Oh no! Sorry you lost all of those pears 😔. I lost more than a few to some kind of red fungus. The spores from the fungus actually made me sneeze when I was thinning them out. But hey, that's gardening. Thanks for keeping this Asian pear series going 😊.

Great pear trees. I noticed just today my bartlett has rust and the whole branch and little pears are dead but the rest of the tree looks healthy. How timely to see your video. I will have to get the branch cut and thrown away and spray in the winter. I have an Asian pear too about 20 yrs. old I grew from seed. It gives small pears. Hope that your pears left grow big for you after those winds got so many of the others. 🍐🌳

Maybe if you had thinned some of the fruit off the Asian Pear trees in the early stages, the tree could have concentrated on making the remaining fruit stronger and the whole tree would have been less stressed and the tree as a whole would have stood up to the wind better and you wouldn't have lost as many fruit.

Would be more exciting if the pears were spicy! You could cross the pears with habaneros and call them haban-pear-os!

I bought these trees. Yes, trees from seeds will produced, but it could take 5-8 years. You can always graft something else on it to make it produce early like I did.

What are my options when I have only one Asian Pear tree. 30 yrs old where fruit never developeds. Only pea sized pears that drop every year after flowering. Thanks.

@@buster57b Do you know what variety it is? It could be that your tree needs a pollinator. Find out what variety so you an plant another tree nearby to help pollination.
