- Just had an extra good day, and thought I’d share with you!

You are sooo living everyday with cancer. I have a friend who was diagnosed with melanoma 3 years ago, and ever since she got the diagnosis she has been dying from cancer instead of living with cancer. I have tried everything I know to convince her that she has today and truly that is all any of us have anyway as far as we know, but she is just filled with so much negativity that it is impossible to get her to see the beauty of the gift of today 😢.
It thrills my heart that you get it, life is really nothing more or less than being present in all of the moments we do have, no matter how few, or many we are blessed with. Much love to you Dr. Dan

Each cancer journey is different and she might be in pain or just feels awful

@@ygm_dom6702 I understand what you are saying, but my point was from the moment she got diagnosed, no pain yet, nothing, she didn’t even know she had cancer at that point, and someone asked what everyone’s plans were for vacation, and she immediately spoke up in front of everyone and said, well you know I probably won’t be here by summer, even though the doctor had already told her that her type of cancer had an 80% survival rate for the first 5 years. All of her friends are doing everything we know to help her, but it is draining to have all of our worlds constantly revolving around her cancer after 3 years. Every conversation is centered around her cancer and if you try to change the subject she just finds a way to bring it back to her and her cancer. You ask her about getting together and she always says, well I can’t make any plans in advance because I don’t know what might happen. No matter how much we try to get her to see that she has today and that is all any of us have, she will just answer, yeah, but you don’t have cancer. We all Love her and it is so hard to watch her go through this, she doesn’t try to help herself at all, and that is very frustrating. She runs around all the time, having lunch with this one, going to the orchestra the same evening, she goes like a tornado all the time, yet will tell you constantly how exhausted she is and how much pain she is in, while she is at the lunch or the orchestra or whatever. Don’t mean to rant, but as hard as this cancer has been for her, she has made it very hard for those around her too🥲
Wish you the best, I hope you can prove all your doctors wrong and live for another 30+ healthy years. You're a good person.

CDT: Even when "Dr. Panda" isn't up to doing a "Lovestream," his wonderful Panda Family just keeps sending him Lovestreams back!
Actually, it just was a CT and exam yesterday, and the actual trial will be starting on the 20th
-I misspoke earlier.
It's just as well, as it gives him more time to adjust to his changing needs and gain more strength. I told him today that the phrase that comes to mind when I watch him go through his day is, "dogged determination."
So he is still taking things in baby steps, but feels he's finding a workable pattern, thankfully.

I'm sharing this YT w hubby who has stage 4 RCC & is now in ESRD because his 1 kidney is failing (due to his cancer & the drugs he takes). The reason for the share is that we're from the Central TX area (Austin & Killeen), met at UT, had kids born in Austin & when we retired, no matter where we lived, we'd planned to return home to TX & family. But high housing prices & ridiculous property taxes in the area have put retirement plans beyond our reach. So your YT is like a lifeline for my hubby. Thank you so very much for sharing.❤🤘

Sorry to hear that. I live in North Texas, similar things are happening. The metroplex has been ballooning for years. Hope that you get your wish to move back, if not now, then some day. Hang tough. Tell your husband I said hi from Texas. Tell him not to be too sad. It's gonna be hotter than a haystack here before we know it and he'd be wishing he was somewhere cold. 😊 🙏
@janeforever I’m sorry to respond to you 3 weeks later as well just out of the blue. I’m having trouble finding people with stage IV RCC on you tube that is very old info or is actually a commercial for their cancer treatment facility. I was diagnosed with the same in September last year when I couldn’t breath due to tumor blocking my trachea 80%. Do you mind if I ask if it was the chemo or immunotherapy that were the drugs that damaged his one good kidney? I’ve had the RCC for quite a while since I’ve had fibromyalgia and didn’t notice any symptoms out of the ordinary from the fibro as well as grief and depression from losing my husband to cancer the year before.
I also understand your Texas need because I’m living where my husband was from but I’m from Nebraska and that’s where most of my family is and I so wanted to move back there since my husband’s passing but the home prices have shot up as well as the outrageous property taxes have made that impossible. Well, there’s also the fact that I’m a widow and was forced to retire when I ended up in the hospital and rehab for 3 months as well as the question on my future.
This video made my morning!! Feeling down and sad, this brought me out of it. So happy to see you doing awesome!! ❤

I am very sick in hospital right now. The second time in 2 months. The first sojourn into hospital saw me there until after Christmas.
Now I’m back in a hospital bed, suffering and terribly frail physically and psychologically.
My husband, who passed in 2020 was very like you in his resistance to Parkinson’s Disease and Lewy Body Dementia.
My health and will to live was buried with him but I’m hanging on to life and trying to find peace and comfort.
To all reading this. and to all suffering in any way, I sincerely wish you well.

Good to see you. I,m in uk and had a scary rollercoaster day! Dressing change at local GP surgery tomorrow and swabs etc. this is residual exudate after abdo drain removed. I had an increase in volume last night and today with a fever for a couple of hours. I,m now feeling pretty normal [its midnight here in uk. My wife changes dressing inbetween gp visits and its hard on her. People say I look really well… behind the mass of meds its a fine art to maintain the status quo. Eternal best wishes Sir on your journey… you made my night when I saw this clip 👍

You're so inspiring and have such a positive attitude. My sister passed away Dec. 2nd from colon cancer. She battled it for 5 years. How on earth do you not have a significant other, you are such a beautiful being. It seems sometimes as though you have found that most elusive thing, ‘contentment’ which is truly incredible. I'm gonna tell yah. I don't have cancer, but your day beat mine hands down. 🙌 It's the little things that give each of our days their value. A man could live a thousand years with his days full of turmoil and monotony. Whereas another could live 10 that are caked full of joy, food, laughter, amazing skies, cat purring, and car wash asmr.
