      +MrGoatflakes Thank you so much ! now i understand: DC and Mph can contakt with HIV by CD 209 ! Not by CD4 as been wrote before in many books and articles and that is very strange !!! But CD 209 is PRR so everything start be logically now :)

    What is the difference between Natural killer cells and Killer T cells

    • @Sn00py456
      @Sn00py456 8 лет назад +2

      Basically,
      Natural killer cells: Kill infected/cancer cells (Our own cells)
      Killer T-Cells: Kill pathogens (Not our own cells)

    • @unespebb2220
      @unespebb2220 8 лет назад

      T-Killer (CD8) cells aren't innate as NK cells. Plus, I THINK< that CD8 kills the whole cell when it's infected (pathogen and cell itself). That I am pretty sure. Although I don't know if NK cells will kill the entire infected cell. And they share similar killing-mechanics.
      edit: i think nk cells kills a whole cell either. they promove cell apoptosis, both.
