Love these videos. But! The last time I started watching them it was an all nighter. Don’t want to do that again. thanks for the videos!!!
Dr Brian checking on Ryan’s workmate is so heartwarming. An emphasis on mental health aftercare.
Bummer I can't watch it only on youtube cause im in the states want to watch the full show
I am glad he is doing alright now.
We don’t take off until you buckle up and HaPPY!!
Im glad hes ok
I love watching these
These videos make me want to be a critical paramedic
I’m just curios, would going at heights with a chopper increase the pressure in his brain and cause more damage? Or does it have virtually no effect? Or is it simply worth it as it’s faster?
They don't seem to fly very high in the chopper so the pressure decrease would be negligible
I'm pretty sure medical helis have the right to fly much lower for that reason right there. Even if they did go higher, the limit for a heli is lower than a commercial plane so pressure wouldn't be absurdly high, but I'm sure with a brain bleed and other pressures from wounds, flying lower is very important.
Logan Hallahan yeah I’ve watched quite a few of these videos lol and yeah from what I’ve seen they don’t fly really high when they have the patient in there (I think) they just need a helicopter as it’s quicker
Curious*
As long as you're below a few thousand...you're good...any risk is worth the difference to get you to the hospital...a brain bleed will only recover with "Bright Lights and Cold Steel" (operating room) as we say in EMS...so its definitely worth the small risk...
Congrats for waking out of coma. I fell 15’ feet off a ladder onto my head onto concrete. I own a roofing company.
7 weeks in a coma. Waking up, allowing to eat, learning to walk, talk, write again.
Wow...amazing.
Looks like he's got to go back for another surgery, to get his metal plates put in, to replace the skull they've removed.
*Person who waa getting roof fixed: I just wanted my roof fixed D:*
That isn't funny atm

Hi love this channel
Not a skyrise in sight lol
Ouch
Ok but why are the fire service called to the hospital just to take him off the helicopter? Surely there’s people at the hospital already for that??
I believe they have fire service ready at the helipad just in case anything should go wrong with the helicopter, if it crashes or leaks fuel or something. They seem to be there for every helicopter drop as a precaution, they just don’t always show it on the program.
The helipad has its own fire service.
I bet with rsi more people recover from head trauma with less permanent damage
Where is his helmet, he need a helmet. Glad he's doing good.
That was probably, removed by a colleague or somebody in the vacinity.
@@jenlfpotter3870 no no a special helmet you have to wear after being injured like that. Don't know the word in English for the helmet 😉
the firm was not on the books and had sketchy ladders. a lot of firms dont wear helmets cos they dont get done for it a lot
@@Evan-Loftus really?
@@kkensh yeah it’s stupid, dk if you saw my comment but my dad was the other worker there with Ryan that day. No equipment needed not even glasses when using a saw
Paramedic for 30 years...our director didn't allow us to do RSI...🤔 I know some people love the bougie...I don't...simple old school stylet... 🤷♂️ the doctor here is very good...you can tell he's an anesthesiologist...or anesthetist, I think they're called in the UK, right? 🤔
Modern medicine is amazing. Nothing to do with gods or divinity.
@Luciphene no such thing as angels or miracles. Sorry.
Is this air ambulance ? What show is this ?

Amelia Lowden thank you
Don't workers wear any type of Safety equipment so falls like this don't happen? He could have died.
