Using the RAM as a sound mask is so cool. I feel like people don’t try to take advantage of sound distractions enough in this game.
more like ram is too loud. sometimes some other sound distractions can be heard when my friends are playing (while i cant for the love of god) but Ram's gadget is so loud that there is no more counterplay for sound
@@wilsonlee4658 ram loudness can be used both ways, Ram and her teammates wont hear a defender walking up (without slow walk) and surprising them in turn
this especially affects roamers walking up on Ram in the middle of making vertical
@@wilsonlee4658 or it's a gadget that you can specifically and intentionally use because it's loud? Honestly Ram kinda sucks, she needs this secondary buff. Otherwise her utility is absolutely abysmal unless you're Macie
I don't play anymore but sound ques were a huge part of how I gathered Intel and played the round. On defence, you are mostly listening to what is going on around you so RAM used in that way is interesting, Macie ahead of the game as always.

Fun fact about Ram Macie: You can throw a BU-GI just high enough to get it on top of a reinforcement that has a soft spot above it, then activate it to have it dig thru and drop onto Bandit batteries. Like on that Consulate clip, if your team had had a Ram they could have denied the batteries.

The thing is everyone almost plays like that in quick play (currently called standard)

Casual/Quick Match (Best of Five rounds, can play Hostage, Secure and Bomb)
Standard (Was Unranked) Used to play identically to Ranked, minus the ranking,
Now plays close to but there are no Map or Operator bans, along with all playable maps in the pool, and Overtime is one round instead of best of 3.
I will agree though, I have for sure seen tactical plays, drone clears, call outs, and big brain plays in Casual/QM than I have Ranked.

I swear my enemies make 0 noise and stay put defending site in 1v5 . When my team 1v5s they throw . Idk why its my team but yeah, great vid and a classic siege end

What Elo is this that no one is reinforcing? Im in Gold and the guys there are like diff... Reinforcing everything, Bandit-tricking, Droning evereything before push, use the utilities smart etc...
I know your are extrem good but sometimes your enemies arent realy there.
That’s your average diamond and champ ranked gameplay now. The ones in gold and plat actually play tactically and want to improve so you’ll see less brain dead run and gun.

I literately deal with the whole team dying in the first min and then if I don’t clutch a 1v3.. I play slow or suck… 🤣 😂 or they all take turns telling me what I should do.. and I’m just like isn’t that how u lost??
Man I no longer have the confidence to play like this anymore. I'm overly cautious and it gets me killed all the time. I can't gauge the average player anymore. They either know how to play the game, or really stupid which makes them unpredictable.

I spent 45 seconds on attack trying to throw the ram drone into the window of archives on border. So it would make alot of noise for monty to plant and foe buck to cover from below. It’s literally impossible

3:43 that mozzie had no reason to peek there. Sometimes it‘s so funny, you clutch a 1 vs 4 as an attacker cause the enemy, just needs to push you.
