i am an istj and i just learned that my 15 yo brother is an infp, idk why but i am so happy about it, i just remembered about this video with my godlike introverted sensing and came back to comment lol. it was a while that i was trying to type my brother but is kind of hard to do it with children so i had to wait until now to really be sure. this conversation kind of looks like us talking to be honest. infp is soft spoken and goes more with the flow of the conversation . istj is more logical and tends more to change the conversation where he wants because he doesn't respect extroverted feeling, he just knows how he feels and has that big extroverted thinking giving thoughtful analysis. beautiful. i wish everybody a great day❤️

I felt Matt on that. I’m an INFP who would love to write, direct and act among other things I’d like to do as well. However, it’s just to provide a story that people could learn from. The stardom isn’t something I’m concerned with and the money is a good plus but not the primary incentive. It just boils down to different personalities. Some people adore the attention so much, they’ll alert TMZ. Meanwhile I’d alert TMZ to the wrong location to avoid them
Be careful with hollywood though. Don't sell your soul, they do messed up things with the high elites. And I'm pretty sure that's how Heath Ledger actually passed, from not wanting to conform to the elite's ways.

So tired of the negative opinions of ISTJ"s - which you expressed here Sara. For example, instead of saying "ISTJ's are definitely NOT people persons" you could of mentioned Matt's great answer - he showed his integrity by defending other actors (his tone matched the seriousness of the answer). But you chose to focus on the negative - what the ISTJ isn't. ISTJ's are just as good as any other personality type - just in a different way. This is a fundamental truth of MBTI - each type has their own strengths and weaknesses.

I'm an INFP my brother frustrates me with the things he says and I think he's an ISTJ but I am wondering what you and other people thought. So my brother can be very myopic in his tastes be it entertainment, food, fashion sense and his opinions. When he likes or discovers something he can zealously fixate on it and drag others with him on that journey of discovery but when comes to someone else liking something he can be somewhat rudely critical or closeminded about it. For example he makes backhanded comments about the type of shows and movies I like and constantly asking me how I could like something like that? don't you find it stupid? Can you explain to me why I like this? While he has no problem telling people why I should like something that he likes. I spend most of the day watching the stuff he likes for the majority of the day and he couldn't be bothered to try to something that I introduce to him for half an hour without interrupting it. He's also like this with food very closed minded and mocks me for being such a foodie. I've tried Russian, Ukrainian, Afghan, Greek, Italian, German, Korean, various Chinese regions, Japan, Filipino, Ethiopian, Mexican, Indian, Thai, etc the list is big. Most of the times he can't even pronounce the foods that i suggest and sometimes mocks the food itself. For example Japanese food he'll only try a small portion of the menu. I ask him if there is a Takoyaki on the menu and he's like wtf is that? Teriyaki? I can't understand you and you're weird foods or something as simple as Ramen or Pho. Lastly he's constantly asking me questions I can't or don't want to answer because they are abstract or more nuanced then a simple straight forward answer and the majority of the time its not about getting my opinions but to reinforce his own ideas and sometimes he's so block headed that he isn't listening to what I even have to say about it.. I also believe some answers need to be discovered on your own. It really really really frustrates me and I'm trying to hold back my anger by ignoring it but he never lets up. Anyways does he sound like an ISTJ because i'm trying to understand him better so I can deal with him better or do you think he's something else? What else?

It is my favorite video communication method for typology.
This is a very superficial way of analyzing someone purely just base on the way they act and appearance… just seems like your biased towards hating the ISTJ personality for no reason at all… you know ppl can switch from si to ni function, it doesn’t have to be fixed…

I’m married to a ISTJ and I did not read the same in Sara’s comments. To me it’s just how ISTJs are and there was no negative intention.
The problem is when you think "not a people person" as a negative. It's not necessarily a negative.
