I'm a tech and dealer director as well as technical trainer for 35+ years....this was the best instructional and complete "tech" videos I've seen here. Excellent attention to detail of all the things nobody thinks of doing like checking bolt lengths, BRAVO! Great job and I wish when I was running dealers I would have known you, I would have paid you well for your expertise and thoroughness as a tech. One suggestion , always loosen small bolts with a 1/4" ratchet and then use air tools, you'll never break a bolt because you can feel thread resistance with it. I also always clean and lube the threads when reinstalling. Those little steps save a headache later. I've seen it all through my years and never had a comeback doing the little extra things other techs don't. BRAVO though again!
I watched a couple of different videos on this and this is by far the best most informative and complete video covered everything step by step. Thank you and keep them coming.
crying tears of joy because I have access to a shop and been trying for a while to find info on how to do it myself. dealership wanted $500 now it will only cost me 2 hours and some tears lol
The most comprehensive and professionally put together video I could find on this topic by far. Covered almost everything I needed for replacing the transmission temperature sensor and addressing the P0711 code. Thanks!
Thank you very much I see you from Latin America, you are very detailed when it comes to working. I only have one question, does this transmission not have an ATF oil filter?
ATG & I suggest to replace the Automatic Transmission Filter, which many dealerships, shops & Sue, failed to do. Just like many places will NOT replace the Rear Seal (96% don't) & Front Seal of the Crankshaft when doing Timing Belt/Chain Kit.
Hi please can you do this exact video for 2011 kia sorento diesel. I have 6 speed auto. I need to replace solenoids but i don't know how to remove the oil panel for transmission.
Does the gasket come out easy on the plastic fill plug??? I changed fluid ,ANd the fill plug is leaking just a little I have a new gasket ordered ... Thanks
It’s still coming out when you tightened it so which is it take the plug off until you don’t see a trickle anymore or put the plug back when it’s still trickling a lot? 🤦🏻♂️
My owners manual says it takes SP-IV 🧐 then i look for it online and it says im paying $30 per quart. You said 7 quarts? Did this cost you approximately $210 in fluid or am i missing something? 🤯
People just do not buy hyundai cars they are th worse car market and the worse complicated car breaks parts easily and do transmission change ughhh the worse.. just go honda or toyota... will never buy hyundai again life 🤦♀️🤦♀️ Not easy how you look at it hyundai are cute put the parts worse car .

Note that when you drain fluid, only half comes out. You only need to add about 5L/Quarts, the rest stays in the torque converter.

I only have one question, does this transmission not have an ATF oil filter?
Internal filter, you have to remove the transmission to change it.
Is airtight because you didn't open the level plug. Thats why it makes bubbles.
Amazing video super well done very well explained thxs

Plastic Fill/Level plug on the pan..... NOT the vent/fill plug on top..
Are you really suppose to check level while engine is running. Side fill check plug ?
Thank you for your fine video! Where did you buy the oil pan from?
It’s still coming out when you tightened it so which is it take the plug off until you don’t see a trickle anymore or put the plug back when it’s still trickling a lot? 🤦🏻♂️

Is this the same for a 2017? Looks identical... But you wrote 11-16??
I think my mechanic use the wrong side in filling the oil, he didn't use this process rather he used a hole under the battery side to fill it in
Can you just replace the gasket?
+Lazy beach bum Yes, you can replace just the gasket if needed.
Open breather hose when you refill. 😂
Im about to thug it out and do this frfr
She added 7 l
Nobody noticed she didn't drain it properly
Why do this no filter change seems like a waste of time
