A great tip for Lesion, place one on default plant. You'll be surprised how many people don't check that when it's late in the round and gotta get the plant down safely
@@Livnosif they have a heavy breacher like hibana or an open window on site they’ll plant in front of there so they can shoot the person on diffuser or if they’re smart they’ll pick a spot under a soft floor/ceiling and camp above waiting to shoot down if your teammates have a drone on site or a hacked Valkyrie cam or even better if you have soft breaches and blow one on the ceiling then plant then run back upstairs to camp
With Frost I had gotten in the habit of putting the traps below windows that can be vaulted through. Then use 2 melee strikes on the lower boards. This means that, when an attacker approaches the window, they get the vault prompt. Most 3 speed ops will just go with it and bam. It's not perfect but if you play the odds you usually get 1. Also areas like Kafe's kitchen where there are lots mid-height obstacles on site make for effective trap moments.
Shoot random soft walls with the shotgun try to make the hole as tall as you can, climb over it and place the traps on the other side. Most of the time they dont shoot it like they do with the shields or windows
another use for osa, stopping run outs. if they don’t have impacts to destroy the shield, they aren’t coming through it. so you can protect yourself from runouts by placing them on a window.
Bandit tip. Shoot out the soft wall as much as possible, for me it makes the sound more crisp and slightly louder as well as providing clear direction of where the util is being placed. For a combo with Solis make sure you have a number or alphabet system. So for the triple wall on consulate basement 1) or left 2) or middle and 3) or right. Hope that helps.
Here's just a few tips that i really like. Thermite: You can blow walls open even if they're electrified or muted by blowing open the floor from above which will only leave about a quarter of the wall standing which you can vault over. You can also blow open electrified hatches by setting the charge next to the hatch. Blackbeard: He has great synergy with Maverick who alone can already be really good at playing around the kill holes he makes in reinforcements but now with the protection from Blackbeard's shield. Blackbeard also has phenomenal synergy with Osa allowing him to play behind the shields but with that added protection when he peaks. Grim: Especially with the buffs coming he will specialize at providing information in situations where there isn't a reliable way. This can be anything from having no more drones, to mute and Mozzie, to the new Observation Blocker gadget, or even just information quickly becoming stale. With Grim; he can give you immediate information and allow you to play off it which is great for both solo queue and high ranks where drones are scarce. His assault rifle is also one of the absolute best allowing him to 2 shot. Osa: prevent run outs by placing a shield on a window that they can run out from. For example Chalet has that back balcony with 3 windows I set a shield at the side window and melee it to prevent them from seeing me. I then put claymores at the other two windows which gives me kills almost every time since I seem like such a easy kill. You can also set shields on doors and melee it with a claymore behind it so they don't see it. I use this everything when attacking downstairs to cover my stairs flank while I'm in server. Finally, you can set a shield in some places to bait defenders to melee it and run into a claymore. I've only found this trick on Border when attacking ventilation. If I set a claymore at the drone hole on the left it's actually fairly common that I get a kill.
I’ve been playing r6 for a few years now and just watch these videos while I’m doing stuff as background noise. But some of these strats like the Flores drone bait are completely new to me! Awesome video
What sucks is that everybody I used to play with has stoped playing siege to play other games or live their lives. So i always try to run an operator that’s going to be a support role such as one of my favorites Lesion. That way I don’t gotta talk to toxic teammates
Another really good tip for Thorn is that if the site makes the attackers go down, staircases you could put it in the middle of the stairs in a way that normally you wouldn't even see it unless you were actively looking place some barbed wire and other slowing effect gadgets make the stairs very lethal in specific scenarios
I’m in silver and I have taken much advice from your videos, I am still in silver after a week 😔 BUT UR ADVICE IS DEFINETLY HELPFUL BC I HAVE A HIGHER KD SO KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
You're stuck in silver cause the new ranked system is shit. I only just broke through to gold and that's only cause I kept getting good teammates. If you have a team that communicates and works together it's insanely easier to move up in ranks.
It’s da teammates man solo quein is so hard the algorithm puts u with trash ppl when u win to much it forces u to get extremely good tho to be a one man army almost
If I ever solo queue (DEFINETLY DONT DO BUT I ONLY DO IT IF IM DESPERATE) about 14/10 my team is full of dog water golds while the opposing team is for sure plats and diamonds and maybe even some champs it feels like. I am not very good at the game, but yet I still carry most games for my team. Maybe I need to switch to PC
For blitz I believe he is one of the most versatile for planting the defused especially with those smokes. He makes it so much more easier to hop in the window plant then hop out
Fuze is also a good bandit counter. His cluster charges sound the same as a thermite. So if he launches it as soon as he gets it placed, by the time it takes you to hook up the battery 3 fuzes have already came through before it get destroyed, not giving you enough time to get away.
Great tip for lesion. You can place your Gu’s on window ledges after prep phase on repel windows. After repairing the barricade. They’ll repel up to the window, get stunned and be forced to go up or down to take the Gu mine out.
With regards to Ying, I think she's one of the most misunderstood ops out there. I use Ying as a pretty much direct Nokk replacement which removes the problem of blinding teammates. If you cook the candela and throw it into a room it's a very fast way of checking if the room is clear. Even if there's a Warden, you can hear his glasses turn off or on. If my teammates are nearby, I will use no candelas, I'm fine with not using util on Ying because her gun is good enough and she shines when she's the last one alive.
and if someone is hiding in the corner and they don't shoot? how will you know they're there? you're still forced to check the corners anyway and the flash just alerted the defenders to your position whereas as nokk, you're quiet and they don't expect it
@@Shadowical their character groans pretty loudly when they're flashed, usually louder than the sound of them trying to turn away which doesn't really work against ying anyway because you can cook it
One more tip for fuze: Since planting your fuze is quite loud, your opponents will notice it and move out of the room or just unload their mag into you if they can, so just simply shoot a loud gun or anything else that covers the loud sound of the fuze being planted
This video really opened my eyes on Echo. He's been my favorite operator since his release. I mainly used him to just set up camera in site to stop late game plants and also to give us cameras in site. But after watching this video I used him more aggressively and used his drones to watch corners I'm hiding behind as I roam the map. If only they made it silent when he got on and off the drone since technical He's a ninja would make him way more powerful
As a returning player, this video is very helpful. Quite fast but informative. Wish there was a lil pause after each operators so people would get confused if its the same operator or a new one tho. Still very informative!
true, i've been playing since 2015 until 2020 and then stopped because college and now trying to pick it up where i left off, this video is so helpful tho
I would like to see some map focused videos like comparing all of the ranked maps something like a best to worse or like attack centric maps to defense heavy maps
a good tip for Fuse is he can be used to clear out Bandit/Kaid's tricking with some help from thatcher/kali and can be used to get rid of mute jammers by placing at the top of the wall destroying them and clearing some other util.
20:01 I have had some of my best games as oryx I remember once on bank I broke the hatch in the room where the entrance to the sewer was and caught the entire attacking team planting on site with there back to me. I wiped out 3 of them and then got the counter defuse off. Players have a bad habit of not looking up and oryx is the only operator that can climb hatches infinitely so use that to your advantage
The worst part about playing with a random clash/monty is that when you're behind them they wont ever stop moving side to side exposing you to the enemy

Something to do with clash is using the shock to circle around the attacker in order to pull out your secondary. It's a great way to single handedly take pressure off site, especially on solo queue, and counter a team of attackers that do fast surgical pushes as a team
better weapon fore doc personally is the P90. to be more specific, P90 w/ laser is broken for some unknown reason and it just gives you kills, dont even need to ADS half the time
I think they can buff Tachanka by making the fire deal way more damage but lessen his ammo count.. by this, they dont have to rework the small radius and short time.. why like this though? this makes him unique but viable.. 1.) he doesnt need to reload the launcher if all his canisters are already in it. 2.) he plays like Smoke where his fires are deadly making it a better area denial gadget but plays different from Smoke because of his skill ceiling with the small radius and short time. meaning you have to be more precise with your lineups and timing when using Chanka than when using Smoke. I think the change is not with making his damage higher but rather lowering it BUT making it tick faster.. so attackers can still survive it without taking too much damage but will surely suffer if they stay on it.. this ensure he isnt unfair where he just shoots a bomb under your feet and you immediately take 30 damage or something..
Pro tip for Wamai. Place your magnets on the ceilings outside of common entryways. Nothing is funnier than watching attackers frag or blind themselves because it went off above them
Another way Goyo could be useful is if Kapkan isn’t banned, pairing a kapkan trap with a goyo canister, insta kill trap basically of the enemy doesn’t look

Nothing is funnier than watching attackers frag or blind themselves because it went off above them
You should be able to switch hibana’s pellets from horizontal to vertical orientations
I agree!
Good tip for TBird the ability will target the opponent as well as allies so it kinds gives away locations if the enemy is close enough

Another way Goyo could be useful is if Kapkan isn’t banned, pairing a kapkan trap with a goyo canister, insta kill trap basically of the enemy doesn’t look
