@@internetexplorer3596 yea putting the guy who’s holding post plant with a crossbow in a 1vX is still not a good idea. 99% of the clips wouldn’t happen if the enemy team wasn’t the same way as his teammates lmao. In a 1v3 two guys hop out/hold him and boom can’t shoot the crossbow and the other guy is defusing

Macie is the only person i seen that actually plays siege how it’s meant to be played we have way too many clowns that think the game is run and gun and literally take all the fun out the game then blame you when you’re playing support
If ubi nerf or directly remove, fastpeeks and shits like this, siege will be played more smart. Sorry for my englishh haha

@@ancizu29 I mean, the thing that's still just not the optimal way to play, just the optimal way to play without thinking. Just like when the nerfed drop shotting way back, if they nerf this, the exact tactics will change, but the playstyle will remain. People just don't want to play tactically because they're impatient, don't want to think, or whatever reasons.
@@fwg1994but I also think that nerfing dropshotting also did help in slowing down the siege playstyle. As did adjustments to character speed. I think they need to remove jiggly peaking and provide an accuracy penalty to people who are aiming just after sprinting.

The game at 8:18 is genuinely shocking. Macie catching the guy on elevator 2 with the one-tap was the only aspect of that game that I wouldn’t have expected to see in one of my bronze games.

'This isn't what siege should be' is a perfect quote to the current state of the game. It's why I can't play this game anymore, and as much as I miss and still love this game, it just isn't in me anymore. This video is definitely a masterclass and I have total gamer every right now XD

@princesslightning5447 I'm not sure if it's the TDM that ruined the game, but I think it does take away from the fundamental experience of siege overall. Rushing and spawn peeking can be a viable tactic, but it can't be every round on every match. It's slow and methodical, and you have to play together as a team. The level of toxicity is way too high with this game but I'm also no longer built for multi-player anymore since I'm older and prefer a slow story based experience

capitao is possibly one of those op that kept getting looked over because he is not very meta at the moment
his utility is insanely versatile and his gun is actually ain't that bad.. surprising not many people play with him in this patch
I downloaded siege a month ago after buying it on sale, I've never played before and wanted to try it out since my friends have been asking I took some time to over every other OP and as someone who has been playing non stop unranked my mains are Capitao and Castle currently LVL.43 might not try out ranked until I get used to other OP's for the sake of not being told to change up after a mishap

Teammates peeking after bomb is down just makes macie look so much better on the clutches when it’s 1v3
The para along with the commando having 52 damage with the long barrel is a blessing. Love those guns.
Macie thank you you help feel like I'm not going crazy about the state of r6 I wish it would go back to were if I lost a game I felt like I learned some strat or angle but now it's just run and shoot my teams dead within the first minute and I'm waiting for enemy to jump out and then hide when I've killed half of them then find my way through a mountain of traps and probably dying to a c4 or random prefire when I plant

I think it's easy, watching Macie, to see people who push when they don't need to just to run the 50/50 chance of winning a swing but I think one of the hardest things with Siege's learning curve is getting over the instinct from literally every other shooter to be constantly moving forward. So much of becoming at least decent at Siege is just breaking that urge and being more patient than your opponent. That said, when these people are supposedly high rank, there's not really much of an excuse for the poor decision making.
Every time I watch your videos it makes me want to jump back into Siege BUT so much has changed I would suck worse than I did before lol Love your videos! Been watching you for years!!!

100% agree with you macie, so many people are playin to siege in an unintended way so they can achieve ez or “free” kills. The game is so much more satisfying to tactically kill your opponent rather than run out and kill them because they weren’t paying attention. I wish more players would understand
