws with impunity, the ability to commit assault and theft without fear of retribution, etc. Why _wouldn't_ they be the only ones allowed to photograph license plates?
Plates are ordered to be fitted to vehicles in public ,to not display is against the law.
Sort of blows the privacy/ record aspect, straight out the window.......

HE NEEDS WAY MORE THAN THAT .TIME FOR THIS BULL SHIT TO STOP.
Officers go crazy when they find someone who knows the law. Unlawful demands, detainment, ID, battery. They know they can get away with it. When does this BS stop
If it was so *"illegal"* to take pictures of license plates, I think most people would be in jail. 🤷😂😂
what baldy meant was " Mendoza help he's challenging me, I don't know what to do they didn't train us for this"
The supreme court has ruled that officers allowed to lie to us, but we must tell them the truth.
They also ruled that they are allowed to use deceit against us, and made it nearly impossible to claim entrapment when they do.
Those funny moments in life when you realize they have to lie in order to suck their living off the tit.
Did the supreme court cite a law allowing police to lie? If there is no law regarding police telling lies then the court made it up out of thin air and should not be enforceable.
End qualified immunity now bc look how they seem comfortable violating your rights when there's a lady a ways back doing the exact same thing that you were doing. This is pick & choose whether or not to honour the oath these officers took & clearly they could care less about honouring anyone's constitutional rights nor the oath that they took.
Ole Cable is hammered! Look at his eyes!
Mostly he’s completely ignorant of ANY LAWS!
I think the question to ask is who was the woman that tried to have him removed was she one of the cops friends, family, was she a cop herself? Was she a member of the government who is trying to have cops cover up her accident? Makes you wonder…

During the internal investigation or the interview by the plaintiffs civil rights attorney they should ask these police officers if they’ve ever received training on your case turner versus driver I believe or Terry versus Ohio or any of the other civil rights case if they have been instructed or obtained these cases to review then I believe they’re qualified immunity should be abolished as they gnu caselaw they should also sue the ambulance company as they obviously realized the police officer was in deep shit and lied about his injuries and they decided to take the police officer first instead of the citizen sure the police officer could’ve been driven by his cohorts this should be quite a good case for any good civil rights attorney and personal injury attorney

Hard to believe there are still cops who don't know.
In this day and age- it is inconceivable that any cop is this inept, yet here we are. The invention of qualified immunity has created this problem, and it must be abolished.
That’s the problem. They aren’t inept. They don’t actually think it’s illegal. They don’t care and are empowered by their badge to do whatever the hell they want. It’s intentional criminal behavior committed by criminals.
"It is inconceivable!"
