    UPDATE
    I just want to go back and clarify a few things. I didn't go into detail about what happened with my job because that's not what this video is about and I didn't want it to become a focal point. I only brought it up because it was one of the various things that brought me to the decision to fly to California so it seemed relevant to mention. I didn't want to dwell on all the details.
    However, it's been brought to my attention that, by glossing over the details, I may have inadvertently given the wrong impression. Ultimately, the main reason I left my job was because my money was withheld from me for so long and that made me extremely nervous and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, we all do need money to go about our lives! But me not getting paid was down to one person and is by no means a reflection of all the people I worked with. My principal and fellow teachers were always so supportive and kind and I would hate for the actions of one person to give a false impression of everyone else I had the pleasure of working with.
    It's time for an overdue life update. You guys know I love living in Bahrain as an expat ever since I moved to Bahrain over a year ago. But recently living in Bahrain has been difficult. I've been through a lot of stress and I realised that I was letting fear run the show. So I decided to follow my heart and follow my dreams and here's where it led me.

I am sorry for what happen to u they lost such a sweet person, but how about working in several institute per hour (by having flexi visa) there are so many institute that looking for native English regardless to the qualifications you may check ( BRELTIZ,ELSC,ORGIN training centre n many more!) Just make a list of all institute n call them (dont send CV coz they need to hear the native accent) n good luck!

    Hello from Bahrain. We seems to be in the same boat in a way. My story is a bit different and difficult. I am also coming back to the States for about 2 months in November and December to clear my mind. If you need anything here in Bahrain please do let me know. Will try my best to help you with what I can.

      Both people and work. I have been here 9 years now. I am an animal rights activist and a rescuer. That alone I am sure you get the picture. Just came from Kuwait as they attacked one of the shelters and shot over 70 animals.

    • @user-je8lr8oe1j
      @user-je8lr8oe1j 4 года назад

      Rxx x I spent most of the time in the shelter there and didn’t get to experience much of human interaction but I am sure if I did would have been a disaster as I would have fought and probably land myself in jail. I just spent half a day in Bahrain jail and it’s not the nicest place to be. Freedom is just a figure of speech and rights are unrealized dreams.

      @@Nobechildz1 It really depends on what kind a work you are looking for and your nationality as fare as visa requirements. Lately there is been push for Bahrainization, in other words jobs for Bahrainis and not expats. Therefore you would research little bit about the industry sector you are looking for and the job availability at the moment.

    I like your spirit still, you've mind of men and look of women and that's why your great, actually what you said about the work it's truth they'll use you finish like call card and find it difficult to get you paid more a special when your working with an Egyptian India and some few other country living here, they're also reason why here is hard for people coming to live in here because you'll end up working with them. But if you can be lucky to meet the locals and work with them oh my God your bless because they're going to be paying you at right time and treat you like human beings that you are not other way round. There's really much to talk about this people but is better i stop here.

    This lady doesn't know a lot about Bahrain. she's not qualified. she's not a local. she hasn't lived in more difficult countries to see the difference. she hasn't lived in Bahrain for decades like many of us. Bahrain was ranked in top 10 for foreigners by professional analysts. If you are too picky about every tiny things, you will never find the perfect place on Earth. This is Earth not Paradise. You also fail to mention the low crime rate and the friendliness of the people.

    • @AimeeRebecca
      @AimeeRebecca  3 года назад +1

      Sir, I can see you've left at least seven comments on my channel within the last few hours so by now maybe you've picked up on the fact that I've lived and worked in 5 different countries and that I regularly talked about how Bahrain was my favourite. That doesn't mean bad things don't happen there. I personally dealt with a lot of workplace drama (including not being paid the salary I was owed and being threatened by an employer), but I still speak highly of the country and my time there. I'm curious to know what more you want from me.
