I used to have chronic diarrhea from bile acid malabsorption caused by SIBO. I had to figure this out on my own, because no doctor was able to properly diagnose me. The biggest problem is that after the initial large or medium amount of stool comes out, there's always a few extra little pieces that don't want to come out, and I've developed hemorrhoids straining to try to get the last bits out. I even sometimes have to get up and walk around a bit before they come down low enough to be pushed out. And sometimes there's a small amount of watery stool residue that I have to strain to get out after the solid stools have come out, and it takes 30 minutes before it stops. FROM THE INTERNET: Tauroursodeoxycholic acid (TUDCA) may actually help prevent cancer and reduce the spread of cancer cells: Hepatocarcinogenesis TUDCA may prevent hepatocarcinogenesis by reducing inflammation and cell death caused by carcinogens. Metastatic breast cancer TUDCA may reduce the spread of metastatic breast cancer cells by decreasing the expression of matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-7 and −13. Colitis-associated colon cancer TUDCA may reduce colitis-associated colon cancer by inhibiting nuclear factor kappaB signaling. ####### However, high exposure to bile acids, including TUDCA, has been linked to an increased risk of cancer in the esophagus, stomach, pancreas, liver, and other organs.

AFTER OR BEFORE? I am somwh confused, but it kinda make more sense to me to take Ox bile before the meal so it can pass through stomach quick and avoid to meet with stomach acid and alkalize the stomach. Bile should be in duodenum before the food and acid rushes in, so it can take effect and break it down. I can't imagine how will ox bile work after the meal while food is halfway there and the bile will just get mixed with the acid in the stomach, make a sizzle and do nothing to the food. And also I noticed in another video "when not to take bile salts" you said that bile salts should be taken before a meal, not after. So what is the right way?

Are u taking about the Betaine HCL or the Ox Bile??? You do not make it clear..b/c in one sentence you are talking about low stomach acid to digest food w/the HCL and then you talk about dosages after you eat, so which are you talking about pleaase? What do you wait on and see to take?
This is wrong - you need to take Ox Bile on an empty stomach also if you can. Taking it with food it will be dealt with in the stomach and drop the alkalinity while you are trying to digest food. Taking it on an empty stomach (or at least between meals) more of it gets straight into the duodenum, which is where you want it.

One comes from an Ox or cow and Tudca comes from a bear. There I'm glad I cleared that up. Lol. All funny aside I've been taking Tudca and I feel better also taking B1. The B1 has giving me more energy than anything I've ever taking. Unreal honestly.
Most TUDCA doesn’t use bear bile anymore as it’s absolutely horrific what they do to the bears to get their bile. Most TUDCA now is synthetic
I have questions.
I heard that some studies link every day consume of tudca with colon cancer. I take tudca for liver enzymes, and now I'm confused
FROM THE INTERNET:
Tauroursodeoxycholic acid (TUDCA) may actually help prevent cancer and reduce the spread of cancer cells:
Hepatocarcinogenesis
TUDCA may prevent hepatocarcinogenesis by reducing inflammation and cell death caused by carcinogens.
Metastatic breast cancer
TUDCA may reduce the spread of metastatic breast cancer cells by decreasing the expression of matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-7 and −13.
Colitis-associated colon cancer
TUDCA may reduce colitis-associated colon cancer by inhibiting nuclear factor kappaB signaling.
#######
However, high exposure to bile acids, including TUDCA, has been linked to an increased risk of cancer in the esophagus, stomach, pancreas, liver, and other organs.
I wondered about that as well. Was hoping he would answer this question
Dr I had my gallbladder removed about 10 years ago ever since I did I have had problems with my health they never gave me a medicine nor followed up with me since than I have had bad blood work results and health what should I do ?
I would recommend taking Ox Bile during a big meal and TUDCA on an empty stomach. Watch my other videos as well.
I’m taking urso for PBC.
Would taking tudca in addition to urso be beneficial?
Yes, it would. Taking them both would be beneficial. I have a patient 24 yoa male --- recently diagnosed with PBC. I want to do a video on that soon. It is an interesting condition. I am sorry you have that.
Thank you! Exactly what I needed to know!
Glad it was helpful!
Hi I’m currently taking nac for liver health. I have multiple alcohol drinks a week and would like to try tudca. I am young and healthy, not sure if tudca would help ? I’m afraid of the purging or a bad reaction. I have a bottle of tudca now but have been turned off by reading bad side effects.
Why not give it a try? If someone asked you to try a new 'drink' ---- you probably would?
@@thejdocrealminute4648 absolutely! I’ll report back in a few weeks
My Grandson was born with Billary Atresia with failing Kasai and Doctors did put a tube in when he was born,But he is now 20 yrs old and he still has problems with his liver and his number are at 14 right now and we were told he would have a transplant if his numbers reach 18 and do you think Ox bile or Tudca would help him.
Great thanks
You are welcome...
I can not see the brand names on the bottles he showed. Can anybody read them and tell me?
Tudca interacts with thyroid medications. Any suggestions?
Take it later in the day.
If I am fasting (no gallbladder) to induce apoptosis in breast cancer cells is Tudca counterproductive and I should stick to ox bile only?
Take both.
Fantastic Video! So helpful! Thank You Doc!!!
What to take if you have multiple small gallstones and some polyps?
Include serrapeptase as well. ruclips.net/video/3wWxRp_BvX4/видео.htmlsi=Mab-It5hvwM7U6ov

IF only ONE choice? TUDCA.

Hey Doc... I've had my gallbladder removed and was never taught this info. My stomach burns and seems to reach my throat. It gets worst at night. Feels like a pain is even running down my back if lying on it. My doctor just said take prilosec which i think is BS. Any suggestions would help greatly.... I'm lost

@thejdocrealminute4648 should I take betaine hcl +pepsin and ultra-zyme. If so, when please.....or should I take prilosec like the doctor says
during the meal. Has to contain proteins.@@Lee-fy1bs
If someone has Gilbert Syndrome, they often have an increase in bilirubin, do they need to consume ox bile and/or Tudca? Appreciate your opine.
TUDCA & Ox bile are good if you have GS.

Double wood is my choice also.
Make sure to soften gallstones first before using Tudca‼️‼️‼️👀

I haven't used my Tudca yet!!! I'm too nervous! Do research. I believe.it.involves drinking a few glasses of apple juice for days before. I even bought the organic apple juice
The thing is, I've been managing my gallstones for 8 long years, it only aches occasionally, so I still know there's a serious problem. I just don't want to wind up with an emergency surgery. You're supposed to take Tudca on an empty stomach so it can work for your gallstones, people have reported about 6 hrs later you get a gallbladder attack, pretty sickly, but then feel absolutely amazing right after! Makes sense, it's like any detox, even when you fast, you feel pretty sickly.before feeling much better than before .

I’ve been carnivore since end of May, then in July I stopped taking my birth control & diarrhea showed up & has not left. Not sure if it’s the bc or the diet. Could be both… I’ve tried ox bile, digestive enzymes, probiotics, & cutting back fat, nothing has worked. Please help me
People with no gallbladder can we take ox bile and tudca together
Yes, You should take them together for the rest of your life. At least, Ox bile take for the rest of your life.
Ok..I went vegan 10 yrs ago to stay off dialysis..got my GFR back up to 43-45.I have had my gallbladder removed 29 yrs ago..been suffering with constipating since. What would be best for me OxBile..or Tudca! Help!Thank you!
From watching a lot of videos of bile and ox-bile and Tudca, I noticed with those gallbladder removed, ox-bole would work for them and tudca for those who still have their gallbladder.
What does it mean if you take Tudca in the morning before you eat anything and you start to feel nauseous for a little bit and it goes away
Im 60 yro 226 lb im 5’ 2” i have fatty liver hypothyroid i take omeprazole 40 mg for acid reflux i was taking tudca 1000 mg but stoped cause i was not sure about taking it. Thank you for explaining differences between tudca and oxbile now i know what each is for and how to take it.
Please look up Omeprazole and low functioning gallbladder. It could be part of your gallbladder problem. It was for me. Also look into taking digestive enzymes when you eat instead of taking acid blockers. Take care I hope this helps you.
Thanks x
You’re welcome 😊
Is TUDCA actually made of bear bile or is it from a synthetic source?
TUDCA, which is a specific compound that has been only discovered in bear bile so far and does not appear in the other animal bile samples, was also detected in artificial bear bile, which reduces apoptosis by modulation of AP-1 and shows anticholestatic effect
Wow that was such a convoluted answer. In short Tudca is synthetic and NOT made from bears, plain and simple 😂
@@micaonyx5301 That rare case when its effect is almost identical to natural bear bile
My knowledge is reputable companies don’t use bear bile anymore since it’s extremely inhumane. It’s a synthetic version these days.
Thank you

Taurus. Never evaluated how Taurus would do as a doctor. I suppose, being determined, stubborn, having career tenacity far more than the others...yeah. Lots of Taurus into sports and physical power so, probably more sports medicine. They tend to be clumsy and get hurt a lot, not nearly as much as Sagittarius but still, they'd have medical exposure.
I am 21 years old after chronic urine I fection and antibiotics I developed acid relfux undigested stool issues it cause by bile problems I am taking betaine hcl 3 to 4 tablets before each meal but not getting a good relief
Take more 🤷🏻♂️
AFTER OR BEFORE?
Research --- has shown: Right Before the meal/during the meal --- yes. Bile is released ONCE the food passes into the small intestines.
@@thejdocrealminute4648 Nice. Can you make a video on timing and dosage for taking ox bile without having gallbladder. I heard 1h-2h after the meal or on empty stomach. But details are vague. That would be helpful...
I have a video already made. Ox bile should be taken WITH a meal that contains a good amount 25 grams of protein.@@araboy7474
I have very low stomach acid... wouldn't taking ox bile before or during my meal make my stomach even more alkaline and lower the acid? I take bile an hour or more after my meals. I'm also taking TUDCA to clear gallbladder sludge and help with digestion. Am I doing this correctly considering my low acid?
Take TUDCA on an empty stomach. Take Ox bile WITH your meal. Once the food passes through the stomach.....that is when it is very important. If you need to work on stomach pH ---ruclips.net/video/yiK9FL5wc-s/видео.htmlsi=ltXS6xJf33vMqz1O@@lovemyishi7144

You got me confused at the 9:10-17 mark...which supplement are you exactly talking about when u talk about playing around with the dosage and timing? Are u taking about the Betaine HCL or the Ox Bile??? You do not make it clear..b/c in one sentence you are talking about low stomach acid to digest food w/the HCL and then you talk about dosages after you eat, so which are you talking about pleaase? What do you wait on and see to take?
I have no gallbladder. Now. So Ox bile only ? No need for Tudca?
TUDCA -- empty stomach.......Ox bile WITH meals..
❤
10:37 TUDCA .
Just answer the question.
Not tudca is synthetici heard
Gallblader does not make bile, it’s made by the liver.
Correct ---STORED AND CONCENTRATED 20X---in the gallbladder.. ruclips.net/video/Vb-MVe046nw/видео.htmlsi=Mk1IsR4RmJjwSlbD ---watch this..
Does tequila work to acidify the stomach?
Nothing wrong with high cholesterol. Old fashioned belief. Catch up.
I agree...

Wrong TUDCA is synthetic.
They are synthetically made these days
Most companies if reputable use a synthetic version these days due to this reason.
