Best lecture on the effects of bile on stool. This video came at the right time but what about the timing of taking ox bile for someone with no gallbladder ??? My gallbladder was removed 10 years ago and was constipated my entire life until now that I don't have a gallbladder. I've been in a catabolic state for about 4 years. My bowel movements are not formed and are very wet and soft and thick, oily but sticky at the same time. The sticky and oily features are classic sign of fat malabsorption.

What? This is the opposite of what Dr Berg says. I’m so confused now. I suffer constipation. I but bought the bike was helping. Now I don’t know what to do. I still have my gallbladder.
Yes, I know. We agree on some things and disagree GREATLY on others. Here is our video on constipation that should give you more insights: ruclips.net/video/UYWYd1xHnfY/видео.html
I take hcl so have never taken ox bile. Also I didn't know when to take it to keep from cancelling out my acid. Now I'm thinking it may be the anabolic state thing! I can fall asleep if I get still for 30 seconds-- I've been like that most of my life and I'm 73. So that would mean I need to get my circadian rhythm fixed?

You want to learn to run the simple self-tests we teach in my book, or in our free digestion course here: kickitnaturally.com/course the course also shows you how to correct those imbalances if you do indeed appear to be dealing with one.

Can lack of bile flow ever lead to constipation? I have constipation and gallbladder pain/right shoulder pain? I thought that my constipation could be caused by lack of bile but it sounds like if my lack of bile flow should be leading to a more diarrhea state rather than constipation.
It can in a round about way. But in most cases, both sides of digestion need help, and there may also be imbalances that are magnifying the constipation issues. your best bet could be to go through our totally free digestion course because that will walk you through figuring out which aspects of digestion are not working correctly and what steps will help you the most. When I take ox bile, away from food, I get diarrhea and it feels like my fecal impaction drastically reduced in size affer I pass it. I also take betaine hcl with my food. It seems I get constipated if I do not take ox bile. However, TUDCA constipates me. What is happening lol
Sounds like a possibility. Our video on constipation could help as well in case other factors are contributing: ruclips.net/video/UYWYd1xHnfY/видео.html
It's alkaline and if you take it with food then your stomach acidity will be decreased, which you don't need because the acidity breaks down our food properly and helps with extracting the nutrients. And then when it's too alkaline, it slows down the stool moving through the Intestinal tract, causing constipation. In most cases, stomach acidity must be addressed in addition to the bile flow. If ox bile is causing constipation issues, you need to stop it and address issues. Bacterial overgrowth is also a possible issue. They release a waste that is alkaline and this can reduce stomach acidity and function, too. We need to support our Circadian rhythm cycles which also affect us being in a catabolic or anabolic state at the proper times that encourage good health and proper bodily functions. With most chronic constipation issues, the person is stuck in an anabolic state- where the body sends more water to the kidneys and less to the bowels. Basically, chronic issues need a systematic approach for treating, resolving.. which need to be catered to the individual's needs. If you don't have chronic constipation, and only noticed constipation started after using the ox bile, then you won't have to go that far into it to resolve it.
@@ThisIsNotMyHome I had to watch the second half of this video a second time, and your reply was extremely helpful too. You perfectly described my problem, but I am not on any kind of bile supplements. I recognized the symptoms clearly, but I had to figure out how this information applied to me. I have been dealing with chronic constipation for probably my whole adult life, and I am now 53. I am trying to lose weight, and this constipation has been a confounding issue each time. Dr. Berg has a really brilliant video that explains how constipation stalls weight loss. Some years ago, I got in the habit of eating a cup of berries every morning. It may have been the only time in my adult life when I was absolutely regular, going every morning. It's been at least 8 years, maybe even longer, so I can't remember why I stopped, but it probably had something to do with the carbs. I have re-added the berries to my daily routine, because addressing this constipation issue is more important than nitpicking the carb count. Per some other videos, I have added a tablespoon of coconut oil (or olive oil) each morning, or a can of sardines in olive oil. Among the benefits is lubrication of the intestines to allow better movement. Yet another thing I am going to do is start taking enzymes again with foods that I think are likely to constipate me. What he described in this video, and what you discussed in your post also, about the body directing most of the water intake to the kidneys instead of to the digestive system is exactly what I think is happening to me. I kept wondering why I kept increasing my water intake and just peeing it out while still remaining constipated. This has been a learning experience for sure, but hopefully I am putting in place habits that will keep me regular.
@@Fixyourfatigue I had to watch it again too! He described my situation perfectly, but I am not on any bile supplements. I had to try to figure out what this information meant for me, because I have been dealing with this specific problems he discussed in this video.

As I Understand, something like TUDCA will not help thin out bile, does it improve bile flow tho?
We use tudca to replace bile. Here is our video on improving bile flow: ruclips.net/video/mBdV6ZT9woQ/видео.html
When I increase fat, I get constipated on carnivore diet. It's an opposite of what people say. Maybe I need more acid in my stomach?
Sounds like a possibility. Our video on constipation could help as well in case other factors are contributing: ruclips.net/video/UYWYd1xHnfY/видео.html
I am SO confused. Is ox bile good or not for constipation?
I explain in this video why my viewpoint is that it is not. Probably best to watch it again to understand why.
@@KickItNaturally a little confusing of a topic for me. I’ll watch again.

Hi, we're not allowed to give advice in video comments on specific situations. Once things are surgically removed, it can be nice to have a professional help you with that specific situation. I have no idea what the answer is for your situation because it is not a standard problem so it would be great if you can get a coach to help you navigate the situation. I'm not longer able to take on clients, but you can learn how to work with one of the coaches I've trained, or you can see other options for researching and finding your own answers here: kickitnaturally.com/get-help/
Hope this helps. I'll copy this into the other comments where you put this in case you miss this one.
Don't give up!
I’m in a catch 22, because I have to take ppi for a hiatus hernia 🤦♂️
I had one too. Here is our video on how to fix them: ruclips.net/video/J4GICcjT9Tw/видео.html
@@KickItNaturally Was you on ppi ? ,and how did you stop them ?
so... take ox bile if you are constipated, or don't take it? Your video is confusing.
That's because there is no ONE answer and it depends on what is going on with you.
