    This was a good one. Straight up story with no embellishing. Honest family dynamic, honest show how crime doesn’t pay, honest how life is, and real about how a smaller dude has to get by in prison.

      @InsideTrueCrime matt I have always joked about telling my story somehere... started trafficking in 10th grade and got wilder from their. So my joke has turned to my buddies seriously trying to convince me to tell my story since we all watch your channel! Its my past life but funning to watch an actually group of people who have lived a ridiculously wild life like myself. This guy reminds me of a guy i hooked my mexican bosses up with but they where buying huge farm equipment to wash money. Anyways i love your channel man keep on killing it!

      @@InsideTrueCrimeThat is normal. You are the a talking to someone who understands synthetic identities, social engineering and how intoxicating the rush of "the win" is.
      If you didn't have a hint of the feelings from back in the day I would be shocked. As you've said many times and a recent episode you got emotional about being grateful and it hit me hard. Saying when you've had so little you were grateful for a spare room. It hit so hard because I was working a 14 hour day trying to grow my business and feeling miserable yesterday. While thankfully I've never been to prison, I have been homeless. I ended up living in a job site in an air mattress, cooking on a propane camp stove or eating PB&J with my dog. I scored a trash picked TV a few weeks in and I couldn't have been more grateful.
      The place i lived for many months was a house I was gutting and remodeling as the 08 crash hit. Pay stopped or was delayed weeks but still had a roof over my head. Climbing across floor joists to go to the tub to get a whores bath or use the bathroom was a good moment of realization that gratitude for the small things is so important. You saying what you did about gratitude and learning from your mistakes was a "quit bitching about working your own business and having to work hard moment" It made me realize how far I've came from 08 to today. Thank you for that.

    Scottie’s!? Holy shit I remember that store!! Barely. We had one in town. And yes Matt that method u were talking about is called return fraud. Still done to this day but yes now if you do t have a receipt then u must provide a DL. And they only let you do a few returns a year without a receipt.
    If you have a little bit more incentive and you’re not lazy, you will actually case the parking lot and find receipts. Go inside the store match up the items then go to the desk and return them. But you have to make sure the person paid with cash. There’s some really stupid fraud Done at retail store and there’s some pretty elaborate ones. I used to be a loss prevention manager for fortune 500 company for seven years so I’ve seen a lot of different stuff but employee theft beats every type of loss tenfold. One employee can account for 50 shoplifters combined.

    So the state of Calif doesnt call Ford Motor credit to verify that that particular vin / title # has been paid off .

    • @JeffDavis-hg2to
      @JeffDavis-hg2to 6 месяцев назад +3

      No. When a vehicle is financed with say Ford Motor Credit, the title is sent to the lein holder (FMC). When the vehicle is paid off, Ford Motor Credit will sign off the title as "satisfied" and then mail it to the vehicles registered owner. The owner then takes it to DMV and appls for a new title, free of a lienholder. Now they even have a "paperless" title that is with DMV and when the lien holder notifies DMV through their secured merchant account that the lien is satisfied, at that point DMV issues a new title to the vehicles owner with no lien attached.

    For the record most banks still allow "verification of funds" via phone automated systems, it ask for account number on bottom of check & amount, then it tells u if sufficient funds are available.
