@@thejdocrealminute4648 Hey Doc, I've been struggling with ulcers lately but have low stomach acid. I'm struggling to heal them because I've learned my body needs a certain amount of acid to ABSORB the things - l-glutamine, bone broth, etc - that help it heal. Advice?
PPIs work by reducing the amount of acid your stomach produces, preventing further damage to the ulcer as it heals naturally. They're usually prescribed for 4 to 8 weeks. Omeprazole, pantoprazole and lansoprazole are the PPIs most commonly used to treat stomach ulcers. As long as you change your diet as well.
I am doing the things you have suggested and I am feeling much better. It I don’t think the ulcer has totally healed My doctor wants me to take omeprazole but when I do I have the side effects of brain fog and fatigue. Do you think the ulcer would heal with doing all the things you have suggested without the omeprazole? Should I do both the natural things you suggested or do both the omeprazole and your suggestions?
Thank you so much for this video! I appreciate that you cover the issue of whether or not eating makes it better. Eating does make it better for me for anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. It’s a miserable and gnawing pain that feels like hunger pains on steroids. But I am confused about something. Why would acidic foods alkalize the stomach? Can you please touch on the reason for that? It seems as if acidic foods would add more acid. Thank you so much. By the way, vinegar helps me sometimes and makes it worse other times.I am desperate and my doctors have abandoned me. I have tried BP 157, which was very expensive. It didn’t help. I thought it was helping, but then I had to go get a Toradol shot back and continued taking the BPC 157 by injection. It is doing nothing now.

I want to do this naturally. My doctor tested me for H. Pylori (I’ve had it in the past) it came out negative. I’ve had to go to the ER and Urgent care within these last 2 months. I feel like I may have an ULCER based on the research I’ve done. She also wanted me to take prescribed OMEPRAZOLE, however it’s a little scary the uncertainty so, I am thinking I want to have request an endoscopy. I’m also afraid of the higher chances one can have of stomach cancer.
Thank you Doctor very much for sharing this video. I drink a glass of milk every morning for the last few months after watching this video I will stop drinking milk see how it goes. Thanks!
Thank you so much ,how you have explained if we have a ulcer, I have been listening may doctors about this situation ,you have explained so well. I appreciate. Ferdinand
How long does a stomach ulcer take to heal they found 2 in my stomach on last friday in endoscopy with acute gastritis . I'm taking diycylmine and also omeprazole prescription medication I change my diet . And was told to come back for pathology result in 2 weeks
Uncomplicated gastric ulcers take up to two or three months to heal completely. Duodenal ulcers take about six weeks to heal. An ulcer can temporarily heal without antibiotics. But it is common for an ulcer to recur or for another ulcer to form nearby, if the bacteria are not killed

And I'm a vegetarian so I can't take bone broth, Can you tell me an alternative for both ? 3) Any significant difference between ulcers and pancreatitis ? I have stomach pain (upper left side) from 2 years Thank you.
My friend cured her HP. She ate a spoon of pure manuka honey (has to be manuka) every morning (1st week she did am and pm) She had green tea with manuka honey every day. Licorice root supplement. And she ate tons of broccoli sprouts. She committed to doing this every day for almost 7 weeks before her next appt & was able to rid herself of that nasty bacteria. Maybe give some of those remedies a shot? You have to go to a place like whole foods for the manuka honey. Hope it works!

Hi Doc I need your advice I was the 27 of December last year. March this year I were diagnosed with H.pylori took antibiotics for 4 weeks in may I was really sick and ended up in the hospital I did a endoscopy and it showed a upper GI bleed and a peptic ulcer scarring. Now my biggest problem is am having burning sensation in my stomach. Chest. Throat. And back alot. Even headache at times I feel like am gonna pass out cold sweats. January 20 I have a next endoscopy the told me she will look to see if I have to get a surgery done. And my blood count was low as well. A went for a second opinion and I was told all my vitamins were depleted out my body. Please I awaited your response.
Remember: start with diet. Clean up the diet and restore the natural enzymes in your stomach. Probiotics, Black seed, Broccoli sprouts, Green Tea, Omega 3 fatty acids, reduce spicy foods and carbonated beverages.
Hello, I was diagnosed with h pylori and taking antibiotics. I CAN NOT eat ANY SOLID FOOD with out terrible pain 15 minutes later that last 6 hours plus depending how long it takes my food to digest. My doctor thinks I have inflammation I think it’s definitely a gastric ulcer. I haven’t eaten anything but bone broth and cabbage juice in 17 days and I lost 13lbs so far. I go for endoscopy in 10 days. What would you say about my condition? I would love your input. I have joined groups and searched RUclips endlessly but have not found a case like what I am going through. Also how long does it take to heal if it is an ulcer and how long if it’s just inflammation? Thank you
I eat super healthy and I’ve struggled with this for over 10 years. It’s mostly sore right at my xiphoid process, and to the right about an inch at most. I feel it when I press on it. My bloodwork all comes out great. My family doctor ruled out gallbladder (he palpated it I think and determined it was okay…) I tried ACV and HCL in the past and I would pretty quickly get a flare up and bad stomach pain. I work out in the gym and wondered if it’s a (sliding) hiatal hernia... Lots of guessing to no avail on my part. I’d love your thoughts…. It’s so frustrating. Your video is such a great analysis of causes and a really helpful protocol for addressing the issue. I’m impressed. I’ve tried almost all of these recommendations. Maybe I need to get even more strict with my dietary intake, which some might say is too strict already. Again, I’d love your thoughts.😊
@@thejdocrealminute4648 Hi, my family doctor and chiropractor have evaluated me. (Afraid to do a scope...) seems like when I do maneuvers to push my stomach down I get tremendous relief. I really think working out, doing pull ups and sit ups flares it up. My chiropractor is working on my tight psoas muscles. Apparently they connect to the vertebrae at the same junction as the diaphragm. Tightness related… I’m also really trying to work on my posture. When I sit erect when I eat and for several hours afterwards it tremendously helps with digestion. I’m sure there’s no guaranteed quick fix or a magic pill, but if there was one I’d sign up for it ☺️
Pain , bloating and belching happens after I eat. Dr. Thought it could be an ulcer and put me on acid reducers. It worked for like a week and now I’m in pain again. Only after eating and and at night. Pain is so bad I sweat. Could it be low acid then? Before my diagnoses sometimes I would have wine and it actually made the pain go away and then encourage me to eat.
I am still following the suggestions you shared for the past several weeks. I am feeling better but I am still losing weight. Do you have any suggestions that can help me gain some weight?
I have been doing the things you suggested for a month and a half. How will I know if the ulcer is healed? Also what foods would be good to increase my caloric count? I don’t want to eat anything that would trigger another ulcer. I still need to gain weight. Thank you for this video. My GI doctor just pushed the drugs. Thank you for this video!
Can you recommend a good brand of L Glutamine powder? I have been using Aloe Vera juice and probiotics for H pylori and an ulcer. The antibiotics prescribed were really expensive and made it worse and the Omeprazole made me extremely tired and inexperienced brain fog. I have learned a lot from your video. I wish more doctors offered these solutions.
Thank you so much.I was ulcer patient with h pylori I have taken 3 month medicine include HP kit . After stoping the medicine my symptoms are back. What I do now sir ??
Doctor what do you recommend for blood in stool? That’s an ulcer right? ER doctors don’t help. CT scan shows everything’s normal. But I’m bleeding on the inside I know it.
Is it dark stool or light color stool? Dark stool is 'way up there' --- Light color stool --is 'at the end'. Also, Bile salts in the intestines give stool its usual brown color. Stool that is light-colored (either pale, white, grey, or clay-colored) could indicate a lack of bile in the stool. A blockage of the bile ducts from gallstones, or a condition affecting your gallbladder, liver, or pancreas, can cause decreased bile output.
After my last meal of the day I eat a kiwi then down a glass of water.. deffo feel it boosting the acid but as someone who has hiatal hernia I also drink a ginger tea 10 or so minutes after to keep the bile down.. hard work to figure out but it's working for me
Okay so i have the symtpoms of pain after eating. I tried the apple cider vinegar in water and it did not burn. It actually felt good. So now im lost lol.
Ace-inhibitors and diuretics -- If you are taking angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors or diuretics to regulate blood pressure, do not use licorice products. Licorice could interfere with the effectiveness of these medications or could worsen possible side effects.
Thank you for this video. I had h pylori for a year during lockdown could not go to the hospital, felt crap. Got the antibiotics took both therapies but still feel sick burning when I eat it goes but then comes back.. I then had a endoscopy they said there were no ulcers but I still feel bad. I’ll take your ideas on board.
I totally understand & I'm so sorry! I need to go to the hospital but I have asthma. I refuse to have a swab shoved into my brain & I can't wear a mask. Everything is horrible & inhumane 😢

Can ulcers also be caused by taking an HCL supplement at too high of a concentration? I had low stomach acid for several years and was put on an HCL supplement that I tolerated very well for 9 months but then it went out of stock and had to switch to a brand with a higher concentration. My nutritionist thought that if I just took fewer doses during the day it would be equivalent to the old brand. Unfortunately, a week later I developed extreme stomach pain then two months later had it diagnosed as an ulcer.
Love this video. I have gastritis and when I try to sleep it flares up with increased heart rate and end up not sleeping the whole night. Just had a tablespoon of ACV 30min ago and I feel better. Does it mean it's not an ulcer?
I'm on 40mg omeprazole and 40mg famotidine, not sure if this is enough? But I don't know if they're ulcers as I've not had the endoscopy. Can you get erosive gastritis just at certain parts of the stomach? Thanks
You need to get an endoscopy to see IF it is erosive gastritis and the location. Yes, there are various parts of the stomach lining that it can be found. In the meantime, veryhealthy.life/12-possible-gastritis-causes/?Bgastritis&PossibleGastritisCauses&

You're so welcome!
Thank you Doctor for sharing this tip.Am having serious pain caused by ulcer at the moment.am going to try your tips.
Always welcome
I can't see the supplements sir.... I need it
What about PPI medicine? what's your opinion?
PPIs work by reducing the amount of acid your stomach produces, preventing further damage to the ulcer as it heals naturally. They're usually prescribed for 4 to 8 weeks. Omeprazole, pantoprazole and lansoprazole are the PPIs most commonly used to treat stomach ulcers. As long as you change your diet as well.
Well explained, a true professional. Kind personality.

Hey ppl how do I know if my ulcers
In my stomach healed
Thanks for the info, Doc 🙏 What Antibiotic should I take if I got H Pylori? And does antibiotic guaratee this ulcer will never come back again?
That is a question you need to ask your Primary Doctor.
Best Video I have seen about this topic!🎉🎉 Thank you!!
Healing an ulcer takes time. I always recommend doing things naturally first.
And what if my acid is hurting me but I do have an ulcer from over eating?
Sir, do you advise we take honey ?
Does having a stomach ulcer mean that you cannot drink alcohol even after the ulcer has healed?
Not necessarily. Heal the ulcer first.
Thank you for this I messed up my stomach with iron pills
I've been suffering from stomach ulcers and it gets worse. I've tried so many treatment, but nothing works. Several pain in my stomach right now. I don't know what else to do
I get acid reflux, my stomach feels sour, food takes long to digest, and migraine headaches after eating. So does that mean I don't have an ulcer?
I want to do this naturally. My doctor tested me for H. Pylori (I’ve had it in the past) it came out negative. I’ve had to go to the ER and Urgent care within these last 2 months. I feel like I may have an ULCER based on the research I’ve done. She also wanted me to take prescribed OMEPRAZOLE, however it’s a little scary the uncertainty so, I am thinking I want to have request an endoscopy. I’m also afraid of the higher chances one can have of stomach cancer.
Start to clean up the diet.
Kindly how is ur situation now?
Kindly share
Thank you Doctor very much for sharing this video. I drink a glass of milk every morning for the last few months after watching this video I will stop drinking milk see how it goes. Thanks!

But coconut milk helped me a lot!
what about green tea 🍵..

Thank you so much ,how you have explained if we have a ulcer, I have been listening may doctors about this situation ,you have explained so well. I appreciate. Ferdinand

Can I take L-Glutamine supplements if I can’t get the powder?

How long does a stomach ulcer take to heal they found 2 in my stomach on last friday in endoscopy with acute gastritis . I'm taking diycylmine and also omeprazole prescription medication I change my diet . And was told to come back for pathology result in 2 weeks
Uncomplicated gastric ulcers take up to two or three months to heal completely. Duodenal ulcers take about six weeks to heal. An ulcer can temporarily heal without antibiotics. But it is common for an ulcer to recur or for another ulcer to form nearby, if the bacteria are not killed
Oh fkg hell ... Imma fry a plate of bacon reading this lol! I've never eaten bland food in my life - this is absolute torture 😛 Everything I'm allowed to eat is revolting to me.
Hello! I wanted to ask 3 things.
1) What's the best test for H.pylori ?
2) I always get hives from Aloe vera juice. And I'm a vegetarian so I can't take bone broth, Can you tell me an alternative for both ?
3) Any significant difference between ulcers and pancreatitis ? I have stomach pain (upper left side) from 2 years
Thank you.
My friend cured her HP.
She ate a spoon of pure manuka honey (has to be manuka) every morning (1st week she did am and pm)
She had green tea with manuka honey every day.
Breath test that 100 percent accurate for h pylori
@@roxannelam795 lol Actually, a biopsy is the most accurate way to test for HP, depending on who you ask but that doesn't matter.
I have a specialist who went above and beyond, tested multiple ways for a multitude of things including bacterias most doctors have never even heard of.
I do not have HP.
Yes that more accurate but to no if the h pylori is gone from ur stomach u have to do a breath test
@@roxannelam795 My doc isn't a traditional GI. I have a specialist. I've had blood tests, biopsies and the breath test. I've never even had HP. Never had a positive test for it.
How are you now
This was really really good explanation. Thank you so much.

Thank you
Off the bat----an ulcer. Yes, you HAVE inflammation ---- that is why it hurts. draxe.com/health/h-pylori/
How are you now ?
Stream green and cabbage juice celery juice and ginger tea help me alot
I understand Licorice root is dangerous to take for more than a few weeks.
I always recommend taking some time off a supplement.
True all supplements are if abused, take it sparingly unless you want heart issues.
COULD be a Hiatal Hernia? Sounds like it .... Have you had a Professional exam it?
@@thejdocrealminute4648 Hi, my family doctor and chiropractor have evaluated me. (Afraid to do a scope...) seems like when I do maneuvers to push my stomach down I get tremendous relief. I really think working out, doing pull ups and sit ups flares it up. My chiropractor is working on my tight psoas muscles. Apparently they connect to the vertebrae at the same junction as the diaphragm. Tightness related… I’m also really trying to work on my posture. When I sit erect when I eat and for several hours afterwards it tremendously helps with digestion. I’m sure there’s no guaranteed quick fix or a magic pill, but if there was one I’d sign up for it ☺️
U av stomach ulcer
Pain , bloating and belching happens after I eat. Dr. Thought it could be an ulcer and put me on acid reducers. It worked for like a week and now I’m in pain again. Only after eating and and at night. Pain is so bad I sweat. Could it be low acid then? Before my diagnoses sometimes I would have wine and it actually made the pain go away and then encourage me to eat.
It could be? -- start with working on the pH of you stomach. And watch the diet.
I am still following the suggestions you shared for the past several weeks. I am feeling better but I am still losing weight. Do you have any suggestions that can help me gain some weight?
Increase your caloric count
How did aloe Vera work for you?
@@lauriearthur8240 it worked really well.
Great video. thanks doctor
Glad you liked it!
Thank you so much.I was ulcer patient with h pylori I have taken 3 month medicine include HP kit . After stoping the medicine my symptoms are back. What I do now sir ??
Change diet -- first and foremost. You may want to include DGL licorice and Probiotics.
This helped so much thanks
Glad it helped! Thank you for your support.
H pylori? And nobody is talking about Shigella Spp ?
Cranberry juice made it massively worse. Not sure what that means. It gets worse when i eat anything fried or oily.
Thank you Dr! God bless you for this content
Same to you!
Great video quick question do you do the Apple cider vinegar before a meal first thing in the morning or after meal thank you in advance
I always recommend taking it on an empty stomach.

How did you recover?
Hey Doc just saw the vid the 1st time i have ulcer although still waiting for my appt. can i add honey as a sweetner for the cabbage juice?
Yes you can. as long as it is 'Natural Organic' Honey.

can a stomach ulcer create pain under the left rib (versus center above bellybutton)?
Sure, it can travel.
Hello, my doctor prescribed me Pantoprazole, can I still take Licorice Root tablets?
Ace-inhibitors and diuretics -- If you are taking angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors or diuretics to regulate blood pressure, do not use licorice products. Licorice could interfere with the effectiveness of these medications or could worsen possible side effects.
Can I eat boil eggs? 🥚 I ate chicken and rise a simple meal no seasoning and it burn 🔥 so bad. Should I avoid meat ?
can you have hpylori if you take ACV and feel better? Doesn't Hpylori grow in high alkaline environment? so, Hpylori but no ulcers?
Sure....it is possible...

Hi Dr Jawad I’m almost positive I have stomach ulcers thanks for all your great advice do you also recommend a probiotic?
Yes, absolutely
Great video. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Correct --- that IS a possibility.
Can symptoms remain many years after h Plyrio eradicate
Love this video. I have gastritis and when I try to sleep it flares up with increased heart rate and end up not sleeping the whole night. Just had a tablespoon of ACV 30min ago and I feel better. Does it mean it's not an ulcer?
That is a tough question to answer.

My doctors have been aweful. They haven’t given me apppropriate testing and just keep sticking me on different meds. I’m on PPIs and h2 blockers. Will all of this work whilst taking these meds? I think by the sounds of it is an ulcer. Probably stress/alcohol induced. I had a stool test for h pylori and it was negative. I had to do my own research and ask for this as they didn’t offer it -.- sounds like they have no idea what they are doing
Sorry to hear about your situation. Yes, I always recommend my viewers to do your research to bring to your Doctors. Often times, You/Viewer has to 'tell' your Doctor that you WANT additional testing done.
