- I'm a Video Journalist and Civil Rights Activist who records and covers general police encounters. With the help my attorney Kervyn Altaffer Jr, we filed a lawsuit in Federal Court called Turner v Driver. This case established the right to film the police and government officials in the course of their duties on Feb. 16, 2017 in the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals which covers Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.

Best auditor hands down. Doesn't get angry, if he feels the need to comply even though they're violating his rights, he shuts up, then just sues. Great example for the rest.
And setting U.S. 5th circuit Appeals Court case law. No one in this circuit can be granted qualified immunity ever again for violating someone’s rights if they’re filming police.

The silent treatment is probably the most effective tactic in your toolkit. It allows the cops to show their lack of knowledge and their contempt of citizens, unadorned by any input from you. More please.

Easily the best auditor out there. He knows how to stay quite, he's very respectful and most importantly HE FOLLOWS THROUGH with complaints and lawsuits.

We need to physically punish these cowards. They choose to go rogue. Not only that, but he declared that he knew the policy and not only defied it, but he mocked the law, knowing that he was doing so with an indisputable record of his crime and his hatred of the citizenry and the law. What could be more rotten? At minimum, he should be held over a weekend in cuffs, fined and demoted. As to the rotund lawyer: Try telling a cop about how you are "just human" when he is at your throat.

Turner versus Driver was the lawsuit in the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth District. Mr. Turner won and officer Driver lost. Th decision is case law and can be used across the country. Imagine you are a cop, and you have a case with your name on it. And the case is used against cops nationwide. Yes, officer Driver you are famous in courtrooms from coast to coast.

Phillip Turner was right and Officer Driver was wrong. Officer Driver’s low intelligence and horrible ego cost his agency a lot of money and major embarrassment. Officer Driver will forever be known as a subpar law enforcement officer with a poor attitude. I like to take every opportunity possible to post this online so that it will yield even more returns any time someone searches his name or for examples of egregious civil rights violations.
Unfortunately it doesn’t apply across the whole country. Just Texas, Louisiana and most of Mississippi.

I was Illegally Shot with a Taser, Aggravated Assault, Fourth amendment Violation, Bloomingrove PA State Troopers that committed theft, false arrest, false imprisonment. Illegally held in jail on bogus charges "that were proven false last year" . All initial Probable Cause Charges were proven false, therefore all charges stemming from it must be dismissed by Law Mandate, which is not the case here. They Held Me in the county jail until My Nephew had posted My Bail. A $30,000 bond. While My Mother went on hospice and died Feb 15-March20,2019 died while I was illegally arrested and held all in a violation of both State and Our Constitutional Law Mandates.

You have always been my favorite auditor! You know your business, you're courteous, you don't yell and cuss and call the officers names. And when your rights have been violated, you take these people to task! So many people just scream at the cops, and act like fools. It's cringe worthy. They may be doing some good, but it's so trashy I can't watch it. Keep up the fantastic work!

Taxpayers end up paying for these lawsuits. Law Enforcemen, Judges, DAs and other public officials guilty of gross negligence resulting in a lost lawsuit should be be personally liable

By far the best auditor. He knows how to remain silent. When he does talk it serves only to let them dig their own grave. He also doesn't let them lead him into incriminating himself with their questions.

Too many auditors are confronted, violated, and released, never following up, legally holding the violator's accountable. That you do, staying calm and collected the whole time, speaks volumes to your character. You are a credit to the entire country and I, for one, thank you for what you do.

@@SABOARITI Depends on the lawyer. Plenty of lawyers out there recognize what's happening in this country re: law enforcement. Plenty of lawyers willing to take their 30-40% cut of a settlement from whatever city, particularly if there's video evidence.

I’ve seen so many of what I thought were great auditors but damn this guy is certainly at the very top from any auditor channel I’ve ever seen. So satisfying that he actually follows through with lawsuits and win.

Not true plenty Auditor's think about suing then you realize it's just the fact of most of them end up accepting the settlements which usually come with a gag order so you don't hear about them

It’s amazing that so many Police officers are either so ignorant of the constitutional rights that they are supposed to be protecting or have just gotten so used to willfully violating the average Americans rights that they actually get angry when they come upon a citizen who actually knows their constitutional rights and the laws that are designed to protect those rights.
It’s tragic and easy to see how so many of these officers come across as insecure and disrespectful little boys, who never grew up, and by way of a gun and a badge they become full of themselves and disrespect the public that their supposed to be serving, and additionally their fellow honorable, respectful and professional brothers in uniform.

I'm just surprised the officers weren't carrying night's sticks to use. This guy was cost us thousands of dollars in tax payer money by taking up the time of dozens of officers, shameful what a person goes through just to try and get money from the government. Its tantamount to extortion.
