Fifty years ago, as an archaeology student, I encountered a scholarly, but very readable book about the Peloponnesian War. The author was Victor D. Hanson. Even then the rot afflicting American academia was noticeable, and to escape it I transferred to engineering school and had a career as a Navy ship designer ever since. I'm now old and infirm so unlikely to participate in the renaissance of American arms I'm hoping will come to us with Mr. Trump in charge. But my vote was not wasted.

Liberal isn’t even considered cool anymore and they’re just more respectful to everyone, even those who do have the same views but of course once the other’s feel like they’ve lost the debate, that’s when all the cursing and vulgar language begins to being yelled at you or anyone around. The Ground News app is helpful when vetting if a story is biased, which way it may lean or if it’s not true at all. It’s a great app and it gives many right, center right, center, center left, leftists and independent new source’s as well. I find that the only way to truly understand what’s going on regarding any matter without any political spin, as I remember but it was long ago and some may not even could imagine a time like that. I voted against trump in 2016. In 2019, Victor Davis Hanson recorded an interview titled "The Case for Trump" and it rearranged my entire world view. I had been slowly waking up already but Victor's wisdom was like a cold splash of water. I'm in debt to his insight and I'm so happy that Victor gets to enjoy this historic comeback with the rest of us.

Another vote for Thomas Sowell here. He's been an eye-opener for me. Interestingly (IMO), I looked up any books by these two in local libraries (UK, v.large city). I found only one by Sowell, on basic economics, and two by Hanson on Greek military history. None of their political or sociological commentary. So I thought I'd look up a left-wing US political commentator. It took me a while to think of one, then I remembered Noam Chomsky, who has been quite outspoken against Trump. I remember him from my studies in linguistics and expected to find a lot of his books about that. Sure enough I found seventeen books, five on linguistics and twelve on his political ideas! No wonder we get a biased view of the world, if even public libraries promulgate only left-wing politics.

I understand that persons point. Terminology is important. For example …a threat to democracy… we r a constitutional republic not a democracy. Or illegal migrant/ immigrant is an oxymoron it is illegal alien. So when we keep saying America when it is United states the implication is wrong. Fifty years ago, as an archaeology student, I encountered a scholarly, but very readable book about the Peloponnesian War. The author was Victor D. Hanson. Even then the rot afflicting American academia was noticeable, and to escape it I transferred to engineering school and had a career as a Navy ship designer ever since. I'm now old and infirm so unlikely to participate in the renaissance of American arms I'm hoping will come to us with Mr. Trump in charge. But my vote was not wasted.

Another thing about President-Elect Trump he doesn’t believe in wasting greatness and why wouldn’t you want to hear from Victor D. Hanson regarding his thoughts on certain matter’s.

There’s some like Fox or Sky News but also the podcasts by Meghan Kelly, Tricia Tegan Report who are more moderate or independent and then DailyWire w/ Ben Shapiro, Matt Walsh, Michael Knowles, Andrew Klavan who are conservatives but at different degrees and then they also have Brett Coooer who’s young and like Ben she graduated from UCLA by 16-17, was homeschooled with other homeschooled children but they were involved in more extracurricular activities than public schools even offer anymore. The Ivy League’s or any University won’t tell you that half of their scholarships are homeschooled children because they’re grades plus their test score’s are off the chart’s. Then they were taught to think critically so indoctrination and propaganda means nothing to them. That’s why 18-27 year olds registered and voted conservatives because most are moderates. Liberal isn’t even considered cool anymore and they’re just more respectful to everyone, even those who do have the same views but of course once the other’s feel like they’ve lost the debate, that’s when all the cursing and vulgar language begins to being yelled at you or anyone around. The Ground News app is helpful when vetting if a story is biased, which way it may lean or if it’s not true at all. It’s a great app and it gives many right, center right, center, center left, leftists and independent new source’s as well. I find that the only way to truly understand what’s going on regarding any matter without any political spin, as I remember but it was long ago and some may not even could imagine a time like that. I know I’ve gone on and on but I do like what was discussed and I do want the Australian 🇦🇺 people to understand we as Americans 🇺🇸 stand with you as friends. Now if we can get some of the people to stop with all the rhetoric that (as proven by shots at President Elect Trump with one hitting his ear) affects unstable people the most who are in need of mental help not the media’s lie’s that their mind can’t critique or critically think about what’s being said. I voted against trump in 2016. In 2019, Victor Davis Hanson recorded an interview titled "The Case for Trump" and it rearranged my entire world view. I had been slowly waking up already but Victor's wisdom was like a cold splash of water. My wife a physician of 30 years gets so stressed out when she tries to listen to the new that I listen to but with you she is able to calm down and focus and understand. Interestingly (IMO), I looked up any books by these two in local libraries (UK, v.large city). I found only one by Sowell, on basic economics, and two by Hanson on Greek military history. None of their political or sociological commentary. So I thought I'd look up a left-wing US political commentator. It took me a while to think of one, then I remembered Noam Chomsky, who has been quite outspoken against Trump. I remember him from my studies in linguistics and expected to find a lot of his books about that. Sure enough I found seventeen books, five on linguistics and twelve on his political ideas! No wonder we get a biased view of the world, if even public libraries promulgate only left-wing politics.

The US government is actually using the name of the continent. We are US citizens and citizens of the United States. Everyone in North America, Central America, South America, the Americas and the American continent is an American like Asia are Asians, Africa are Africans and Europe are Europeans. What happened first? The United States of America or the American continent? The United States of America became a nation on the date of July 4th of 1776 and the whole entire continent was already named America after Amerigo Vespucci in the year 1507 that was 269 years difference way before the United States of America became a nation. Europe has 50 countries, Asia has 51 countries, Africa has 54 countries, Oceania has 14 countries and America is not a country America is a continent of 35 countries in total. Why are people not educated about America? ............The reason why people come here to the United States from all over the world is because the US government goes to their countries and controls and manipulates their governments. The US government and its allies aka puppets invade small countries 10 or more against 1 small country not even bigger than Texas. Many people are looking for work praying to God not to find a job. People just want just want handouts. The more money you give them the more they want. I understand that persons point. Terminology is important. For example …a threat to democracy… we r a constitutional republic not a democracy. Or illegal migrant/ immigrant is an oxymoron it is illegal alien. So when we keep saying America when it is United states the implication is wrong. This North American continent is more than the United States. So when u use the wrong term like democracy rather than constitutional republic then citizens forget what they really function under and slowly creeping up is we become a democracy with all its threats to inalienable rights. If we use illegal immigrant instead if illegal alien we become complicit in putting on that politically correct straight jacket on ourselves and so say bye bye to freedom of speech and thought. I was a Marine A-6 and A-4 attack pilot for 13 years including 55 combat missions in support of our unfortunate South Vietnamese Allies, and an F-4 fighter/reconnaissance pilot in the Air National Guard for 14 years. I have tremendous admiration and respect for the US Navy Sailors that I was so fortunate to have served with on USS Coral Sea, and in Navy Training Squadron 25 at Beeville, Texas. My dad and my uncle were WWII USN Hospital Corpsmen. My uncle served with the Marines in the bloody battle for Iwo Jima. On Friday in Denver at our annual Marine Corps Birthday luncheon, there will be one reserved seat of honor at every table for a Navy Corpsman, our courageous "Docs".
