I love that you design jewelry using items that people bring to you. My grandmother inherited a lot of jewelry and loose stones and enjoyed designing new rings. Her designs were really beautiful. Once she left it up to the jeweler to design and he pretty much clumped all the stones together on a blob of metal. No form or beauty. You, on the other hand, show much taste and talent in the pieces you design.

Would t be my style, but I think you did a fabulous job! Your creation really showcases her father's gemstones, I'm sure this lady loved her ring!
Your craftsmanship is something very special ❤

Wasn't sure about the ring until I saw it completed. Very pretty with a modern art feel. I bet it looks pretty on her and will be a source of conversation. She'll get complimented everytime she wears it. And what a lovely story about her dad. Beautiful work as always.

What a lovely way of combining those stones. Thank you for showing the process, I’m forever wondering how jewelry is created.❤

This is a lovely design! I think the circular design was perfect to showcase and unify the three different shapes and various colors. Great job! 👍

Love it. The design is modern and whimsical at the same time. Very wearable, which was the point, after all. Great job and I appreciate learning about all the technical details!

I love seeing emerald cut stones used in original designs. I hope you do some more with this cut of stone (not a big fan of the princess/squarw cut either). This ring is lovely.

Very nice result, interesting contrast of the rounded forma of the metal and square ones of the stones. Did I understand right, no rhodium plate because of the Peritdot ?

Peridot London Blue Topaz pretty ring! I'm enjoying the how to of making a ring. When my mom took the stones out of her wedding ring engagement ring and mothers ring to make a ring with all the stones and made it her initial P. What talent it took I love it watching this I'm ready to ask my friend with jewelry experience to Recommend a good jeweler who can remake the ring to fit a Ceylon in the center.
You are very talented congratulations on 101 subscribers!

Do the little metal shards hurt? I’ve been wondering since they must get all over your fingers as you work.
Also, thank you for filming this project! It’s inspired me to take one of the very first fine jewelry rings my father gave me and have it remade to fit with the style of the ring I wear daily. It has a really lovely oval pink sapphire, but it just doesn’t match, so I haven’t worn it in maybe ten years.
Also, I love that your brother works with you!

Why does the peridot mean you cannot plate it? Could you plate the ring and then put the peridot in last?

    • @zachemighjewelry

You could but you will polish the plating off the prongs when you polish them after setting
