      There is something i wanna share about my health issue but i m not sure what it could be ! So i m living in fear !
      At first ? I got constipated for 2 days , so i went to the ER did X Reys , i was told that i have stomch constipation so i was prescribed som medicarions to be able to use the restroom , i was also told that i sould eat more fruits and vegetables as well and drink enough fluid throught the day ! But that wasn t the case for cause even thou that i started taking medication and organzing my diet for 4 days i noticed that i had hard time digesting the food that i eat even when i had lots of veggies on my meals , i even noticed that i couldn t take a bowel without using my medications even if i tried to eat natural laxatives after eacg meal such as prunes , cucembers !! I did go back to my primary doctor cause i was told by the hospital , i did my blood test , urine test , AKG i was told that my heart rate was good but i m still waiting on my blood results after a week of strict diet , i even go rid of my fav almond milk that i used to drink every morning , i took of all dietery products from my list , i got rid of red meat i only had little chicken one time that week ! So i m kinda worried about it ! Every time i eat a small meal ? I get bloated untill the next day and sometimes i feel little tightness or pain on my upper left abdominel ! What could it be doc ? I dealt with severe ulcers and H. Pylori 2 years ago. It caused me debilitating pain, loss of the ability to keep food down and severe anxiety that I didn’t know was directly caused by it. I suffered big time, I would lie in bed in the fetal position, deep breathing and sobbing because at one point every moment was extremely sharp and painful. I even considered suicide.
    Once I found out what was causing it I took the following things daily and saw drastic improvements. I felt vitality at about 2 months in. Main things that helped: every morning, I’d start the day with a pure high quality matcha green tea, I added collagen powder, bee pollen and spirulina, it unexpectedly provided instant soothing relief. I would eat pure aloe vera inner fillet, nutribiotic’s grape fruit seed extract along with oil of oregano and mastic gum- 3 x a day. When I did eat solid meals, every meal had to have loads of high quality fiber, fiber is so key, even one meal without adequate fiber can make ulcer and h.pylori pain worse. I was advised to have a very small serving of plain black beans daily, which creates a very soothing gel in the stomach. For that 2 months I also followed a “FODMAP” diet, avoiding things like garlic and onion powder seasonings, no red sauces. My diet was clean, plain and rich in high quality, easy to digest fiber.
    I was serious about killing that beast. I went from not being able to eat anything to feeling like I had an iron stomach in about 2 months. Even standard doctors have found that these natural remedies are very effective, they won’t often admit that.

      hey thank you for this comment, im actually doing a lot of stuff you mentioned, i have like 2 Weeks, i still feel like something is there in the entrance of the mouth of the stomach (if that), but i have lost so much weight, went from 79kg to 71kg in 2 weeks!, now i feel so much better but still something there, cut out all sugars and carbs, but im still eating, green apple, cut steel oats made with water and raw organic honey, also Soups made in home, fishe soup , chicken soup, but i still want to find out which other vegetables to eat, always put onion, carrots, celery, a lot of garlic, oregano, herbs, coconut oil, also raw juice of cabbage, not sure if i have to quit entirely the dairy, but i dont drink milk, only little plain no fat, no sugar yoghurt, really small amounts, anyway it does suck since it takes quite a time to heal it, but im almost there i can feel it, if you have more advise, please let me know! thank you! from Mx.

    Let me tell you from very first hand personal experience that a Stomach Ulcer Can Almost Kill You and just maybe to add to DR Berg video some potential warning signs. I had a Stomach Ulcer that I didn’t know I had in July 2017 that put me in the ER for 4 days and a $55K bill, mostly billed to my insurance company to which I had to pay about $3K of that myself to half a dozen people. As per hospital tests and also having a Stomach Endoscopy inspection procedure, it turned out to be from #1 DR Berg had on the board there for H.Pylori Bacteria infection. How, no clue on that. But anyway, I don’t drink, smoke and I cook my own food at home 90% the time and cooked and ate a bit of vegetables also.
    In thinking back a few weeks in symptoms in between eating when my stomach was empty I would feel what seems like stomach cramps a bit, which was unusual and almost feel like vomiting many the times but never did. Just felt like it and thought was something I ate causing it. When I ate food, it felt better and the funny feelings went away and stomach pains etc. But it would reoccur every now and then best I can remember. So, I took some Ibuprofen to help which at the time I didn’t know made it worse from what I was told at the ER later on when I was there. Anyway, I had a bleeding ulcer which was being made worse, bleeding into my stomach and down into my intestines. To which I had no idea was happening. But that was part of what was giving me the funny feelings and cramps seemingly from my stomach. However I had no idea any of this was happening just going about my day to day things and didn’t think much else about it.
    When I’d go to the bathroom thinking back, I realize my poo 💩 was like black in color, to which I thought that’s weird. But that was also a sign that I was passing blood through my intestines all the way from my stomach. But those clues only added up looking back after the ER event. On a Friday afternoon on 4th July weekend in 2017 I was at work and seemed fine at my desk. Occasionally I’ll get up and go bathroom to pee and it all seemed normal. Stomach would occasionally feel discomforting but I was kinda used to it a bit. I left the office and drive home on my 30 min traffic commute. All seemed fine. When I stepped out of my car on getting home to house on standing up from getting out of car, my heartbeat 💗 took off like it was at the Kentucky Durby and I was like wtf. It was racing the entire time going about 20 feet to my door.
    I felt like I was totally lightheaded just trying to get through the door and didn’t know what was going on. I almost fell in the kitchen after getting in the door. So I sat down a bit on the couch to which my hearts ate slowed back to seemingly normal and I kinda felt fine. I thought wtf is happening. I fell asleep there on couch. Few hours later I got up to take shower and my hearth rate took off again like earlier. I really realize then something was really wrong. I ended up at the ER via Ambulance 🚑 etc. my blood pressure was really low. It’s one reason my heart rate took off when I’d stand up as I barely had enough blood and pressure for the heart to pump around and I’d get light headed from not enough blood to brain. I was told at the ER I was missing about 60% of my blood and I was like 😳 wtf stunned 😳. That was 4th July weekend 2017.
    I ended up having to get 3 full blood transfusions as well plasma replacement. Layer there in the ER for three days as it was holiday weekend and no Gastrointestinal Dr on duty that weekend. Later on release had to come back for the Stomach Endoscopy Procedure to look into Stomach etc. later was prescribed some antibiotics I can’t remember the name of that was quite long to pronounce. But I was told I had an severe ulcer that was eating away and bleeding out much down my intestinal track. It’s been healed now as best I’m aware. But I almost died and could of died in traffic from passing out driving home, at home or after from dangerous low blood pressure as well blood reserve. Having an ulcer if not treated can kill you. Recognize some the warning signs if you have one from my experience so you can learn from it.

      I had the same experience. Was force by my wife to go to hospital for a check up after seeing I was very pale. I felt ok but low in energy, no pain. Turns out I had a bleeding ulcer and the blood was being digested by my own stomach. Doctors said that if I went to bed that night it was likely I wouldn’t have woken up. THANK YOU Dr Berg! I’m in tears writing this. My daughter started to have bad stomach pains 2 yrs ago. Her Dr prescribed Mylicon an OTC antacid for kids. But it was just a temporary fix. She would still experience frequent pains on a specific spot in her stomach especially in between meals or when she eats certain foods like pizza, or with dairy. Looking at her symptoms it was probably ulcers. But it was not diagnosed by her Dr.
    After watching this video, I started giving her cabbage juice daily. I put a few clean cabbage leaves, blueberry, banana, and diluted honey (must dilute honey with warm water), ice and a bit of water, in a blender. It’s actually very yummy, that my other kids also love drinking it.
    It’s been over 3 weeks since my daughter has been drinking this everyday, in the morning with her breakfast and before she sleeps at night. This is her miracle drink. Our answered prayer.
    Symptoms are now gone, and she can now eat pizza again without experiencing pains.
    We also started adding Slippery Elm drops as recommended by a natural doctor.
    We will continue to give her this drink, not only to help her stomach and digestion but for nutrition too. I will also start adding different ingredients like green leaves like spinach etc, and other fruits as well.

    Hi, Doc! I was diagnosed today with SIX stomach ulcers, gastritis, enlarged bowel, enlarged appendic and a C-Reactive Protein of 10X what is normal. I am in South America, and 2019 was HELL on earth. I travelled 10 times back to the US, stress from moving, stress from my visa, stress starting a new job in a new country and not knowing how to speak Spanish, then my only son died tragically in November. Hell! I will have my H-Pylori results tomorrow (I refused a biopsy). I brought with me Goji berries, teas (Licorice root, cumin, coriander & fennel), flax seed oil, Chlorella/Spirulina 50/50, Wheat Grass Juice Powder. I have access to amazing organic and pasture raised foods, permaculture farm for fruits & veggies. I didn't bring my juicer, though (darn!), BUT I did bring my VitaMix! Locally, they make fresh coconut juice and papaya juice, watermelon, guanabana, etc.. There are some people scaring me saying this is actually stomach cancer, when the doctors (Monte Siani, affiliated with the US Mount Saini) say it's just ulcers. I had a bleeding ulcer when I was 23, I believed from quitting smoking. But others say stress can't cause ulcers, basically 90% are causes by H-Pylori. I had 50+ bouts of diarrhea in a 36 hour window. My entire body feels on fire. I also have turmeric powder with me . . . I know it's a LOT, but do you have any recommendations? Muchas gracias desde Ecuador! Give Karen a kiss for me, por favor!

    I have a bleeding ulcer. The doctor prescribed Omeprazole 40mg and Zantac 300mg. I had a lot of heartburn, acid in my stomach, and belching. I must of had this ulcer since I was 12 years old and didn't know it until I was recently checked. I m 50 years old now. I am not a drinker, smoker or eat greasy food. I have no idea what could have caused my ulcers. Maybe genetics. I have suffered with bad insomnia all my life. Maybe that was the cause, who knows. Do ulcers need surgery or do they go away with medication?

      @Chiku N Way to go telling a person with an ulcer to not eat or drink.
      Are you a doctor or do you have a stomach ulcer yourself?
      Stop bullshitting people, if a person has pains when he doesn't eat it means he isn't adapted for fasting and he has an acid release triggered by grelin.
      If he has acid burning his ulcer then where do you think it will go if he doesn't eat or drink? If a person even has a chance doing fasting it's by flushing the acid out by drinking warm water.
      Pain exists for a reason, if your intestines hurt it means something is not right. The logic of training muscles and ignoring the pain as much as you can doesn't apply here.

      I drank lots of water and had to stay away from greasy food. I had to drink something cold because it eased the pain. I slept with a heating pad on my stomach at night because the pain would wake me up at night, you can buy a heating pad for about $20-30. I also found zantac, it was the only thing that made the burn go away. It got too expensive so I did some research, famotidine is the main ingredient in zantac, they had it in a small bottle (equate braind) for about $4 I think, it was maximum strength. I did this every day for about 6 weeks. The pain went away for hours but would come back. I learned drink water and changing my diet (Non greasy food) helped. I didn't eat much because I was scared to.
      I haven't had the pain in months so whatever it was, it went away. I thought maybe it was a stomach ulcer, I'm not sure.
      This is just what helped me & I am not a doctor giving medical advice. I hope things get better, I know the pain is terrible! Praying!

I am just having a hard time getting rid of hpylori and the ulcer. I am probably insulin resistant but I am actively working on it. Still. Also lots of symptoms of SIBO which I heard that can be brought on by the chronic h pylori. It is so hard to work on so many things. Thank you for your advice. Im 30 years old. Im switched to a keto diet after all my life eating gluten, wheat and dairy. I love your knowledge and been taking it all very seriously, so I switched to a full Keto diet and not eating right when I wake up. Im in a lot of pain abdominally, potty issues, fatigue, and feels like hunger pains all day long and hurts to be bent over or hunched for any amount of time, pain dose not go away after I eat. Also and Im not pregnant. I live a pretty stress free life at the beach, where I do a light walk 2 times a day, and stay really healthy, but im still having issues and about to go to the doctor even tho I dont prefer that option. I do 2 table spoons of apple cidar vinegar in each salad I eat daily, a keto drink with collagen, protein, cocoa/chocolate with Xylitol, all Organic. Pain started around same time as I got the keto drink 2 weeks ago, I drink one scoop with 10 ounces of water 2 times a day, seams to make me not feel hungry for a couple minutes, then the pain is back in abut 10 minutes. Do you think I could be in pain because of the high proteins in the Keto drink, or I have an Ulcer? or IBS....but I have never had these issues before, and I'm eating veggies, fish and poultry on occasion, very healthy foods now and doing the vinegar to stay acidic. Can I drink too much apple cider vinegar? I eat 2 salads a day, so about almost 5 table spoons of vinegar. Im fond of natural remedies, so anything I can do diet wise or herb wise will be most favorable. Thanks you

    Thank you Doc! I have all 3 except NSAIDs! p.s. I don’t think everyone can heal 100%. I think under Idiopathic is Genetic disorders - I believe this is linked to autoimmune diseases such as scleroderma, so automatically you’re predisposed to your organs attacking themselves or producing too much sclera/collagen and then in an acidic environment boom - it’s like creating a stress fracture to a pressure bucket of water that point becomes weak and will then ulcerate! I have family history of ulcers(mostly aunts no man, I’m a male) I came off PPP’s and anti-bio’s to natural: cabbage, slippery elm etc…& it goes and flares - because I guess genetics wins - smallest stress for me hits my stomach, or if I need to finish an assignment I can’t eat until it’s done! So unless, I quit work or living basically I will always Co-exist with ulcer - till the Lord hands me a new housing! (When he returns soon). Bless you for your advice! Shalom!

    Question: intermittent fasting and an ulcer. I realized I might have an ulcer when I tried to intermittent fast and I realized it was incredibly painful to be hungry. Is it safe to intermittent fast? Should I take something while fasting? I try to fast clean, but making the hole in my stomaches larger does not feel wise.

    • @laniwilliams9351
      @laniwilliams9351 3 года назад +2

      I recently went to the doctor for my stomach and he told me intermediate fasting is not good in this case for the ulcers we should be eating little meals throughout the day like cream of wheat oatmeal piece of toast fruit and chew your food well take vitamins and I heard papaya and cabbage juices good AIDS and healing blessings take care

    Dr. Berg, can a ulcer cause lipase to elevate a bit? Had a case of acute pancreatitis 10 years ago due to alcohol and partying. I learned my lesson and do not drink anymore. But these past two weeks I have had abdominal bloating, it started with tenderness by the xphoid process and now it travels by the belly button and through out the belly at first I thought I strained a muscle. Lost of gas as well. I also feel the burning before eating then I eat it calms down then it starts up a bit after. Please let me know thanks. DR. B

    When I had an ulcer I ate licorice every day for over a year. It really helped. I cured my ulcer naturally by changing my diet and trying to relax more. Ha ha. I refused to take any prescribed medication.

    • @sunclover
      @sunclover 5 лет назад +6

      Yep, just licorice candy. Lol I started out with Good N Plentys but then decided I didn't want the extra additives so I switched to an all natural organic black licorice candy from New Zealand. That seemed to work the best. 😊
      I do know my ulcer is cured and an all natural approach worked because I had endoscopys a year apart and my doctor said my ulcer was gone. I told her I never filled my prescriptions and just changed my diet. She said most people don't have the will power to give up foods and change their diet like that. Lol
