I was convicted of 2 bank robberies from 2006. I used notes. This gentleman's description of emotions and of his senses being heightened is spot on. Very well told story. I flashed back into my experiences of banking like it was a dream. The banker's eyes and facial expressions, the hum of the air-conditioning, the keyboard strokes, the pens clicking... all of it. Sheesh. The adrenaline was like nothing else. Great work, fellas. Great prompting by you, Mr Bick. Great story telling. Dope episode, as always. Peace 💪❤️
I did bank jobs, post offices, newsagents, shops, back in the early 90’s, basically went on a mad spree until I got pinched. I never got the hyper senses or anything but the adrenaline rush was hectic. The bank jobs I did weren’t like traditional hold ups. Back in those days businesses would deposit their takings on certain days so you would sit on them and watch people coming and going for a couple of weeks to get a pattern then run up and snatch it before they hit the banks. It’s less money than going in a bank but it’s less of a charge and it still was good money, we’d just do a couple in a few hours scattered all over the city and then head back to our neighbourhood.
I live just north of Seattle and I remember all these bank robberies. I was working in the banking industry just in the next county and was a little worried about getting robbed. This has been a fantastic interview.

Thank you for doing what you doing. Keep up the good work. Shout out from Detroit the plant Man not the kind of plant most people would think I'm into growing exotic mostly carnivores plants.
As someone from Seattle it’s wild to hear names of places you know. I’m like “I’ve been to that mall, my dad worked at PSNS, I live in kitsap county.” Awesome interview as always!
My brothers & I were always close. They’re both way older 7 and 10 years but they are awesome and we’re still all close. It was a lot of just us because my parents both worked full time so… but we did get closer when we got older
I'm a branch manager of a bank... been in banking for 15 years. It does not pay to rob a bank. The risk to reward ratio is crazy. You get less time and more money robbing a bank with a pen than you do with a gun. They usually won't even press charges for kiting, bounced checks, overdrawn accounts, etc. That's where you want your risk to reward ratio to be.
@victorshear95 Is that a question? If by "everything" you mean 10+ years in federal prison, then yes... you can get everything. Your sentencing level increases depending on what you do with that gun. If you say you have a gun, that's one level. If you show a gun, that's another. Pull it out, another. Point it at someone, another. Fire a round, another. Hit someone with a round, another level. Kill someone with a round; you're never getting out... Most banks have $3,000 max in their drawer. Maybe more in another drawer. That's a crazy risk to reward ratio. Just bounce a check for $3,000, and there's no prison time.
@ChadNeveu not a typo. You are dumb and were just sounding out his last name. Best to just take the correction and just go about your day instead of coming back to double down on the dumb.

What did I miss here? He didn't even say anything about something happening? So confused
