Do not stand By my grave, and weep. I am not there, I do not sleep- I am the thousand winds that blow I am the diamond glints in snow I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle, autumn rain. As you awake with morning’s hush, I am the swift, up-flinging rush Of quiet birds in circling flight, I am the day transcending night. Do not stand By my grave, and cry- I am not there, I did not die.
I am forever grateful that you touched my life Dr Dan and I will be watching your chanel and keep praying for you and your family. You are loved and special❤
Dans brother John posted this a little bit ago - Hi, friends. I'm sad and relieved to say that Dan died at 5:08 p.m. Central / 6:08 p.m. Eastern yesterday evening. Utter peace. Mom, Dad, me, and a friend (who happened to be bringing us food at the time) holding him as he gradually stopped breathing. We bathed him and dressed him in dark gray pants and his pink (Friday) scrub top. I washed his hair and styled it. He looks really handsome and even has a smirk. We'll have a memorial in Austin, this weekend if possible, and will keep you posted.
*UPDATE TUESDAY, 7/9/24:* The wonderful hospice nurses helped Dan through a severe headache and he feels good and able to sleep, now. So grateful! 🙏 An electric hospital bed will be delivered tomorrow, supplied by hospice. Being able to adjust it will make Dan more comfortable. 👍 We are not offended by anyone asking for updates, sharing their strongly-held faith, or their suggestions for Dan, *ever.* Srsly! You’re all wonderful and amazing, and we thank you for your kind concern! You’re the best, all of you-of all faiths and healing persuasions! ❤🥰🐼🙏❤️
Everything belongs to our Father in Heaven, all that we are, all that we have. In His Hands, commit your spirit. Know His great love for you, for me, for us. We are not just any piece of clay. For we are God's masterpiece. Never forget. Peace.
Thank you so very much for your continual updates. So very sorry to hear about his headache. Wish there were a way for us to take away all his pain and cancer. If there were anyone who did not deserve to go through this, it is him. All of you, as always, are in my thoughts. Much love and peace 🕊️ ❤️🐼 - Kimberly
*UPDATE FRIDAY 7/12/24:* Hello, everyone. 🤗 Dr. Dan is resting comfortably with the meds the hospice doctor has him on. We are so thankful for that. And, today our nurse, who is just cool to hang out with, untangled a huge issue we were having, that was costing Dan’s dad and I sleep. Without these people, there would just be no way to cope. And all of you are such a fantastic encouragement, for us. So much to be thankful for. Dan wasn’t able to speak intelligibly yesterday, but today he said several short sentences. It was so good to hear his sweet voice saying, “What time is it, mom?” Never take the little things for granted. And, I wanted to tell you that on the Fourth of July, the apartment complex had a pool party, and the pool is just through the trees from Dan’s balcony. When he heard the music, he started whistling along. Oh, my heart….💙 God bless you all, you are wonderful. ❤️🤗🙏🐼❤️
So happy to hear you treasure these little, everyday things, but they also mean so, so much ❤❤ Dan is a ray of sunshine, he is one of those people who make the world so much better ❤ Love you guys ❤❤❤
Oh my goodness now my heart is melting hearing this!!! Thank you mom Panda!!! I am so pleased you can all get some peaceful sleep. He can still speak and whistle 🙏🙏🙏🙏🐼🐼🐼🐼that is the sweetest thing I have heard in a while!!! God bless all of you❤❤❤❤
@@tiamorar Thank you so much for keeping us posted. I discovered Dr. Dan.. not long ago, however I’ve used his videos library to relieve back and shoulder pain, please let him know that his videos have helped me.. despite his current situation he’s still helping people… praying for conform and healing. ❤️🩹 🐼
It is good to know that all is well with your soul. “There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven... To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:” (Ecclesiastes 3:1 and 7). God bless us all. Peace.
Time passes by crazy fast! Life goes on as Dan's family moves through their grief. There are so many others dying from cancer. Amazing to me that there is no cure.
*UPDATE THURSDAY 7/11/24:* Hello, everyone. 🤗 Right now, Dan is sleeping peacefully on the hospital bed in his living room, thanks to the wonderful care he is receiving from hospice, which seems to hire angels on furlough from Heaven. Dan is declining precipitously, but hospice is taking care of him, and us, in such a way that it smooths the rough road so much for all involved. Trying to take care of Dan without them is unimaginable. Even though, as of today, Dan cannot speak, he gave his nurse and PCS that wonderful smile of his several times as they were caring for him. I cannot thank you all enough for your prayers, encouragement and sharing. As someone in the comments said, this community has restored my faith in humanity. Please know that you have helped Dan so much, and that he has all he needs, and that we are so grateful. 🙏 Dan is a born peacemaker, and I hope that in addition to his helping so many with their rehab needs, that his legacy will also include adding just a little more harmony to the lives of those he has touched. I know that is at the top of his wish list. ❤️🐼🕊️🤗❤️
Good night Dr. Dan, good night all you wonderful angels, good night moon. Psalm 121:8 “The LORD keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever”. Peace.
Thank you , Dan's mom , for the update. He has a special gift for inspiring people with his grace in the face of adversity. . I will miss his kind , cheerful voice with the infectious laugh and his beautiful smile ❤ I hope that Dan and you who are there with him can feel the love that we are sending your way. 🙏💕🫂
I hate what chiropractic does to people, this man has made so many peoples lives worse throughout his career as a fake doctor, it's wild that he didn't die in prison like all chiropractors should.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 3, 2024: Hello, everyone. Dan has had a quiet, sleepy day. He saw his wonderful hospice nurse, and she explained many things in such a way as to put our minds at ease. He is uncomfortable and fatigued, but rarely has actual pain, and he does gift us with that smile several times a day. 🙏 He still holds those seemingly opposite things in mind-all the projects and adventures he’d still dearly love to do here, and the reality of his diminishing powers and possible soon transition, which he has accepted, as have I. The outpouring of love and concern that has continued for this family of “just folks” is difficult to fathom, but we are so grateful and encouraged by you all, and I pray that if you have received anything of value from Dan, you will continue in that, and that you will bless many others, as you have blessed us. I send my prayers for those who are sick, and prayers and condolences for all who have suffered loss. I am so sorry. God bless you all.
Thank you so , so much for sharing with us in such a difficult time for your family. Dan has touched us in a special way and we are grateful for him. Hoping and still praying for healing for him. ❤
@tiamorar Thank you so much for the update, I've been thinking of him and checking for updates everyday, he is a wonderful human being, I'm so glad I was able to follow his journey, sending Love and prayers 🙏🙏
*UPDATE SATURDAY 7/6/24:* Dr. Dan had a more comfortable day today with the new medication his doctor prescribed. He was hoping for a rainy day, and got his wish as we enjoyed Movie Night with National Geographic. He is diminishing in strength, but remains appreciative, gentle and peaceful. “Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.” All the best to all of you. ❤️🙏🤗🐼❤️
I'm very sorry to hear Dr Dan. My wife has Stage 4 Breast Cancer, double mastectomy. Breast cancer cells in her left lung, and now 17 legions in her brain. We have 3 kids. This has been nearly 2 years of a shitty roller coaster. She was clear in March, lung happened in May, and Brain was last month. She is So Amazing and Strong.❤
*UPDATE MONDAY 7/15/24:* Hello, everyone! 🤗 (Okay, it’s Tuesday as of 2 minutes ago, but play along with me here, okay? 🙃) Dan had a good day, and is sleeping soundly. 🙏 We’ve had such a happy last couple of days, in fact. Someone told me to keep standing in front of the mirror and doing that “silly, naive” thing I told you about a couple of days ago. Good advice! Welp, I did! (Ducking for incoming mortars. 🙀). I’d love to tell you all about it, but sleep deprivation in the elderly is a serious problem in this country, so I’ll give you a few brief snippets. Beautiful Tracey came to visit from Houston. 🥰 Dan recognized her voice, opened his eyes and smiled! 🎉 She brought a scrumptious care package of spa products to share with me, Jessica and Dan, too! John gave Dan a meticulous shave, and other facial upgrades, and Dan looked like a new man! 👍 John did some swashbuckling other things for Dan that gave Helicopter 🐼 Mom some concern, but worked out fine. (Not as much concern as when John was flying Black Hawk missions to the mountainous regions of Pakistan delivering emergency supplies after the disastrous floods of 2011.) (My kids. They love to buckle their swashes. 😅) Sweet Jessica came and rearranged Dan’s bed so he could see his beautiful balcony view. Then she and John risked life and limb hanging a hummingbird feeder where Dan could see it. Sweet! 🦤 (Imagine that’s a humming bird, please.) Four of Dan’s volleyball bros showed up en masse and told outrageous stories on Dan. What?! 😮 His mindful nurse came and pronounced his vitals golden, as usual. As she left she said, “I’ll see you tomorrow,” and he replied with his tried-and-true nurse rejoinder, “I’ll wait right here for you.” 😄 His stunning friend and mentee, who shadowed him at his office for a long time, came, and had tears in her eyes upon first seeing him, but soon joined in the family conversation and was a delight. When she left, Dan called out, “You’re wonderful!” Dan’s old friend from Dallas, who did a “Pain Free After 50” video series with Dan, dropped by and regaled us with stories of gratuitous privileges bestowed on him by genetic virtue of his being a dead ringer for George W. Bush. 😂 And I can’t leave out Dan’s brother Mark, who faithfully works on everything I ask him to and takes a huge load off my mind. THANK YOU, Mark! ❤️ When John prayed with Dan and started to leave for the night, Dan told him, “I had a loving time.” 🥰 There’s lots more, but… The End. 😴👋 ❤️🐼🤗🙏❤️
@@tiamorar i know there's a trove of material on here, but i wonder if videoing some of these encounters you describe might be of value to you in the future. Just a thought.
Sounds like a deservedly deeply loving day was had by all. Loving thoughts and good wishes for a restful and rejuvenating sleep being sent to you all. God bless you Dan and family/friends 😴 🙏🏻❤🐼
@tiamorar. Thank you so much for sharing with us ❤ Sounds like there was an abundance of love and laughter and great memories today. As always , sending prayers and all my love to Dr.Dan , his family and friends. Forever a grateful member of Team Panda ❤ 🐼 😊 ❤
*UPDATE SUNDAY 7/21/24 at **11:30** A. M., Central Daylight Time:* Dr. Dan’s pulse oxygen level is in the 60’s. May all your love come back to you a thousand fold. You are wonderful human beings. “With every breath that I am able Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God.”
Sending big hugs your way❤❤ I found dr. Dans profile today, seeking comfort from my dad’s passing of cancer, and stumbled upon a TikTok talking about his profile. Spent the last hour reading through the comments and watching videos❤️ I wish you all strength forward now, lots of love from Norway❤️❤️❤️ let me know if there is anything I can do for you guys
Dr. Dan, people will come back to this channel for years in admiration for the way you handle this and how much you have taught about life along the way.
*UPDATE WEDNESDAY, 7/10/24:* Dan is much more comfortable in his new bed, and it makes things so much easier. 👍 His amazing hospice Personal Care Specialist was able to get him freshened up and feeling so much better, even though his mobility and ability to help are much diminished. Anyone who can do what she did has my admiration-that’s a real skill-and I heard cheerful conversation happening too! 😊🙏 Dan felt headachey and not hungry much of the afternoon today, and so is just hanging out, resting. Ice pack & meds helped headache, thankfully. Until tomorrow, all the best to all of you. 🥱🤗❤️
Thank you so, so much for the update! I am happy to hear that Dr. Dan is more comfortable in his new bed, is getting ice pack and medication for his headache, and has such great hospice support. Hope he and you and everyone there have a peaceful and restful evening and night. Thank you again for your daily updates. Love to all of you - from Cedar Hill, Texas. ♥🐼♥
Thank you as always for sharing with us how Dan is doing. ❤ Grateful that he is mostly comfortable and not in too much pain. Thinking of you all and praying for comfort and strength 🙏 💕 May God bless and keep you .
Would it be possible for me to come visit in the next week or so? Or would this be too much of an imposition? The last thing I would want to do is make anything more difficult for you or Dan. Even if I saw him for just a few minutes, that would be enough. Just love him so much! Let me know what you think.
I often wonder how your Family doesn't catch frost bite from hanging out with such a COOL dude. Thanks for the update! Your Family is in my thoughts. ❤ 💪🏼
Dr Dan, I’m a medical doctor (psychiatrist) in the UK (London) and I’ve been following your journey here for some time now. I have been so captivated by your emotional resilience and vivacious determination to take the positive from the journey you are on. You have encouraged and inspired me. Thank you so much for sharing your story 💗
UPDATE SUNDAY, 7/13/24: Dr. Dan had a sleepy day, surrounded by lots of love, with his brother from Tennessee here for the week, and others as well. His nurses are very good problem solvers. All the best to all of you. ❤
Thank you , Dan's Mom. ❤ Such a blessing that Dr.Dan is surrounded by those who love him. Sending love and praying for you all . Please take care. 🙏❣🐼⚘
RUclips's algorithm just sent me your page. I am a retired chiropractor. I pray you have a peaceful transition and a glorious afterlife. Thank you for your courage and willingness to share.
How do you live with yourself, knowing how many peoples body you've damaged, how many people didn't seek real medical attention when they needed it because you convinced them they didn't need it?
I haven't seen someone square up with death with such composure and positivity like Dan. There is literally no one like him. Life throws cancer and Dan turns it into piercing authenticity and self-realization. Stud no matter what.
Did 30 yrs of ER/Trauma nursing. Upon retirement, I have now been a Hospice volunteer for 5 yrs. I maintain 6 - 10 clients that I visit with once a week and sit for vigils. It is more rewarding than I could have ever imagined. Hospice is often times completely misunderstood. Wishing you comfort and peace of mind.
You are right, in my past life I was an oncology nurse and often did Hospice. I always tell people hospice nursing by far was the most rewarding experience I had while a nurse. I have considered many times opening hopsice facilities and may very well do so in the future.
Dear Mr. & Mrs. Bockmann, Dan was a pleasure to watch on RUclips. Always so bright, positive and cheerful. He had a beautiful message along with a wonderful smile. Deepest sympathy to Dan’s family, friends and the Panda Family.
First of all, Dan is still with us, though very ill. ❤️ Second of all, thank you all for your kind sharing to keep Dan in Austin, as he so wanted. You have been incredibly kind and we are immensely grateful. I ask that you *not* send any more donations, as your labor of love has been effective, but is no longer needed. We will be closing the PayPal account as soon as possible, but until then, please know that you helped and rest in that. Much love. ❤️🐼🤗❤️
Thank you for your kind words, everyone. 💕And if you would please do me the favor of referring others to my comment above about Dan being very ill, and my serious request that no more donations be sent, I would appreciate it so much. Two charities very close to our hearts are Tracey Cline’s Rescue Texas and Alain Ferry’s Race Cancer Foundation. Both are wonderful people with hearts of gold doing compassionate work passionately. We love them. May their tribe increase. ❤❤❤
Hospice RN here. Dr Dan. You are right. Nothing is for sure. I have been fired many times by folks who just refused the plan and got better, despite medical efforts. You are a beautiful soul. Walk your path as is best for you. Your hospice team will be there to walk with you.
You are an inspiration by how you are sharing your personal journey. You are in my thoughts. I send you my ❤ to comfort you.😊 I will share your words. You have a great legacy 14:09
@oldnurse When we face end of life, we need to be told the truth. Despite how "good" we may appear, we are not "good". No one is good except God. We will all face our Maker. The only ones who go to Heaven are those who humbled themselves as little children and trusted in the free gift of Jesus' sacrificial death. Jesus paid a high cost for our eternal life. May Dr. Dan get to know Jesus before he takes his last earthly breath. His next encounter will be in front of God. Whoever reads this, please get to know Jesus. He loves you and wants you to spend eternity in the blessings of His presence and joy and favor!
Dr. Dan is still with us. The family will let you know if he is not. I wish everyone here all the best, no exceptions. I appreciate you all for what you bring. ❤
Dr. Dan is a good dude. He helped me with my lower back around 2011 and it was my first real lowerback scare. He and I use to chat on the phone talking about the lowerback and what I can do when it flares up. He told me to call him whenever it got bad and it got scary. And I did just that, he chatted with me after coming back from some gala and I could literally hear him going through his front door and he kept chatting with me. Dan is a good dude. Will forever be a good dude.
God is Eternal, Omniscient and Omnipotent. He is preparing some of us for life, and some for ending of life. Only He knows which and who, and for what purpose. That is His purpose. Most of all, God is Love. 🙏🧡🙏🧡🙏
I have no Idea why RUclips sent this video to my feed????? I have not searched cancer or chriropractors or anything related recenlty...BUT anyway I am glad it did for I am a richer person now than I was 1 hour ago. Thank Dr. Dan. My Prayers are with you. May the great Physician Lord Jesus bring you bodily health.
How appropriate that nature is covering you in the background...as I approach this time myself from aging and other issues its both sad and enlightening to share these moments with you ....may you be watched over and be strong....we are with you and the fact that you can share this time is amazing ....
After dealing with my daily chronic pain for a year. I made an appointment to see a Dr Dan Bockmann and I’m so glad I did. You fixed my pain after only two sessions & gave me homework for life- I am forever in your debt. Your legacy will always be here - you will always be here. We love you and are with you. Always. ❤
I’m. Glad to hear this. I have chronic pain from two artificial dis replacements. I hope to get relief one day. He seems so great and any of us would be lucky to have had a Dr like Dan!
Dr Dan, you are the epitome of courage, strength and I pray faith. I pray you know Jesus as your Savior. If you do death truly has lost its sting. Please don’t miss the chance to live all eternity in the presence of God creator of Heaven and earth. I pray you feel the comfort of the Holy Spirit and the Peace that surpasses all understanding and comes from faith in Jesus Christ.
@@ninaishida8453absolutely agree with you on that. The most important message anyone can give is the message you sent to Dr Dan. Turning to THE LORD is the most important thing anyone can do.
Dan, this world will be a better place because you were in it. As a fellow Doctor of Chiropractic, you have been a phenomenal ambassador for our profession. Your patients will never forget your kindness and empathy.
NDE person here if you ever need to talk. I have stage 3 colon cancer. My near death experience from a botched surgery was the best gift because I understand where I’ll end up now. It’s very peaceful and the love you’ll encounter is unlike anything on earth. Rest easy Dan. This is all out of our hands. There is a GOD and you’ll be blessed, no matter what. Trust.
It's beautiful on the other side isn't it? Some days I can't wait. There ARE a couple of things I want to accomplish before leaving here though but no fear here!
Dr. Dan. It's been an immense honor to get to go through this journey with you. We all love you. We will always remember you, friend. I hope you see this comment. We love you, Doctor! Always!
Hi Dan, it’s been 9 Months since u posted the video saying “ I have about 2-6 Months left to live “. We are all very proud of how far you’ve come on this tough journey. You’ve inspired us all and you have taught me things about life that I’m so grateful for. Lots of love from Australia 🇦🇺
Dan, I’m 24 y.o. biology student and I must admit that I love what you do for others. You bring so much love and joy in my life. I’ve been watching your videos since my car accident that resulted in two fractured vertebrae. I’ve been in pain ever since and your videos helped me tremendously. I’m not religious whatsoever and no one from my family is but yesterday I prayed for the first time in my life. I prayed for you. I wish for your days to be filled with joy and love, no pain no sorrow. I hope I will be able to meet you one day! Have a great day Dan (my favourite panda man).
This was beautiful. I am not religious either. I am just a born-again Christian. I don't belong to any sect. Just read the book of John and it will explain everything you wanted to know about everlasting life eternal life and how to obtain it Jesus Christ did it all for you there is nothing you can do to earn it just believe God bless you Lorena
At his passing, he’s now cancer free and at peace…. God bless this man’s gentle soul. I hope that these videos help to inspire other cancer patients and families.
Dear sweet Dr. Dan, I’m writing this through tears. 😔Thank you for providing us with an update, we don’t want this to be “goodbye” and we all hope and pray for a miracle to see you again soon. You are one special human being and I feel so honored to have come across your videos years ago - you will NOT be forgotten! Thank you for everything! Sending so much love, hugs and prayers to you and your family. We love you.♥️🙏♥️
Lost my 40 year old wife to liver cancer 2 years , she was the most beautiful and sweet person , she was super brave until the last breath , they waited too long at Moffitt cancer center and she never even got treatment, which could have bought us another year if they did act fast enough , she still live in my heart and the hearts of her 3 children. I miss her soo much Much love ,we all will have a similar conclusion, just another phase of life.
if, IF, IF this is your last video, I'll miss your eternal optimism, good humor, intelligent enquiring scientific brain, you're one of the nicest people I have EVER witnessed in my 59 years on this planet.....you will NEVER be forgotten by those who have taken time to get to know you, you indeed have a very worthy legacy my friend, I wish you peace and a wonderful life, whether it be here with us or on another plain........
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I pray that you know Jesus. With Him you will definitely be in a better place. The world will miss your gentle spirit
*UPDATE SATURDAY, 7/13/24:* Hello, everyone. 🤗 Dan had a comfortable day today. First of all, I’ll tell you what I did first thing this morning. I looked in the mirror, smiled at myself, and said, “God, I can’t wait to see what miracles you have for me today!” (I read that somewhere once. I mean, how silly and naive is that?! 🤭). Now I report what happened next, verbatim. Dan said, "How long has this been going on?" I said, "A couple of days." He said, "What happened? I seemed to take a big decline." I said, "We think you had a stroke." He said, "Oh, that resolves a lot of my questions." I said, "Are you thirsty?" He said, "Yes." (Rita, you will laugh to know I burned the toast to cinders, yet again…’cause I rushed in to hear what Dan was saying. Blame it on my ADHD. 😅) The hospice nurse previously said he was to have nothing by mouth, because he didn’t remember how to drink and swallow. I checked again and she said to try him on sips, and he handles sips. Am I saying he is miraculously healed? Of course not. But he later told me his heel hurt, so I floated his heels on a pillow and put cream on his feet. Any mother would be grateful to know anything she can do to help her child feel better, and I am! I am waiting on God. My expectation is from God. I have quieted myself as a weaned child, as the Psalmist says. “Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him,” as Job said. I will “in everything give thanks,” as the epistle says. But wait, there’s more…. Okay, I can’t tell you more than, next to Dan, this is the biggest thing in my life I have prayed for for *years,* with no glimmer of hope on the horizon, well, today it happened, right out of a blue sky. And those of you who prayed for my “silent request,” thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am overwhelmed with gratitude today. Plus, Dan seemed to have some actual Panda-type enjoyment. How cool is that? 😍🐼😍 The day was even fuller than that, but it’s late, so I’ll save that for another time. 🥱 I’d tell you to do the thing I did this morning, but I’m warning you, you have to let go of expectations, or your felt sense of lack will shoot you in the foot. You have to look for the cool miracles with a microscope sometimes, but if you are grateful for the tiny things you usually overlook, it kind of primes the pump. Anyway I know so many of you will feel so bad if we “lose” Dan. I’m here to tell you that you never lose anyone you love, whether they live or pass to the Beyond. Dan made me “pinky promise” that I would stay happy if he left, because he was looking forward to to new adventures. I said, well, I’ll cry, and be very sad for awhile, but I’ll know you are safe and happy, and that’s what a mother wishes most for her children. So pinky promise you will be happy, too, if you can. If you can’t, that’s okay, too. 🤗 All the best to all of you. I wish I could answer all of you-you are an embarrassment of Panda love! Don’t ever be ashamed of loving someone. Okay? You get to decide if someone means something to you. ❤️🐼
Ooh la la, how beautiful! Salutations, Dr. Dan. Indeed, per John, there is no fear in love, perfect love casts out fear. "Trust in the Lord with all you heart, and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make straight your paths." Proverbs 3:5-6. Peace.
@tiamorar Blessings and amen to you, Dr. Dan and your loving mom and dad and panda family.❤We understand the love we have for our children just as God loves his children. I’m So very happy to hear our prayers are answered, and Dr. Dan is feeling Gods love for him.❤
Dan once said “ I am going to live every day like I’m going to be 90 years old “, such an inspirational guy! He is leaving us soon, but I know l will continue visiting his podcast like visiting an old friend who is going to live to 90 years old! ❤️😊
Dr Dan, I want you to know you have changed my life 3 different times in the last decade. The first time was in 2015. I met you after I injured my back at the gym. I was in so much pain it was hard to walk. You worked with me for weeks and weeks to rehab my back injury. By the time we were done working together my pain was completely gone. The second time was years later in 2021. Because of the pandemic I had been working from home and that once again wrecked my back to the point that I was in constant pain. This time when you worked with me you gave me the tools to fix this instance as well as other back problems in the future. The third time you changed my life was when you started sharing your cancer journey. I had started to get black pilled looking at the state of the world. The way you so completely embrace the best parts of life despite your struggles was eye opening to me. Sharing your journey helped inspire me to pull out of that dark spiral. Thank you so much for all you've done for me. Everyday I live without back pain is because of you.
That was beautiful! I'm so happy your back pain is gone, but the most beautiful part is Dr. Dan helping change your outlook on life! We could all use a more positive outlook.
*UPDATE MONDAY 7/8/24:* Hello, everyone. 🤗 So many are inquiring every day about Dan, which is so kind, so I’ll just keep briefly checking in with you here, to hopefully save you scrolling through so many comments to find out how he is. Dr. Dan is staying more comfortable with his new medication. He sleeps pretty well at night, and is sleepier during the day. He has developed some jaundice, according to his nurse. The brain issues are requiring the most adjustment right now-motor control, eye-hand coordination, ability to focus. His set point is acceptance of things as they come, but he definitely wants to captain his own ship, as always, so, go Dan! 🫡💕
@tiamorar Hi Ms. Tia! I know you are lockstep in this journey with your son, and I want to thank you tremendously for taking time with everything happening to keep us updated on his condition. Sending Dr. Dan and your family, continuous prayers, positive vibes, hugs, and love along this virtual highway 🙏🏽 ❤️
Here after the brother’s recent video update he mentioned Dan may be gone within the next day or so. I’m so grateful for the video and talk Dan gave us. A beautiful soul not to be forgotten.
My mom died from lung cancer. She fought it 4 years, with dignity and class. Never once feeling bad for herself, and always smiling. I never saw someone die with such grace and dignity until Dr dan.
You are not “just a guy on the Internet”. You have reached tens of thousands of “Pandas” with your never-ending positivity. I’ve never seen anything like it. God has you in the palm of His hand with a love we cannot even fathom on this earth. He will never leave you or forsake you. Peace to you and your family. You’re all in my thoughts and prayers. And thank you for the PT videos you made and freely shared. What a blessing you have been. ❤
Always amazed by people facing imminent death and keeping a good attitude and pleasant demeanor. Worrying and fretting will not add 1 hour to your life. I’m certain death is not the end.
How many in the panda fam are going back and rewatching his videos? I am making my way through them! He was always so strong and positive, I have not seen one time when he wasn't anything but a bright light. What a legacy he is leaving behind. Dr. Dan is an example of how nothing is more powerful, has more lasting impact, than kindness. ❤❤🐼🐼
Dr Dan, THIS is your victory speech❤️ You are a true warrior! You’ve handled your cancer diagnosis and recovery journey with such courage, grace, strength, and determination. You’ve shown us by your example to choose and hang on to the good stuff, forget the bad, brace ourselves and carry on with life’s challenges with kindness, empathy, compassion and a winning smile. We are in awe of you and your stubbornness to cling to hope and to what is good. We will never forget you, and in your name will continue to be pandas in our own lives. We thank you and we love you so much!
Oh Dan.... Selfishly, my heart hurts. I held out such hope that you were going to beat this and end up stronger than ever. I'll continue to pray for you and your amazing family. Thank you for being such a great example of strength and dignity. God bless you.
I am a man in my mid 40s. I watch Dr. Dan's videos to try and become a better person, kinder, less bitter when I have much to be thankful for. What a gentle soul Dr. Dan has. He is a very good man!
An absolute masterclass on mindfulness, love, flowing, being in the moment, and gratitude. Words cannot express how grateful I am to have found you, Dr. Dan. You are one stunningly beautiful human being.

Dan… as the daughter of a chiropractor, wife of a chiropractor, sister of a chiropractor, sister in law of a chiropractor, and aunt of 3 chiropractors, I can truly say you are a light and inspiration to the profession! ❤God bless you.
As a fellow chiropractor and having experienced (and triumphed) my mom battling breast cancer, this farewell strikes a chord in me. If only I could have found your channel sooner, but I am here now. I am excited and curious to learn more from you through your channel. I accept your love and I am grateful have heard your message. Thank you Dr. Dan for your presence, may you rest and peace and my prayers goes towards you and your loved ones. Amen.
How awful for you to watch your beloved son suffer .. praying our Lord is comforting all of you and giving you His strength to get you thru this.. God Bless Dan ❤
Dr Dan, I am a 22 years old living with severe health anxiety. You are the person who has taught me about the beauty of life despite its shortcomings, love from Canada! I will always remember you, and you will always live within my heart!
I live with it as well at 37. Much agreed. Typing through tears. Can I just say, unrelated- my best friend who moved away is from Canada. I miss her saying “out,” “about,” “eh,” etc the way you guys do. Hugs from PA❤
As the minutes & hours pass this evening and I sit in solitude with my thoughts of all that Dr. Dan has created & given to all of us; my heart feels the tremendous impending loss. So tonight, as a gesture of paying tribute to Dan (& because I don’t know what else to do right now to “make things better”…besides my prayers for a peaceful transition)…I am holding my own kind of vigil by rewatching all of Dr Dan’s videos from the beginning. Maybe as a community we could all let the family know our favorite video, piece of wisdom/quote from Dr. Dan. Wrapping all his family in a virtual panda hug! Peace be with you all. ❤
I was a nurse for 35 years including hospice care. I think gratefulness is one of the best things we can learn in this life. I learned from my hospice patients how to see life differently and better than I did before. I am 72 years old and know that time is short now but have no fear of death and what is to come after death. You are a blessing to everyone you have shared your story with, it helps more than you know. The world needs this right now.
Thank you for being a nurse, an earthly angel of care. Nurses' are the best and kindest people! I am grateful of all the wonderful nurses I've had over the years.
I’m also a 72 year old RN. I was diagnosed with lymphoma yesterday. I believe that my experience in oncology will help me. It certainly helped me make some major decisions in my life.
Your sharing means you touched the future, helped others, and have transcended beyond the here and now. Bless your heart. Take strength as you step forward.
My wife told me that a notice popped up on her phone this morning that you had a new video to share. She said that you mentioned that it may be your last transmission. Every morning after I pour us both a cup of coffee, I clink the side of my coffee cup and say, "I have an announcement to make!" And then I proceed to say something silly about what we're going to do that day. It's my way of starting each day fresh. I couldn't do the announcement this morning after she told me that you weren't doing well. We just finished watching your video this evening. Tomorrow I'll get back to making my announcement to our imaginary audience. I'll include you in my announcement. Something perhaps like, "Dr. Dan has inspired me to be the best I can be ... because he's the best he can be."
My wife is back home in Canada visiting her sick mother ( we are in Italy) but you made miss and appreciate our morning coffee. Thanks ……oh but I cannot wait to wake up beside her again. Thanks for the wake-up call and giving me a new positive outlook today.
What a lovely message. Respect. Encouraging to read an honest, decent, supportive message to this man. I have an announcement, “ there are still decent people in this world.”
To bring you a bit of comfort, I had a NDE (drowinng) when I was 14. It was, so, so peaceful. I felt enormous love. I am now in my elderhood stage, and see life differently. I ended up caring in hospice. Dan, you matter! I found you; your message resonates with me. Thank you. Sending loving energy your way. 🏩
I had a Near Death Experience as a result of an electrocution accident.. it was so unbelievable I can barely even describe it with words. The “other side” is definitely HOME, unlike this place we currently reside.
My husband had colon cancer and lost his battle on November 27,2020. He said if he would have had more time he would have written a book titled “Cancer is the Best Thing that has Happened to Me”. It made him view life differently and see all the blessings most don’t see. He lost his life here on earth but gained his eternal life with Jesus!
I can’t believe how resistant everyone is to the idea/reality/notion of God & the afterlife -Christ Jesus showing up during all of the near death experiences SEEMS like proof enough - that Jesus defeats death & facilitates our transition/right standing with God 🥺 please if you’re reading this - please take time to look into Colton Burpo , Dr Eban Alexander - or the dozens of Muslim testimonies encountering Jesus. Please while there is still time.
N@@michelleduncan9965AMEN Michelle. Let's keep him in prayer. He said his dad had obligations at the church, so, hopefully, he has heard the gospel. It's ALL about Jesus. HEBREWS 9:27..... It is appointed unto men once to die, and after this the judgement.
I'm saddened by the passing of Dan. Never commented on his videos but frequented this channel for a while and learned that he was someone who looked at his situation with his chin held high. I'd probably be in a state of disarray in his situation. Dan, thanks for making the world a bit brighter.
Hello Dan if this is your last vidéo then it means your soul has completed its mission down here on Earth and is ready to return home . All of us will have to go through the end of our physical when it is our time . The main thing is to be at peace and you are at peace . ❤ ❤ love from France
Life is so strange. This man was seemingly in very good shape and deals with this while other people abuse the hell out of their bodies and live into their 90's.
Life isn't fair is the message I have received. We aren't promised more time even when practice "healthy" behaviors. This isn't a license to eat poorly and beat the hell out of your body, but many do and live well into 80's and 90's so no guarantees of anything. I am late to finding this channel, but this fellow is very kind and inspirational. Fortunately, I fully believe in life after death and while I still have a lot of living I want to do, I know what is waiting for me on other side.
50+ years ago cancer was affecting like 1 in 10. It was rare. Now is 1 in 4. Approximately in 10-20 years from now, 1 in 2 will have cancer. DNA? No, not with this rate. People think they have healthy lifestyle. Nope. Red meat and cholesterol are healthy, sodium is healthy. People follow this nonsensical nutritional advice present in media and they die in greater numbers each year. This fact cannot be denied.
Indeed, the protons that make up the nucleus of the atoms of this man were created 14 billion years ago. They will soon be used for something else , recycling for eternity.
UPDATE FRIDAY 6/28/24: Dr. Dan is feeling much better today, after a difficult night, the second in a week. He is up, enjoying food, and taking charge, as usual. 💪 He is definitely not ready to say how much longer he will be staying in Austin, and so his PayPal will remain, and I will honor his decision, of course. He is one tough cookie, is all I can say. 💪🍪❤️🐼
Oh he is just the most amazing strongest person. It must be all of us here on utube and all his family and friends that are giving him the wind in his sails yay!!! I hope he is getting to see all these messages from the world!!!! Look how many of us 🎉❤Was listening to the song by Josh Groben " You raise me up" Sending all the strength and energy his way and to you and family mom Tia ❤❤
Thank you for the update, Mama 🐼❤❤ So glad to hear he is feeling better ❤ Dan is in my thoughts and his loved ones as well. Such a pure, wonderful person. Love you Dan, love you family ❤❤❤

I am currently in training for this holy service. These videos are gold to help me get to know the reality and process of the EOL experience. Thank you, Dan for helping me to help others.
Amazed how optimistic and good natured this guy has been throughout his sad, unfortunate cancer diagnosis. He is truly an inspiration that should remind us to try and enjoy every second of life. While our health allows. Bless you Dr. Dan!
So glad you made it back to your apartment, to again sit out on the balcony. Taking in the sounds of cicadas, smells of cedar trees, feeling the lightly changing air rising up from the canyon, and watching the wildlife flit about. Thank you for sharing your story and peace.
Coming back a day later to leave a comment for mom - look at these comments - I hope this outpouring helps ease your heart during this time. Your baby has inspired so many around the world - what a beautiful, lasting legacy.
I was having a bad day, thinking about how much I hate my job how much I wish I was doing things I love, just being down. This man’s positivity even at END OF LIFE pulled me back down to earth. He is an inspiration to me to keep my head up and find positivity even in the worst case scenarios in life. God bless you Dan. Rest easy and thank you for your journey ❤
🙏🙏Blessings forever GOD loves y'all too forever tell everyone you know and don't know. Jesus loves y'all too forever. Teach everyone how to see and enjoy their blessings too forever😊
Wow this hit really hard. Dr. Bockmann treated me several times and he was great. Very kind bedside manner, very well spoken and friendly. His treatments helped me overcome serious back pain and he was very proactive about giving me treatment ideas and tools to use at home. On my last visit, i think this was mid pandemic, he shared his cancer diagnosis. It was very shocking but he looked great and he was his normal positive self. I think part of my shock in seeing this video today was that he was so upbeat and positive about his future..it was as if he was telling me about a sprained ankle or something relatively minor, instead of this terrible disease. All my best to Dr. Dan Bockmann and his family and friends. His positive outlook truly is enviable.
We don’t want it to be your last hello either. Thank you for giving me a chance to say you are very special and your kindness/generosity will always be in my heart. Wishing you peace and comfort wherever you are in your trip.
Watching parts of this video as thinking of Dan today, his wonderful smile and outlook on life, and some the lessons he's taught me. Sending prayers for comfort to his friends and family.
Do not stand
By my grave, and weep.
I am not there,
I do not sleep-
I am the thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glints in snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle, autumn rain.
As you awake with morning’s hush,
I am the swift, up-flinging rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight,
I am the day transcending night.
Do not stand
By my grave, and cry-
I am not there,
I did not die.
Thank you, thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Sad news, will keep Dan my heart and thoughts 🐼❤

Oh, my heart….💙
God bless you all, you are wonderful.

So happy to hear you treasure these little, everyday things, but they also mean so, so much ❤❤

Dan is a born peacemaker, and I hope that in addition to his helping so many with their rehab needs, that his legacy will also include adding just a little more harmony to the lives of those he has touched. I know that is at the top of his wish list.

He still holds those seemingly opposite things in mind-all the projects and adventures he’d still dearly love to do here, and the reality of his diminishing powers and possible soon transition, which he has accepted, as have I.

Sweet Jessica came and rearranged Dan’s bed so he could see his beautiful balcony view. Then she and John risked life and limb hanging a hummingbird feeder where Dan could see it. Sweet! 🦤 (Imagine that’s a humming bird, please.)
Four of Dan’s volleyball bros showed up en masse and told outrageous stories on Dan. What?! 😮
His mindful nurse came and pronounced his vitals golden, as usual. As she left she said, “I’ll see you tomorrow,” and he replied with his tried-and-true nurse rejoinder, “I’ll wait right here for you.” 😄
His stunning friend and mentee, who shadowed him at his office for a long time, came, and had tears in her eyes upon first seeing him, but soon joined in the family conversation and was a delight. When she left, Dan called out, “You’re wonderful!”
Dan’s old friend from Dallas, who did a “Pain Free After 50” video series with Dan, dropped by and regaled us with stories of gratuitous privileges bestowed on him by genetic virtue of his being a dead ringer for George W. Bush. 😂
And I can’t leave out Dan’s brother Mark, who faithfully works on everything I ask him to and takes a huge load off my mind. THANK YOU, Mark! ❤️
When John prayed with Dan and started to leave for the night, Dan told him, “I had a loving time.” 🥰
There’s lots more, but…
The End. 😴👋

Not looking good as of 3hrs ago😔🙏🏼❤️
@@Tracie76 Hi Tracie, plz explain
*UPDATE SATURDAY, 7/13/24:* Hello, everyone. 🤗 Dan had a comfortable day today. First of all, I’ll tell you what I did first thing this morning. I looked in the mirror, smiled at myself, and said, “God, I can’t wait to see what miracles you have for me today!” (I read that somewhere once. I mean, how silly and naive is that?! 🤭). Now I report what happened next, verbatim.
Dan said, "How long has this been going on?"
I said, "A couple of days."
He said, "What happened? I seemed to take a big decline."
I said, "We think you had a stroke."
He said, "Oh, that resolves a lot of my questions."
I said, "Are you thirsty?"
He said, "Yes."
(Rita, you will laugh to know I burned the toast to cinders, yet again…’cause I rushed in to hear what Dan was saying. Blame it on my ADHD. 😅)
The hospice nurse previously said he was to have nothing by mouth, because he didn’t remember how to drink and swallow.
😍🐼😍
The day was even fuller than that, but it’s late, so I’ll save that for another time. 🥱
I’d tell you to do the thing I did this morning, but I’m warning you, you have to let go of expectations, or your felt sense of lack will shoot you in the foot.
All the best to all of you. I wish I could answer all of you-you are an embarrassment of Panda love!
Don’t ever be ashamed of loving someone. Okay? You get to decide if someone means something to you.
❤️🐼
Blablablabla blablabla...
Tell your subs you don't want donations anymore.
Come on, tell it!
Thinking of you guys! Sending prayers.

Your parents must be so proud of the strong, courageous man they raised. God bless you, you’re a warrior xx❤️
You are such a phenomenal human being, such grace.

So beautiful and meaningful....🌹

What a lovely message. Respect. Encouraging to read an honest, decent, supportive message to this man. I have an announcement, “ there are still decent people in this world.”
That is awesome!
You will be missed, very much, Dr. Dan. We love you, always. Never will you be forgotten.
I had the same experience. So peaceful.
It is an honor, Dr. Dan to share this journey with you. You are so very special. We will all be together one day. Thank you for being you. 😘😘
Praise God Darlene!! We will meet your sweet husband & you in heaven! I pray Dr Dan is saved in Jesus!!!
Sorry for your loss
amen
DNA
Life isn't fair is the message I have received. We aren't promised more time even when practice "healthy" behaviors. This isn't a license to eat poorly and beat the hell out of your body, but many do and live well into 80's and 90's so no guarantees of anything. I am late to finding this channel, but this fellow is very kind and inspirational. Fortunately, I fully believe in life after death and while I still have a lot of living I want to do, I know what is waiting for me on other side.
I agree…he was, or seemed to be the picture of health, and then, bam 💥
Sir, I pray that you are at peace and God be with you ❤🕊️🙏🏼💯❤️
Genetics play a massive role.
Dr. Dan, energy never dies, only changes forms. You will still be, just elsewhere. Happy travels. Blessing on your journey.
Indeed, the protons that make up the nucleus of the atoms of this man were created 14 billion years ago. They will soon be used for something else , recycling for eternity.
I wish and pray when it’s my time to die I have 1 percent of the courage that Dan exuded during his courageous struggle !!!!!
UPDATE FRIDAY 6/28/24: Dr. Dan is feeling much better today, after a difficult night, the second in a week. He is up, enjoying food, and taking charge, as usual. 💪
He is definitely not ready to say how much longer he will be staying in Austin, and so his PayPal will remain, and I will honor his decision, of course.

Thank you for being you…. I’m an End of Life Coach and I’ve followed your story. Today’s post moved my soul knowing this world needs more of your spirit. I will carry your torch to those I help pass through as you are one of a kind Dan. Love and light. 🙏
I am currently in training for this holy service. These videos are gold to help me get to know the reality and process of the EOL experience.
Thank you, Dan for helping me to help others.
Former longtime Victim Advocate here. In another lifetime I would have pursued this is I'd known it was a thing! Wish you peace in your work. 🙏🕊️🪶
Does anyone ever mention carnivore?
Dr Dan thank you for all your knowledge 🙏 and experiences you have shared. Will keep you in prayer.
Amazed how optimistic and good natured this guy has been throughout his sad, unfortunate cancer diagnosis. He is truly an inspiration that should remind us to try and enjoy every second of life. While our health allows. Bless you Dr. Dan!
100% agree! Admire Dr. Dan sooo much
I will pray for youdont giveup
RIP DR. Dan. It was educational and wonderful to meet you here on youtube. You will be remembered.
So glad you made it back to your apartment, to again sit out on the balcony.
Taking in the sounds of cicadas, smells of cedar trees, feeling the lightly changing air rising up from the canyon, and watching the wildlife flit about.
Thank you for sharing your story and peace.
I’m blown away by this man’s heart and mind!! True inspiration
Have a safe trip brother and thank you for showing us what dignity and wisdom is, that is an invaluable gift to share.
A giant among men. A leader with immeasurable grace and humility.
Keep coming back to this. A beautiful human being.
I'm a grown man and I am holding back my tears.
You’re human, you’re supposed to cry sometimes. Please don’t feel ashamed about it! 💛
I broke immediately.
Not even trying to hold back mine

Simply a hero. I have more faith in people because of your example. You will long be remembered by many. Godspeed.
