- Well, I'm officially living in Bahrain now! Moving to Bahrain was more than a little stressful because when I first got here I had nowhere to live. Luckily, I managed to find this amazing apartment (can you tell I love it?) so I wanted to share my Bahrain apartment tour with you guys! This is my first ever video from Bahrain, but I can totally make more. What kinds of videos about living in Bahrain would you guys like to see?

I'm glad you enjoyed it. 2 years ago it was renting for 500bhd, but I think the prices have gone down now.

Thank you! I am in love with it haha. I still have a lot of empty drawers and I'm trying to keep it that way...we'll see haha. Yes, it came fully furnished. It even came with things like cutlery, bed sheets and even a blender!

It is! It's probably my favourite thing about the apartment haha!

What is the cost of your apartment
Seems like I don't see dishwashers in any of the places I am looking at online. Are these super rare in Bahrain? If so, I see that maid service is included in a lot of rentals. How often do these maid services come in? And do they take care of dishes?
I don't think many apartments have dishwashers. As for maid service, I worked with several different companies while I was in Bahrain and some of them included dish-washing services and others didn't. They usually give a list of all the services they offer.

My husband is there in the US Navy! Moving to Bahrain soon to be with him, is it possible to maybe message you somehow to ask some questions? We’re looking for a place right now and this is super nice- being from America though it’s hard to tell whether these apartment finding websites are legit or not! The help would be awesome if at all possible
Ooh nice! You'll love it! I don't live there anymore, but my best advice is to use the real estate agent websites to find places you like the look of, then contact the apartment building directly to see if they have anything they can rent to you directly. We saved a lot of money that way!

I love it! I prefer where I am now to where I was in Kuwait. I lived really far out of the way in Kuwait so it got quite lonely. There's so much to do right on my doorstep in Bahrain. Thank you!

It's 500bd a month so 250bd a month each.

Sorry, but I guess the language is English so "h" don't have a sound basically. Don't pretend that someone which native language is not Arabic start pronouncing words perfect, its matter of time and getting use to it.

I'd worked with the principal of the school previously so she reached out to me and offered me the job.

For my first job abroad I used eteach international. They have a bunch of jobs posted from all over the world and a lot from the Middle East.
@@AimeeRebecca Ia girl I know is currently is kuwat and she says that kids must pass with really high marks, like 90+, and if the don't, the teacher and principal expects to cheat and chenge the marks. Parents are apparently not happy if there kids don't get 90+%.Have u experienced that

U can't compare a free apartment from Kuwait to a paying one in bahrain.
I'm in the same situation in Bahrain as I am in Kuwait because my accommodation is covered by my employers.

It definitely is haha. My apartment costs are still covered by my employer. That's pretty standard practice in the Middle East, but I'm much better off in my apartment in Bahrain that I was in Kuwait haha
