The thing about the bank card isn't relevant anymore since the COVID started. Nowadays you don't even need to visit the bank to open up your account anymore. Just download the Bank's app, register and upload your documents and you'll get your card delivered to you within 3 to 4 days. As simple as that!
I'm a young ambitious guy, that would be moving into bahrain in few days, please can I join you to talk about bahrain when I get there, don't know if you will be needing an assistant anyway
I do have a question. How many suitcases did you bring with you originally ? I’m moving from the states to Cairo, and I’m not sure how much luggage to bring. Thank you again! 👩🏼🏫🐫
I took 2 pieces of checked luggage, one cabin bag and a giant handbag. A top tip if your flight isn’t direct is when you get to the boarding gate of the first flight, you can ask them to put your cabin bag in the hold. They’ll tag it and treat it like checked luggage for the rest of the journey without you having to pay any extra. It’s really helpful if you have any long layovers and don’t want to be stuck dragging an extra bag around ☺️
Thank you very much. I purchased a couple pieces of new luggage, and now I’m waiting for this virus to clear out. Let’s just say distance teaching is not that fantastic here in the state’s. Thanks again!
Hey Aimee, love your video, I am an immediate subscriber :P :D I was just approached by a school in Bahrain to teach there and that's why i started my research on the country and came across your videos.I was wondering how did you come about finding your current job? What resources did you use? Are there any specific website that offers jobs for teachers there? I am a CELTA qualified teacher.
Hi! Thanks so much for joining ☺️ I actually got my current job through someone at the school recommending me to the principal. In the past I’ve used eteach international and TES and I find that they’re both great agencies with postings for jobs all over the world!
Great video here is my view on things! Don't drink and drive its mandatory BD 500 and 1 to 3 months in jail. Don't bicycle on the roads its way to dangerous for bicycles. Don't expect cars to stop for you when crossing the road, many wont because south east Asians don't. Other then that Bahrain is safe and you will have a blast. Great food great coffee shops bars and clubs. Buy a car for 4000 pounds you can have a 2 year old Chevy Tahoe and insurance is so cheap. Roads are a million times better then UK. UK license means you get Bahrain license.
Lol ye the driving here is a bit harder than let's say UK... The roads are a bit smaller and there are more cars on the road because it's a small island with a million...amm I think ur afraid of the driving because you're living in the capital city. It's always scare to drive there but anywhere else in Bahrain it's much easier specially in South. I drive there at night everyday and there are barely any cars... So ye. If u wanna drive. Go near the southern area. If you have a license of course..
Hi. I really would love to help, but I’ve never been an international student and I don’t know anyone who has been either so I know absolutely nothing about it. I’m sorry!
Dude 😂😂😂 U said something about houses in juffair... 😂😂😂😂.... Omgg dudeee... Now I know why someone asked u how much while ur walking 😂😂😂dudeee... Juffair is knownnnn for .... 18+. . 😂😂😂Like ppl from the entire middle east come to that one city because it's known for... 18+ 😂😂😂it's a nice place ngl but dude.. I was surprised that someone asked u how much because I lived here my entire life and that never happeneds.. Maybe except in juffair. But it's a nice place. U won't find these stuff unless ur looking for them... And juffair has high buildings and it's nice

Hello! I wanted to ask do they run your credit there for apartments?
Hi! They didn’t when I was there. I just had to pay the first and last months up front. Things might have changed since then, though.
I do have a question. How many suitcases did you bring with you originally ? I’m moving from the states to Cairo, and I’m not sure how much luggage to bring. Thank you again! 👩🏼🏫🐫
