  • I've seen too many people chilling on the roof of Kafe until 10s left on the clock, so I've taken it upon myself to make a guide for attacking in Rainbow Six Siege.
    Music featured in this video (not necessarily in order):
    Powerslide by NORI
    Night Drive by Wohkeret
    Master Of Illusion by Pecan Pie
    Chapters:
    0:00 Intro
    0:18 Team Lineup
    1:19 Droning
    2:08 Approach building
    2:58 Entry
    5:19 Peaking and Swinging
    6:29 Numbers Rule
    8:02 Objective
    10:17 After Death

    10:49 use the yellow ping, not the red ping. If your drone or a camera is in a hidden spot, it is better for your enemy to not know they’re being watched than to be alerted by a red ping message.

    • @DryW4t3r
      @DryW4t3r 3 месяца назад +15

      On the other hand, when your drone is well hidden, the timer is almost up or a teammate is nearby to take the swing, redpinging can be a great way to put pressure on the defender and to relay the EXACT location to your team. (Yellow pings only stick to surfaces, so they can be tricky to place directly on the defender.)

    Being a Veteran to the game myself; I appreciate the time and effort you put into your video's. They're simple and to the point. These guides are definitely helpful when trying to explain the basics to my friends who are new, or returning to the game. When Siege can be a very complex game for new players.

    If you‘re struggling with spawnpeeks, there are two very easy things you can do.
    1. position your first cam during prep phase in a spot where you can see the common spawnpeeks you will encounter on your side of the building. Sometimes that spot will be outside, sometimes inside.
    2. use your second drone right before you would face possible spawnpeeks to drone out ahead of you and check those windows or doors with your cam. Most of the time, the defenders won’t see the cam because it’s far away, so with a well placed yellow ping you can then prefire the guy spawnpeeking.

    • @DryW4t3r
      @DryW4t3r 3 месяца назад

      This also counters most runouts, because they‘re mostly based on timing, so when you enter your drone to check out what’s in front of you, you will mess up this timing and the defenders just peek into nothingness.

      My helper is usually the Smoke, I don't know if I've been the smoke in any video. I use Mute as a mascot mostly because I absolutely love the skin I have on and I like the jammer outro thing I have. Only time I autopick Mute is on Emerald Plains.
      I have considered operator guides, and was eventually thinking of putting it to a vote as it's rather cliche.

    the last part about watching drones is so important. i'm relatively new and in silver and i could trow my tv out the fucking window whenever i play zero and a hacking dokkaebi, with multiple on site and flank watch cams and end up being the last guy in a clutch. it's as if people die and just go to sleep for a minute or two. "TAKE THE GOD DAMN FUCKING CAMS AND GIVE CAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLS". it is really, really, really frustrating to play an intel/support/utility operator and not have people play the game as intended. i'm not the greatest 1v1er but i choose intel operators, to get an advantage over the enemy by just knowing more thannthey do in certain situations, nut passive teammates while dead feel like a hige nerf to those operators i play. it's like night and day when i end up with teammates that are dedicated throughout

    Great video as always, I like the addition of background music as it can add a nice vibe, I just hope it doesnt get too loud or wild with how some r6 youtubers just blast brainrot visuals and audio constantly in their editing, I think the chill ambience to your videos is really nice cuz its not overwhelming but also not completely dull, its like how Kipper the Dog was compared to kids shows today. I always look for something to bring up that can be improved so I hope it doesnt sound like nitpicking
    ALSO day 4 of asking for a video showing every way to die in siege from amaru dropkicks to ace charges to your own oryx remah dash etc, cant wait for that vid to come out keep up the great work :)

    • @Minotaur4005
      @Minotaur4005  3 месяца назад +1

      The music is not supposed to be important to the video, it's quiet to only act as filler noise for pauses in my speech. I specifically made the music barely audible for this reason. The music shouldn't get overly loud over time, as I actually understand why background music is a thing.
      Of course, it should come after the next video in production :)

    Just a tip. Your quick peaking is wrong. You don’t “unlean” coming back into the wall. You click lean, peak out, then click lean in the direction of cover before quickly leaning back towards the enemy as you walk behind cover. This should help you quick peak

    Is it okay if you can explain which operators are which?
    Such as Flex, Hard breacher, flank watch and that uh other one to make space?

    • @Minotaur4005
      @Minotaur4005  3 месяца назад +2

      It's kind of hard to give complete lists, as the game has 35 different attackers.
      Hard breachers are Thermite, Hibana, and Ace. Maverick is also in this category, but he's half way to being a fragger and is generally either used to be sneaky (he's the quietest hard breacher by far).
      Flank watch is best used as an operator, the 3 best being Nomad, Gridlock, and Grim. Grim is temporary though, so you need to be quick. The reason I say best used as an operator is because if you have a drone watching your flank, a team mate watching it can fulfill the same purpose as a dedicated operator, but it takes away from him having his gun up.
      Entries are really hard to list because there are a lot. Think about them as operators that can both take gunfights and maneuver the map easier, whether by either speed or soft destruction. If you're new, a couple names would be Sledge, Ash, Buck, Zofia, Jackal, Iana, and Ying.
      Flex is also harder to explain. They don't get 100% out of their gadget, the team does. Imagine the drone operators like Twitch, Flores, and Brava. Those operators clear utility for your team, as you take forever to do stuff with them it's easier for your team to capitalize instead of just you. Dokkeabi and Lion are also flex, as either of them using their gadgets during a push makes it harder for enemies to halt the push, just with the click of a button. Thatcher isn't very useful without a hard breach, and capitao isn't very useful without team mates to either watch people leaving the fire or to act on the smoke. Again it'll be hard to give you a list

      @@Minotaur4005 Thank you so much! Maybe this could be a video idea to help beginners! Many people don’t know how to attack and if I’m being honest it’s super tough! Especially choosing the right operators!

      I wouldn't say you do, but if you insist, he's a good roam clearing operator. Find people that are alone, which are often roamers trying to get picks out of site. If you're ever outnumbered, just go somewhere else, find someone who's alone

    okay this is a good video but the problem is it does not take into account a Duo queue or a solo queue or a three-person queue, this video is definitely Noob friendly but this is from the eyes of a noob with four other noobs on the team, I would have liked to see more attacker synergies with between two different attacking operators.

    • @Minotaur4005
      @Minotaur4005  3 месяца назад +1

      What you say is true, but I didn't have room within the video for this. I wanted the video to be quick and simple so as many people could follow as possible. Even if they don't have the game or something, I want them to know proper steps within an attack. If they don't have the game, they can help use it to decide whether to get it or not. If they do have the game, it offers some help wherever it's able.
