I don't normally play intel ops beyond Alibi but Tubarao lets me dip my toe in that direction, while sticking to my overall strength of area control. Ram will be upset, but that's how life goes ☺
Hear me out. Tubarao 4 gadgets. Badit 4 battery. Bandit leaves all batterys into his pocket. When anything like hard breach fuze... Starts going off tuba freezes and bandit goest there and puts battery. When effect gone, the bandit destroys the thing. Normally with preplaced bandit they wont waste their gadgets on that wall (obivioysly), but with this strat you can bait them into using stuff. Imagine that they had a thatcher and thermite and everything ready, but wall is no bandited, thermite puts down chsrge without emp, and then walk freaze and 12 secs later elctricity goes on. And after tub and bandi have taken out all those gadget, you still got 4 batterys in walls, and they got 4 less holes in walls.
Wait hold up. If you ran this with Kaid or Mute or Bandit, you could effectively negate any EMP effects, because it would allow the electronics to go back up in time to disable the breach.
I think it freezes friendly gadgets as well there is a chance it would stop both the Charge and the electronics from working. Which means yes it will negate emps but then again kali exists

You should make a new video on how to trick with tubarao. Because it is difficult to know how if you freeze something or replace a bandit cuz tubarao works with bandit how does it affect the thermite charge and also when the freeze ends and thatcher is there and hes throwing his things bandit has to replace his bandits and then the thermite resumes does it get destroyed with the replaced and now active bandits or does the thermite go first? Why would you use tubarao if it just slows down the process? Just speed it up its the same. Bandit tricking can be easy but more experienced players they can confuse you where theyre putting the charges and it causes them to get half and shit
Nah Thatcher will be fine. I personally see it used more of a slow than to delay hard brech personally, although I could be wrong.

I think it should work on Capitão or Tachanka fire also. If it is a kind of liquid hydrogen that freezes all stuff it should freeze and put out all flames! For me, it doesn't make sense other wise.
Hey bro i think he is overhyped tbh he doesnt have the intel denial of Mute, mute has a stronger loadout, he has a better ability to counter hard breachers etc. From what ive played in test server he cant work with bandit - you cant freeze the wall and then get a bandit to electricute the wall its kind of bugged idk idk though i want to see how the AR50 is on defence but i basically have mastered the smg11 and the shotgun is helpful for rotations swinging etc. many interactions are straight up unrealistic though like the fact you can see footsteps from below they need to fix that cause thats op I love the videos keep it up your the best r6 youtuber
Let's imagine an example from Bandit+Tuba vs Ace+Thatcher. Bandit pre-bandits Left. Thatcher EMPs. Ace throws left, then right. Bandit listens and is able to hear Ace hit Left first, so he bandits left and destroys it. Bandit isn't able to destroy ace's right in time, so Tuba freezes right. Bandit bandits right, and when the ace charge unfreezes, it's destroyed. It looks like the only counterplay to this is Maverick and Shotgun. Strangely, you can't nerf Bandit to solve this. Suppose that Ubisoft decided Bandit's device, instead of taking 2 seconds for him to place, only takes 1.5 seconds to place, but has a 0.5 activation time (like Kaid claw, but way faster). This would mean that a coordinated Thatcher+Thermite could now defeat Bandit, as long as they practiced together. One solution I can come up with is if Shotgun type weapons can't shoot through Tuba frozen softwalls. If this were true, then the Mav Shotgun trick wouldn't work either, but it would allow for my proposed 0.5 activation on Bandit to work; it evens out the playing field: Bandit counters Thermite, Ace counters Bandit, BanTuba < MavShotgun, BanTuba = AceThatcher (probably 50/50)

Total of 4 and able to deny breech for 48 seconds is almost taking half of the attack time its kind of unbalanced imo when it can act like a melusi trick like a kaid and a makeshift pulse with a C4 too ! It should have a max of only 3 canister otherwise it will make sites like throne , cctv-cash unbreachable

I need to know if it freezes the emp timer as well like if they emp the bandit batteries then I freeze the hard breach does the emp timer still count and as soon as the ice melts the batteries activate again or will they still be down because of the emp

One more thing with the friendly gadgets. If a Brava steals the traps he can stop it with his ice. But honestly he might get nerfed probably 10 seconds from 12. Probably footprints only for him. At first I was thinking his C4 would be really strong but his gadget also freezes it. So if he had Impacts he'll be really strong. Will IQ be able to see his gadget? Because I'm thinking if he freezes the floor, then throws a c4, will she still be able see the c4? Even though it's currently disabled? I can see Tub tricking be thing. If that's a case.
I do like the operator but I also feel like the nuances of the gadget’s effects aren’t justified enough. It’s more sci-fi than tactical shooter. Sure, there’s no problem with that, that’s why so many people play the game, but at the same time I feel like there should be exceptions and allowances for certain gadgets both enemy and friendly. The first example that comes to mind is the canister freezing Thermite’s exothermic charge. 2000 degrees C being frozen by ice? If it can produce an area of effect at such cold temperatures, why are you able to walk around inside of the freeze radius? HOW DO YOU NOT INSTANTLY FREEZE AND DIE?! I don’t know, I suppose we just haven’t seen much yet. 🤔 I’m not a game developer or a physicist, but something about this gadget bugs me out a little.
Its still a tactical shooter just not a realistic one and I'm ok with that tbh. Realism wise thermite concoction (Fe oxide with Al) generates a lott of energy and heat which thermite uses for cutting the wall then 4 packs of c4 to blow it open. The canisters could work in reality, if you lower the pressure of nitrogen it will hit really low temperatures which is used for freezing things however that needs a closed room or a small box to do it inside. But let's say by some stretch of imagination they pull it of. Firstly, it can stop the thermite reaction if you freeze it super quickly but that means after the effect is gone the reaction wont happen anymore or if it does it won't have the same results we need to cut the wall. And aces selmas which in the description mentions using water to cut the surface should completely fail because the water will freeze.

Yes, it would suck to have four, 6 metre canisters absolutely wreck all and every attack strat, especially when it comes to freezing mechanical gadgets, but I feel like if ubisoft wants to add such a strong gadget that, on paper, works in the real world, why dumb it down so much in the game? If you have any explanations for the gadgets I mentioned or any others I'd love to hear it!

Radius is too big. And the footsteps thing is bad. So either reduce the radius + timer OR reduce the count OR add a delay in detonation like Kali or Kaid AND make that cannister destructible. Gives those Melusi (on launch) vibes. Will be nerfed I'm sure. Too strong and no hard counter.
Grim lowest pickrate about to lose its throne. this guys gear is basically useless in higher ranks than gold. 12, 24, 32, even 48 seconds isnt enough if you used every one on one person breaching especially with no mav counter STILL..... it just doesnt' stack up against jammers, or electricity. this was a low effort IMO. itd be different if it worked longer on cold maps like yatch, chalet. just SOMETHING to give us more than 12 measley seconds. nitro gets tossed to deny entry, better forget it....
Call me crazy, but this op is virtually useless. Just as much of a detriment to teammates as opponents. And the gadget itself, to be brutally honest, is not good. The only time i ever see this being even slightly useful, is in the dying seconds of the round. Much like goyo. Season isn’t even out yet and I’m already bored.
I feel like for nokk it'd be sick if it didnt deactivate her device and it'd just show the footprints while she was invisible

You can just see the canister through the wall. If you go into the frost it disables the scanner.

Kali destroys the battery so it will be a bit easier to breach with her. Emps of any sort don't work at all tho

No, grim can still track you once its activated.

I think that if they get frozen it won’t really matter because they could get unfrozen same time as the breach

Grim lowest pickrate about to lose its throne. this guys gear is basically useless in higher ranks than gold. 12, 24, 32, even 48 seconds isnt enough if you used every one on one person breaching especially with no mav counter STILL..... it just doesnt' stack up against jammers, or electricity. this was a low effort IMO. itd be different if it worked longer on cold maps like yatch, chalet. just SOMETHING to give us more than 12 measley seconds. nitro gets tossed to deny entry, better forget it....
Call me crazy, but this op is virtually useless. Just as much of a detriment to teammates as opponents. And the gadget itself, to be brutally honest, is not good.
The only time i ever see this being even slightly useful, is in the dying seconds of the round. Much like goyo.
