I am a long-time dyed in the wool conservative. I started my research into food and health in 2014 after my mother died from cancer at age 60. She didn’t drink, she never smoked, and she always did her best to follow the dietary guidelines. It was then that I began to understand the extraordinary corruption there is in the USDA and FDA collaborating with the pharmaceutical and agricultural giants. It was then, and is still now, appalling!! At that time, I learned that the food safety and pharmaceutical reform movement was a Democrat issue. Ummm … WHAT? Why is health a political movement. I am so happy that Mr Kennedy, Mr, Means, and Dr. Means are collaborating for the health of America. I hope and pray that all of us (and there are a LARGE number) who have been talking to our friends and family and each other about this problem, begin speaking up outside of our circle and can be of assistance to reform our food and pharma in this nation.

It wasn't until the last couple of years of a 35-year career as a registered occupational therapist that I started seeing the autistic kids that RFK Jr talks about, the real severe ones, so difficult to work with and sad and frustrating for their families and caregivers. I also had a rental with an austistic child and parent who lived downstairs who was considered higher-level but could not be left alone, was nonverbal, and only able to watch 2 cartoon video tapes and he was 18 years old. It's an important area to me personally to be looked into, I've had quite a bit of experience with it but it left me with more questions than answers.

I am a long-time dyed in the wool conservative. I started my research into food and health in 2014 after my mother died from cancer at age 60. She didn’t drink, she never smoked, and she always did her best to follow the dietary guidelines. It was then that I began to understand the extraordinary corruption there is in the USDA and FDA collaborating with the pharmaceutical and agricultural giants. It was then, and is still now, appalling!! At that time, I learned that the food safety and pharmaceutical reform movement was a Democrat issue. Ummm … WHAT? Why is health a political movement. I am so happy that Mr Kennedy, Mr, Means, and Dr. Means are collaborating for the health of America. I hope and pray that all of us (and there are a LARGE number) who have been talking to our friends and family and each other about this problem, begin speaking up outside of our circle and can be of assistance to reform our food and pharma in this nation.
I too became aware of this issue. And became a label reader. Continously put out info to my friends and family to become aware and search for themselves. Why were all these chemicals allowed in our food yet banned in other countries. I thought it was so backwards. If anything, the US should be the leader in this. It wasn't until the last couple of years of a 35-year career as a registered occupational therapist that I started seeing the autistic kids that RFK Jr talks about, the real severe ones, so difficult to work with and sad and frustrating for their families and caregivers. I also had a rental with an austistic child and parent who lived downstairs who was considered higher-level but could not be left alone, was nonverbal, and only able to watch 2 cartoon video tapes and he was 18 years old. It's an important area to me personally to be looked into, I've had quite a bit of experience with it but it left me with more questions than answers.

American's have a choice to be healthy every time we shop.
Buy local produce and organic if possible.
And avoid processed food on your own.
No one is forcing you to be unhealthy.
