At 1:48 into this video, is a prime example of how a police officer will lie to citizens in-order to get citizens to give up their rights. The officer tells this citizen that, by LAW, he must identify his self whenever a police officers ask him too. Mind you, this citizen has not broken any law, nor does the officer suspect him of doing so. The officer then, with complete disregard for the law (which he surly knows), illegally detains this law abiding citizen. Being suspicious - suspicious activity - suspicious person, by itself is NOT Reasonable articulated Suspicion or Probable Cause!! This is why you should NEVER talk to the police!! Unless you know exactly how to exercise your rights and you know and understand the law intimately!

Yessir! I come from a family that's always blindly supported police. It's getting to be impossible now "in this day and age" they are trained wrong from day 1. Them come out with little knowledge of the law and start enforcing their feelings and policies instead of the constitution
If you did nothing wrong you have nothing to hide law enforcement say that all the time so if they don't want to be tape that means they doing something wrong by the logic they go by
They don't give a crap about the public but the public is suppose to be concerned for them. Respect is earned not forced. If you want respect, EARN IT.
Favorite part is when Davis says something to the effect, "You don't ask the questions here. We ask the questions." The blank stares in return when he uses his stern cop voice and gives his stern cop rebuke were priceless, because it is that moment of realization that everyone knows this is consensual, that they have no authority to give orders, and that these guys don't intimidate. Some day gentlemen, cops will finally get that an educated public won't be intimidated. Cops, follow the law. Dave and Phillip, stay classy.
Well Thomas, when cops say, "I ask the questions here", they are actually trying to engage their mutant mind control powers. It only works when you look them in the eyes as they say it. Or, like on Jeopardy, you can answer in the form of a question to reverse the spell; Cop- "Where you coming from?" Battousai- "What is, I don't answer questions? "

They are so desperate to try to gain back some control after their manhood lies on the ground after their threats and intimidation fails. Love this shit.
+John Thomas They actually have to do that because it's all part of the process for them to get their rocks off to the image later on cause if not it doesn't go up.
+John Thomas I always find it funny that they complain so much about being video taped and having pictures taken, but have no problem doing it themselves.
Since he took a picture of him and since the law enforcement officer was on the job he can do a public record request for the photos. Don't mention the law enforcement officer didn't need to take a picture he know who the people are filming is thinks to you tube who made the law enforcement officer famous.
+John Thomas Also when they bark into their shoulder microphones, "suspect not cooperating blah blah..." Looks like they are biting their own shoulder, as if they contracted rabies from their K9 unit, who are considered fellow officers, so bestiality is not a crime in this dog/police incestuous family relationship.
When they ask "what are you doing" my response would be "I initially came to get video of public buildings but now my story is "do the police actually know they laws they claim to enforce." "Now you are my story and everyone on the internet is watching to see how you react."

+Mike Burke He knows exactly what he is doing that's why his lying to the guy, he knows the law and the tricks to get your info, that's why they say silence is Golden.
Actually your required to identify if arrested and or operation of a commercial motor vehicle. A car/ pickup is traveling... Not driving. Secondly. If you hand over a drivers license while operating a car, etc... Your telling officer that your operating said vehicle in a commercial manner. You can identify without having to show ID
It does not matter if you are driving a commercial vehicle or you're personal vehicle if they don't have probable cause or if you are not suspected of committed or about to commit a crime they don't have the legal right to ask you for you're id or for you to identify you're self. They need probable cause. So if the cops stops you the first thing a cop is supposed to do is tell you the reason of the stop, not you're drivers license or insurance. Because if that were the case the cop can just stop anybody simply because his a cop.
Did not know that you have to get permission from the police to take photos of the building what you have paid for I am in the UK It really Sucks that the police don't know Fuck all about the First amendment All the way to the end Total GIMP Shit for BRAINS
@@steverobey711 Agree with the guy above me. Here in US they know but they love having power trips and bullying so they ignore people's rights. Hopefully it's not as bad where you live.
@@TCthaCrisis Hi@TC tha Crisis The police here in the UK Are really fucking paranoid There as been a lot of first amendment Audits getting arrested for filming police stations, buildings of interest The Police Force have a LAW which comes SETION 43 Terrarist law which you get detained for having a camera Over here we call it PINAC photography is not a crime No bad that the police are still milking 9/11 Memo's have been sent to all the police about photography and you can get arrested?????
@@steverobey711 It's unbelievable to hear that. If an American were to be arrested or detained for filming, it's an infringement on their 1st amendment right, and they can pursue a civil lawsuit against the officer who did.
Trooper Davis provided one of the finest "make up the ID rules as you go along" examples ever seen in one of these Texas uploads...went by the 38.02 thing like greased lightning...But luckily, as Mr Battousai found himself detained on one side of the gate, a miracle occurred and he found himself NOT detained on the opposite side of the gate..a true cosmic phenomenon...yep...10 gallon hats....1/2 pint brains... wonder if these guys saw this upload..
Hey David, I love watching your videos. The one thing that I've noticed in other words The singularity I've noticed, is there a lot of bad cops out there I think we would be shocked to know how many were bad and how few were good.
I bet Davis still has no clue of what just happened. He will have learned nothing, that is until someone shows him the video. I won't bet he learns even then.
+Ml Lb Why are you so desperate to discredit the Messenger? Is it because you cannot discredit the message? you must be one of the Cops he s caught in audit breaking the law.
admiral Baily cops enforce the law? Last i checked in all these videos, it seems the problem is the cops inability to enforce the law. By that standard it doesn't very much matter what laws are in effect if the cops can't enforce them properly does it? Think before you type
I actually see the officer's point. "These buildings have sensitive information". Aha, now I get it! I'm just surprised y'all put it on the outside of the buildings where he was photographing. Next time, maybe you guys should keep it on the inside, like in a file drawer or something.
Davis got butt hurt over you not IDing yourselves can you imagine the hemorrhoids he got when they failed to follow you to your car. Maybe you should keep a case of Preparation H to hand out after these audits.
It's just still so amazing to see the utter distain LEO'S had for public photography. Just astonishing. You rocked their world - only 6 years ago... and paved the way for upholding the right of citizens. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
This is one auditor of three that is doing this for real change rather than views. One of my three favorites very professional and I have much respect for him he's the only one that I know that has a law named after him. He's even somewhat of a hero he even refused to give his ID even when they put him in the car. At which point he could be in danger he don't know if any of the cops are racist or had a bad day or anything.
An officer should be disciplined for saying, "when an officer asks you for ID, you have to give it". That is a lie meant to circumvent a citizens rights
"It's even more suspicious that you're asked to ID yourself and you choose not to." Well, sorry, idiot, but the exercise of rights can't contribute to your basis for a detainment or arrest.
2:54 The way he started stuttering when his partner told them they're not detained. After he said they were. Just to reiterate what was already clear. They don't have to id. And they're free to go.
So funny, you had a half-million dollars in cop there and they were completely stumped by a couple cameras. I wonder how safe that makes the people of this county feel? 😀
It makes me feel very safe because the reason they do this is because people sometimes go out and record state or government places and use that footage to learn routes on the ins and outs for an attack or robbery they are trying to do so by stopping these people they know who u are and know if your a danger or not...LOGIC
marlin ewing “your just mad because your probably another dumb ass cop...” *You’re, my good man. Proper grammar will get you far in life. btw, YOU’RE probably another dumb ass citizen.

+Kelly Lynch Detention combined with involuntary movement usually constitutes an arrest requiring PC, but I'm pretty sure there's a bunch of obscure exceptions in caselaw, so who knows how hard it would be to hold them accountable.
I'm going to go out on a limb and guess you wouldn't mind me sharing this, but I'm going to ask anyway because you were nice enough to ask me. Would you object to me putting this interaction into a compilation video?
"Face Palm" After all the training and all of the lawsuits, law enforcement STILL cannot accurately describe or follow the Texas failure to ID law or properly state if you are being detailed.
Diversity in law enforcement is important, but the colour of someone’s skin should not be the only reason to employ them. The first cop needs to go back to packing bags at the supermarket and stop embarrassing the police department.
Don't know about that. He seems to fit right in with that laid back "I'll shoot you in a New York minute" posture. I'm sure the locals just love him and rather you agree or not, sometimes that "good old boy" mentality keeps him on the good side with the waco's (wacko's) down there.
HAHAHA...I find it hilarious that less than a minute after telling you that you ARE detained and restricting your movements (he ordered you to follow him) the other guy says you are not detained and the first guy changes to "If you're not going to give ID then you're free to go." HAHAHA...Again..."I'm asking the questions." Followed by another one of them saying "Can I ask a question?" They don't even listen to each other much less the person they are interrogating.
When the trooper said, "You outside a state police office ...." , THAT should have been the key to your response: "yes, outside, emphasis the word "outside'.
+Texas Eternal Vigilance "only two things come out of Texas boy Steers and queers and I don't see no horns on your head" (officer and a gentleman) I don't think it was a steer he was riding
When they say " we have people in sensitive positions in there " reply , WOW !!!!I. I DIDN'T KNOW THAT TILL YOU TOLD ME !!!! Thanks !!😄😄😄😄😄😄😄🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
hey philip, next time a cop tries to take your pic like that keep your camera right in front of your face like you are looking thru a viewfinder. see how long they would stand there trying before giving up or actually physically try to move your hand/camera.
Awesome video. Keep up the good work. Hopefully one day the cops will realize that they are our servants and they work for us and that threats are unprofessional and rude.....
I love you guys. I want to thank you so much. I've seen what you go through. lots of people would've given up by now. But you guys just keep fighting for are rights. soldiers behind the camera.
"Am I being detained?" Cop: "Yes you are." 15ft and a few minutes later... "Am I being detained?" Cop "I never said you were being detained, you dont want to identify, you're free to leave." - Cops are not your friends people. Never communicate with police whatsoever. I'd go even further to say even casual communication isn't a good idea.
A reasonable interaction by these cops. Sensible inquiries. Didn’t threaten, detain, assault or arrest - as we’ve seen with other officers. An object lesson in non-escalation. Top marks for both officers and the citizens exercising their constitutional rights. Good civility on both sides.
I can only hope that these troopers get to view this tape. Then they can see for themselves how ridiculously stupid they look! The first trooper tried the "I'm a pig and you will submit to my authority". It did not work and he looked like an idiot the entire video. The video speaks for itself. The trooper with the camera did look like an idiot too! I don't even think he took pictures; he just was IMO trying the: "I'm a pig and you will submit to my authority" with some strange psychological shit! Good for the "Audit Movement" and bad bad for the cops. They were freakn silly and should hold their heads down in shame! Good job and Thank you for your efforts!

"And we invite you to leave...anytime you want" hahaha
I thought the US Supreme Court has ruled photography can't be deemed as suspicious
Did not know that you have to get permission from the police to take photos of the building what you have paid for
I am in the UK
It really Sucks that the police don't know Fuck all about the First amendment All the way to the end
Total GIMP Shit for BRAINS
@@steverobey711 it's not that they don't know, it's more that they DON'T care about the law. Greetings from Southern California 👍
@@steverobey711 Agree with the guy above me. Here in US they know but they love having power trips and bullying so they ignore people's rights. Hopefully it's not as bad where you live.
@@TCthaCrisis
Hi@TC tha Crisis
The police here in the UK Are really fucking paranoid
There as been a lot of first amendment Audits getting arrested for filming police stations, buildings of interest The Police Force have a LAW which comes SETION 43 Terrarist law which you get detained for having a camera
Over here we call it
PINAC photography is not a crime
No bad that the police are still milking 9/11 Memo's have been sent to all the police about photography and you can get arrested?????
That is the Texas law
You guys are patriots, keep up the good work.
EricSFCA true observation!! 👍
Hey David, I love watching your videos. The one thing that I've noticed in other words The singularity I've noticed, is there a lot of bad cops out there I think we would be shocked to know how many were bad and how few were good.
Would you , if you become a law enforcement, please learn the law.
I bet Davis still has no clue of what just happened. He will have learned nothing, that is until someone shows him the video. I won't bet he learns even then.
You can make a FoI request for those pics and vids.
If the cop is in uniform that is public record now.
Is that Gary Coleman in the middle all grown up??
I thought the same thing..lol
WATCHA TALKIN BOUT WILLIS!😂
Oh no you didn't
Davis was really tryin to intimidate... but didn't work out for him.
I'm asking the questions...
Next time ask for public records for that photo he took lol 😂
He can do that. I am sure it is on file. Also the body cam footage if they were wearing them.
"You gonna put this on RUclips?" You have no idea.
Best comment ever lol
Gross!!!!! the look on his face when he snapes your pic...... You could tell he's putting that in his spank bank.....
+sparky matthews Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !!!!! ROFL !
+Ml Lb Why are you so desperate to discredit the Messenger? Is it because you cannot discredit the message? you must be one of the Cops he s caught in audit breaking the law.
+Hapless Rogue ironic statment, when i never saw a vid with one of the politician who draw up the laws cops enforce.
+Admiral Baily See Jan Helfeld....
admiral Baily cops enforce the law? Last i checked in all these videos, it seems the problem is the cops inability to enforce the law. By that standard it doesn't very much matter what laws are in effect if the cops can't enforce them properly does it? Think before you type
How do you get to the sites that you film? Just curious
P and P News Indepth ha that would be funny AF. That walk of shame should hurt
The medicated wet wipe kind... It get's hot and inflamed in Texas.
P and P News Independent
All of them got so butt hurt I'm surprised they didn't try to charge them with sodomy.
Davis is really on a power trip. He is more than likely a dirty cop, and should be watched, but they all need more training.
Thomas Foley “taser you”
John Jones his uniform says Texas State Police. That is the long name for dirty cop.👍🏻
You & NNH the POWER team! Beautiful! Keep up the great work!
They put these boys out in public carrying guns? Holy Aunt Jemimah!!
I know it's scary as hell. I used to have respect for cops. I now know better.
Holy: Ain’t_Ja_Mamma on a pancake box... just trade in those 10 gallon center-crease Stetsons... for a Jemima doo rag!!
Quann Great comment Still laughing!
You ever notice how it's okay for them to spy on you in public, but invited harassment when you spy on them?
This is one auditor of three that is doing this for real change rather than views. One of my three favorites very professional and I have much respect for him he's the only one that I know that has a law named after him. He's even somewhat of a hero he even refused to give his ID even when they put him in the car. At which point he could be in danger he don't know if any of the cops are racist or had a bad day or anything.
7:02 The walk of shame. Their tactics did NOT work on you👍🏽
Long long way to go before all the cops wake up and respect filming in public.
They re getting better..but these Troopers prove we ve still got a long way to go.
The dream team, News Now Houston and The Battousai!
Lol-for LEOs it's the Nightmare Team.
san joaquin is a disgrace so yeah these 2 are my favs
9:35 Go do some real work ladies.
Please put up a link to NNH s video. I wanna see his perspective
I think it's awesome that you and News Now Houston work together. I was saddened by your recent ridiculous arrests.
An officer should be disciplined for saying, "when an officer asks you for ID, you have to give it". That is a lie meant to circumvent a citizens rights
Very true. This officer was taught Coercion well.
The courts have ruled that cops are allowed to lie.
iamchillydogg They are allowed to lie about what they know. They are not allowed to lie about what is legal or illegal.
+jerry bushman
For being illegal they sure do a lot of it.
iamchillydogg Hence the reason for my comment, duh
God how i love that we have guns.
Not for long
These 2 auditors are the best I've ever seen.
You did the story together with newsnowHouston? Or was it just coincidence ya both were there lol
👍🏼 keep up the great work guys
"It's even more suspicious that you're asked to ID yourself and you choose not to."
Well, sorry, idiot, but the exercise of rights can't contribute to your basis for a detainment or arrest.
"Im asking the questions." Apparently these Cops have mutant powers which can stop others from speaking.
2:54 The way he started stuttering when his partner told them they're not detained. After he said they were. Just to reiterate what was already clear. They don't have to id. And they're free to go.
Wonder how long the troopers got for training by the way they were handling it
So funny, you had a half-million dollars in cop there and they were completely stumped by a couple cameras. I wonder how safe that makes the people of this county feel? 😀
Jonnie Bangkok hahahaa
It makes me feel very safe because the reason they do this is because people sometimes go out and record state or government places and use that footage to learn routes on the ins and outs for an attack or robbery they are trying to do so by stopping these people they know who u are and know if your a danger or not...LOGIC
english would be great?
marlin ewing “your just mad because your probably another dumb ass cop...”
*You’re, my good man. Proper grammar will get you far in life.
btw, YOU’RE probably another dumb ass citizen.
If you guys are so smart you guys should become cops. But knowing how you guys sit on your asses all day and think about how you can bash cops, I’m sure your going to think of a great comeback😂 Soyboys
4th Amendment violation at 2:05
+Kelly Lynch Detention combined with involuntary movement usually constitutes an arrest requiring PC, but I'm pretty sure there's a bunch of obscure exceptions in caselaw, so who knows how hard it would be to hold them accountable.
“Police officer law” lmao ok
I'm going to go out on a limb and guess you wouldn't mind me sharing this, but I'm going to ask anyway because you were nice enough to ask me.
Would you object to me putting this interaction into a compilation video?
"Face Palm" After all the training and all of the lawsuits, law enforcement STILL cannot accurately describe or follow the Texas failure to ID law or properly state if you are being detailed.
I didn't say you did anything wrong. Gimmi your I D. Translation! You have committed no crime. Could you please identify yourself. Answer! NO!!!!!
In the interview they ask "Do you tell lies all the time?"
"Yes"
"You're hired!"
9:25 Reyer #9158 I think that's the most unprofessional thing I've ever seen a law enforcement do
They look paranoid as hell! Protect and Serve is not part of their M.O. FAIL.
Diversity in law enforcement is important, but the colour of someone’s skin should not be the only reason to employ them. The first cop needs to go back to packing bags at the supermarket and stop embarrassing the police department.
racist pos
Don't know about that. He seems to fit right in with that laid back "I'll shoot you in a New York minute" posture. I'm sure the locals just love him and rather you agree or not, sometimes that "good old boy" mentality keeps him on the good side with the waco's (wacko's) down there.
tc1uscg you're a fucking idiot
Ipswichborn Hahahaa verrrry good call... Lol
Ipswichborn maybe you could teach him how to bag loser😂
HAHAHA...I find it hilarious that less than a minute after telling you that you ARE detained and restricting your movements (he ordered you to follow him) the other guy says you are not detained and the first guy changes to "If you're not going to give ID then you're free to go."
HAHAHA...Again..."I'm asking the questions." Followed by another one of them saying "Can I ask a question?" They don't even listen to each other much less the person they are interrogating.
My thoughts exactly
When the trooper said, "You outside a state police office ...." , THAT should have been the key to your response: "yes, outside, emphasis the word "outside'.
Keep up the great work man, I love your videos!
The way that last guy walked you'd think he'd been riding a steer the whole night before.
+Texas Eternal Vigilance Or taking it up the rear!
+Texas Eternal Vigilance "only two things come out of Texas boy Steers and queers and I don't see no horns on your head" (officer and a gentleman)
I don't think it was a steer he was riding

And that steer's name is Jimmy, or something like that...

Full Metal Jackass
Did u foia that camera info? File complaints?
Alert me when the day arrives, please.
+News Now Houston lol
I’m asking the questions- very friendly service from our public employees
I love how they think they will find your car so easy as if you would park right beside your audit, just shows you their intelligence.
Once again I think we all should have them go back to school and learn the law
Valuable lesson. Never park near a facility you're filming. If all possible walk to your target location.
Borrow your buddy's aunt's friend's grandma's car AND also don't park it close. They'll follow you, but make it into a fun game trying to get them to figure it out. Keep them guessing.
Keepin THESE 3 NitWits guessing - would ONLY require a “room temperature” IQ... jiss Sayin’ 🤷🏻♂️
Oh, wow. You're so smart.
Or call Uber
@@jessediaz1711 - And pay in cash.
glad to see you with David
How could you not the law that you are sworn to uphold.
Darn popos don't know, 1st amendment audits are an every day thing these days.
I like how you set that up. ~~ You're not carrying ID. He asked you to verbally state your name. You want to leave, but he detains you. Then you claim your 5th and not speak. LOL.
This must be a joint 1st Amendment audit by Battousai and News Now Houston.
I thought I heard Dave near the end. Nnh ride along👍
