I’m growing Beauty King, Dark Queen, Pink Berkeley tie dye, Micheal Pollan, and Striped German tomato varieties all from Wild Boar Farms. I’m stoked to try my first ones soon! So far my plants have been vigorous and have grown great!
I just use grass clippings, weeds, half composted tree leaves, diluted fresh or old chicken manure, diluted human urine to fertilize my tomatoes. Zero cost, no till, and my tomatoes taste like heaven. LOL Try black seamen and black prince tomatoes. They are cold hardy to a little below 40F, but not hard frost. They are also very drought tolerant. This is my way to have a longer tomato growing season in zone 8a.
Would love to try your KS tomato! I just tried growing Barry’s crazy this year, excellent flavor! Also had lots of chocolate cherry and black cherry, the chocolate edges out the black cherry just barely on flavor. But our fave this year was Isis candy!!! Highly recommend! Sweet, juicy and delicious, strong plants also!

My favourite tomatoes are Juanitas and Romello. Holla at me if you want some seeds. Been growing tomatoes for years now and have pointed out my sweetest favourite tomatoes.

I grew blondkopfchen and Barry’s crazy this year too. I really wanted to like the blonds but mine weren’t sweet either, but were quite productive. I wanted to compare them to Barry’s and I had a really hard time with germination on the Barry’s crazy and I only got 1 plant out of 40 seeds. I didn’t want to like Barry’s because it gave me such a hard time However, it tastes really good and made a very strong plant 7+ feet tall plant with tons of tomatoes so I will try growing it again over the blondcopfchen. Thanks for your video!
Thanks......I've grown DWC and in the ground the ones from the ground taste better to me.
if you have had a ton of rain it will lessen the sweetness of your tomatoes. if you wait a while after the last rain and let the sugars intensify, they should be sweeter.
Where do I get the khang starr cherry tomato seeds
If you harvest the hundreds and thousands when its FULLY ripened (those get a slight deeper red color) you will get more sweetness, but the biggest sell with that variety, is the size and the productivity =D Dont let the birds have all the goodies! haha
And YES if you get some spare seeds, I would love to try those sweet KS Tangerine Cherry
You should try the blueberry cherry tomato, might be hard to find, but it’s extremely hardy and productive longer than all my other tomatoes, they are about .5-.75” around and they are yellow with very dark purple staining where they get sunlight.

I grow Fox cherries from Baker Creek. They are a large indeterminate cherry and will self seed the next year. Pests don’t bother it.

You always say 10 hours light and 1 hour on 1 hour off pump settings on your peppers. Are those the same tomato settings? Aerogarden tips trys to tell you during first 2 months of growth, tomatoes will benefit from 24 hour light, but that sounds like bullocks.
