      C2a didn't change the functions is unknown thts why c2b is mostly considered.

      There is some disagreements on the nomenclature of the complement proteins between different books written in different points in time.

    Thank you very much from Egypt , could you tell me a book or any source that may help to identify the best investigation for internal medicine diseases ?. We know all investigations for each disease but we can't identify the best investigation .

      I don’t think you can learn this skill in a book. What you want belongs to “mundane knowledge” (based on trial and error, personal experience, clinical skills,…etc), and not something that can be taught in a theoretical book, at least in my opinion.
      This is analogous to
      a young car mechanic asking another mechanic: “what book do you recommend so that I can recognize the best way to diagnose a car issue.” To which the mechanic answers: “only experience can teach you that.”
      So the best thing I can say is: “find a good doctor and shadow him…observe carefully…and take meticulous handwritten notes.”

      This specific protein was called by different names by different textbooks in different eras of history (C2a and C2b).

    sir, can you educate me in this?? Most of the text books even my uni lecture notes say that C4b and C2a combined and produce C3 convertase.. But in your video you have explanied all the "a" parts are leaving the cascade?? what's the correct one? I'M CONFUSED??

    Here's a menomic : when you said " we CALL it complement because it complements the immune system " the word CALL is for the 3 pathways : Classical, Alternative & Lectin

    That's was a great explaining!!
    But there's a mistake! In the classical & lectin pathway the C2 is an exceptional case the a will be the bigger fragment and will bind to the cascade!
